This was my first experience with a mobile mechanic…. And it was an excellent experience!! He was on time, pleasant and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed my issue and did not try to get me to buy something unnecessary. I’m more than pleased with this mechanic 😆

Wrench/Your Mechanic installed a new alternator and a new belt. The alternator showed signs it was not charging likewise I called for technician to check their work and the parts they purchased with my money. My vehicle now will not start. They state that their is out of warranty and the parts. Why can't I have the name of the part company? Please be cautious in using this company

I am so thankful! The technician who did the work on the car, I mean, it is hard to put my thankfulness into words, completely, and that was an affordable service, and you all are very much appreciated!

Horrible! Cancelled at the last minute while I was waiting for the person to arrive.

I would have been charge $150 for cancelling.

We had a water pump and thermostat replaced. Less than 10 miles later, the car overheated and had to be towed. They sent a different mechanic who simply pushed in a radiator hose and stated it had not been installed correctly. He then told us we may need to add more antifreeze when the engine warms and he left. Less than 10 miles later, same issue and another tow to a brick and mortar mechanic. They diagnosed that all the bolts were loose on the water pump which in turn has now destroyed the belt. We paid for the repair again and this company would not take any ownership of the issue nor would they refund any of the money we paid (over $1,100.00 twice). They were very rude to deal with and completely blew us off stating that they did complete the work. The supposed mechanic that did the initial repair showed up in a beat up SUV and did not even have torque wrench. He passed me his card when he was done stating to call him first next time instead of the company. To top it all off, they were only a few dollars less that than using an actual mechanic. The entire transaction was very sleazy and we recommend you stay far away from this company. We will never even consider them again. Very sleazy!!

Awful. They came to “fix” my car and all he did was jumpstart it and tighten a screw. Charged me $160. Then the next day it broke again and they refused to come fix it for free even though I stated I ALREADY PAID and they didn’t do their job. Total scam

Terrible service, the mechanic was four hours late, guessing with prices, he didn’t come prepared with the tools needed to give a accurate diagnostic and also bad costumer service.

Have had 5 scheduled warranty "diagnostic" visits cancelled over past 2 weeks for faulty alternator installation and damage caused to vehicle by improper splash guard installation.

If I will rate my recent experienced with this Wrench/Your Mechanic it would be a -0, but it won't let me. so I just have to pick 1 star. I used to have good experience with this mobile mechanics in the past. The last job request from this company was a nightmare. The mechanic who performed the oil changed job, didn't do the job right, don't know what he did wrong that cause the oil to leaks so bad that my engine oil run dry, after a few days having my car just sitting in my garage, after the oil changed. Then when I drove my car the first time since the oil changed. My car got worse, strong smoke & all the warning lights were on when I drove it & there's a knocking sound from my engine. I tried contacting the company about this, haven't heard anything.

Took my money, scheduled an appointment, then cancelled 2 hours later. Terrible company

I paid $150 for nothing. Tech came, assessed the issue, but never returned to replace the part that was causing the car's battery to drain. I had to get the car towed to a mechanic garage. Waste of money. Never again!

I’m writing to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience I’ve had with your company — something I doubt you are aware is occurring under your leadership.

I scheduled an A/C compressor repair and replacement through Wrench.com for a Saturday appointment. The service was inexplicably rescheduled to Sunday without clear communication. I was present and ready, but no one showed up. When I followed up, I was informed the parts weren’t available until the following day — something that should have been known before confirming the appointment.

Monday came, and again, no technician appeared due to parts issues. Today, I waited from 8:30 AM until I finally made a call at 10:20 AM, only to learn that now the technician does not have the proper equipment to perform the install.

After wasting three days and considerable time from my own schedule — I am the CEO of my own company — the only solution offered was to wait an additional five business days to receive a refund of nearly $2,000. That’s not just unacceptable — it’s disrespectful to your customers’ time and money.

The sour taste left by this experience won’t go away easily, but I felt it important to share this directly with you. I had higher expectations from Wrench.com and sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously to improve your operations and customer service integrity.

Atrocious and Scandalous-

I am requesting a full refund of the Kwik Kar bill that I attached due to your company's neglectful actions toward my car. I have attached thorough documentation to support my claims.

I have a major concern regarding Juan, who worked on my vehicle on December 24th. He indicated that he could fix my oil pressure switch, but he did not. The check engine light remained on. He failed to ensure the problem was fixed. He vacated the premises before I could ask any questions. After I tried contacting him numerous times via text message and phone call, he then responded to me about two weeks later after I wrote a bad review. He sent me extremely unprofessional text messages riddled with profanity and defaming my character. Before I had a chance to respond, he blocked me. I have those text messages attached. However, my paramount concern is my vehicle and the money that I spent fixing a problem caused by your worker's negligence.

Since the problem was not fixed, Jacinto, the next mechanic came out and saw the codes- knock sensor and oil sensor switch- were still showing in the diagnostic. Jacinto did not take apart the engine to verify that the oil pressure sensor switch was placed in the engine correctly. He assumed it was the oil pump. Again, this clearly indicates the first individual did not complete the job correctly, and subsequently causing more damage to my vehicle.

I went to get another opinion about my vehicle. I do not need an oil pump. The issue was with the damaged parts caused by your worker who claimed he replaced the oil pressure switch, and if he did, he did not replace it correctly. Moreover, while he was working, he damaged the knock sensor harness and connector; he did not properly secure my engine, and he broke other parts of my vehicle, which has caused further damage.

I have attached pictures and videos to show you proof of your worker's negligence towards my vehicle. I also attached the final bill that I had to pay for that you your company should have fixed.

This could have been a catastrophic event if my engine would have unhinged or overheated while driving due to your company's negligence.

August 24, 2024 Diagnostic 457491, August 25, 2024, appointment ID 457583, water pump replacement. Problem #1: Wrench / Your Mechanic claimed they would authorize $800+ for the water pump replacement; in actual fact my credit card was charged twice for the service. It took a week or so to get the right charge sorted out.

Problem #2: I had to replace the >>brand new water pump<< less than 6 months later. Due to Wrench's abysmal reviews related to warrant/replacement, I didn't even bother.

As a securities professional with experience in venture capital, I see the obvious huge potential of adapting the Uber business model to home-delivered auto mechanic services. It's sad to see Wrench / Your Mechanic botched the venture so badly. Consider starting from scratch?

The mechanic was very disrespectful. It smelled like alcohol looked like he was on drugs, brought a dog with him. Did not complete the job you guys still charge me. And I had to pay somebody else to finish the job. I would not recommend you guys at all.

Apparently in the entire city of New Orleans there's only one mechanic for this company, one guy. He replaced my alternator and in doing so, totaled my vehicle. Twice now I've had an appointment to fix his work and twice now I've been charged the diagnostic fee when he never actually showed up. This website is a scam. You're better off paying the tow truck to get to a shop.
