Quick, friendly service. Arrived on time and very professional. Will use this service again!

Scheduled an appointment for service a week in advance. Two hours before the scheduled service time I received a text that, "due to unforeseen circumstances, your technician is unable to complete the service." This was very frustrating because now I still don't have a working car. Also, the company makes it very clear that if I was the one to cancel, I would be charged $150 dollars, but then they can cancel willy nilly leaving me out to dry with impunity. After my first call to customer service, the representative gave me a $25 dollar discount for my troubles and was going to find the next earliest appointment and call me back shortly.

I never received a call back, and after an hour and a half I called again. After insisting to stay on the line this time and waiting about 10 minutes the representative said the next earliest appointment would be next weekend. I cannot go another week without my car so now I am left scrambling to find a company that will actually perform the work when scheduled.

Company was unable to perform service as scheduled and unable to rectify the problem in a reasonable timeframe. Stay away!

I had a mechanic scheduled today from 111am-1pm. I called the company at 2.30pm and they said I can reschedule or they can get another mechanic out... I said but I have been waiting since 11am. No call, ne text from mechanic. Stay away from this dodgy company you will be charged and they won't arrive....

I used them for a couple of years. it used to be generally good except the description of one or two jobs wasn't clear so that I was not sure if they did it up to the standard.

But their service seemed non-existent in my last 2 requests. During both occasions, I sent a request for quote. Then I never heard anything. I tried to reach out and even complained through their feedback link. Nothing! I suspect their company or at least the individual car owner part has fallen apart. Don't waste your time.

I had the camshaft position sensor replaced on a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder, the mechanic checked the fluids, and replaced the radiator cap and the overflow cap in the wrong places and resulted in my truck overheating, leaving me stuck on the freeway and resulting in multiple repairs needing to be done now at a cost of around 700 dollars. After multiple emails to Wrench.com, I still haven't gotten any response.

Worst service ever! Rescheduled like two times and did not even have the parts and the mechanic was so rude😡 would not recommend this company.

Had an alternator replaced by this company one year and two weeks ago (conveniently out of warranty). A belt popped a couple of days ago. I replaced the belt myself. Went to start the vehicle and the belt was off again. I noticed that the pulley of the alternator was out of line with the other pulleys. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the bolt securing the bottom line of the alternator wasn't secured properly. Wrench/Your Mechanic wanted $170 for a diagnostic that did not go towards the labor.

The alternator replacement was just short of $900.00. This was clearly their fault. Use at your own risk. I wouldn't refer them to someone I didn't like.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The issue with my car was misdiagnosed. I spent over a thousand dollars based on their technicians diagnosis only for my car to still not start. I was then told to make another appointment which would cost more money. I took it elsewhere, the issue was diagnosed correctly and I paid less. When alerting wrench to the misdiagnosis, they tried to void the warranty on the part they installed because I took the car elsewhere. Did they really think I would continue to pay them money to guess at a problem they already didn’t fix. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I have used this service a couple of times. Both times the mechanic showed up within about an hour. Totally prepared and completed the jobs without incident or recall. I will use them again.

I schedule a mechanic to show up and work my on my car and the guy never shows up. I canceled and get charged a $150 cancelation fee. If the guy doesn't show up, I should not get charged a $150 cancelation fee.

10/10 don't recommend. 1st appointment for diagnostic (11/30) went well, great communication from my technician, he showed up on time & told me what needed repaired, and explained everything clearly. Said he would order the part (told me where he would be ordering them from) and they sent me a quote. I made the appointment 2 weeks out from
that day because of my work schedule & to make sure they would have time to get the parts in. Morning of the next appointment (12/16), hours before the appointment time, my card was charged (attempted to charge) for the full amount of the quoted estimate. I wasn't made aware ahead of time this would happen, so I wasn't prepared, but took care of it as soon as I could (still hours before appointment window). I called customer service to verify they received the money & I verified my appointment was still on as scheduled. I was told the technician could see the appointment on his dashboard & my appointment was still scheduled with no problems. Appointment window came & went and my technician was a no call/no show. I called to find out what was happening & was told they were unable to get in touch with the technician. I requested another appointment & was scheduled with a different technician for today (12/20). I called on 12/19 to verify the appointment & was told they would confirm with the technician & call me back. A few hours later, I received a call advising me they didn't have the parts needed for my repairs & to call back the following day to see if they were able to get the parts & if the technician would be coming. I did as requested, called today (12/20) before my scheduled appointment time, and was told once again they didn't have the parts needed for my car repairs. I let the person know I was extremely frustrated & requested a manager to contact me. Up until today, they still had a hold on my funds (it has now been released). This entire experience with them after the 1st visit, has been beyond frustrating. Horrible communication. Literally no communication from them unless I called to ask questions & even then, I was not given correct information. It took multiple calls, with very long hold times, just to get the little bit of information that I did get today.

Do not prepay for any services from YourMechanic. I pre-paid for services and called today for my account balance and they informed me that my credit expired. This was not a credit that was freely given from the company, this was my own money that I had entrusted with them to keep for my use at a later date.

Wrench and Your Mechanic Scam!!!!
There’s a service that will come out to your home, called Wrench and Your Mechanic and they will come out to your home and fix your car. The appealing part is that they will use certified mechanics to fix your car under underneath the price of the dealers. The problem is it’s a scam!!!They don’t use certified mechanics and currently they have charged my credit card $465 for work that they have canceled four different times. The first two times the mechanic wasn’t available. The third time was because the part wasn’t available . This time no one just didn’t showed up. They have already charged my account $465 and when I asked them for my money back, they said they can’t do that. It is a scam!!! If you go into the Better Business Bureau and you’ll read several negative reports about them. Stay away from Wrench and Your Mechanic. Please pass the word!

The repair failed within 5 months. The information about the repair, the mech, and my car's information was deleted from my account. Only the personal emails confirming payment, appointments, and review of the work remain. I don't know why the company scrubbed my info but that is not a way to instill trust in a 1 warranty on work that didn't work. No email returned, no calls answered.

Floyd the mechanic didn’t show up two times in a row. I waited two days for him to show up.
Then he tried to upsell me on additional items NOT through Wrench.
When I called Wrench directly they flat out didn’t care or offer to make it right.
Terrible experience. I would NOT recommend this service. Use another company.

I would not recommend using Wrench to my worst enemies. My car had a spark plug issue which is a relatively cheap fix. The mechanic Wrench sent got his tool stuck in the socket where the spark plug resides and could not get it out. He said he would return the next day with a solution and never came back. The mechanic stopped messaging me and ghosted me. I called Wrench multiple times over the course of a week asking for a solution and their only response was that they would "escalate it." I eventually had to get my car towed to the dealership where they spent 3 hours getting the tool unstuck. My final payment at the dealership was around $800 for a spark plug change due to the labor hours needed to remove the Wrench mechanic's tool. I have repeatedly tried to get a refund from Wrench but they have continued to be inaccessible and non responsive. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and Wrench responded that my issue was resolved. It was not. The cherry on top of this miserable experience was when the Wrench mechanic that ghosted me reached out to me to try to retrieve his tool. If I could give this business negative stars I would.

I was robbed! Literally robbed by one of the mechanics! Charged me for a job and did not do the job! And I still had to take my car to a shop to get fixed I paid almost 1000 dollars to replace a started when initially it only would have been 550 had I just got it towed to a shop! Literally charged me for a job he didn’t do and the company said it was legit charges I never got my money back!

The mechanic was TERRIBLE. I called to complain and the did absolutely nothing.
