Rescheduled 3 Times
Rescheduled 3 Times , Then My Diagnostic Was “Maybe It’s The Battery” , No Test Or Real Diagnosis. A Scam To Keep Getting More Money For Subpar Service.

No show but still have a charge on my credit card. Seems like a scam. Set up an appt, was confirmed, no one ever showed up or even contacted me. No response when I reached out to the company. Beware
Warranty issue
Made an appointment to have brake pads replaced due to loud noises coming from the brakes while driving. This was the second brake job I had with them. Everything went well the first time, but I had an issue this second time. I thought that the warranty had expired but I was informed by their mechanic that it was still under warranty. He gave me the information to contact the warranty dept. The warranty dept kept giving reason after reason why they won't give any type of refund. From I should of called for warranty service first thing- I explained I would of but I thought it expired already. They ended saying they understand from my point of view but then started talking about they still won't give any type of warranty service and then started talking about the inconsistency in the amount of wear on brake pads by different vehicles and drivers. He went on and on about this and stated his supervisor had the same opinion on it. I just gave up at that point
As a follow-up to the wrench/YourMechanic unsigned auto response to this complaint about their concern and want to help,
I contacted, left messages, to the number listed with ZERO response back.
Great Mechanic, Weak Warranty
I used YourMechanic.com to replace the 12-volt battery on my hybrid. The technician arrived on time, was professional, and the service was very convenient — no complaints there.
The downside? The battery only came with a 12-month warranty and it failed after just 16 months. That’s frustrating and costly, especially for a hybrid where quality parts really matter.
YourMechanic is great for convenience and professionalism, but if you're replacing something major like a battery, ask about the warranty first.
pricing is completely false
pricing is completely false, people are rude and ignorant to deal with. mechanic did not fix problem and sent bill for repairs and left, was completely unprofessional never did the work. do not use them.
This is really odd....
I wrote my original review on July 31, 2025 titled Mechanic showed up with no tools. I have read 30-40 reviews and noticed something very odd. It appears that out of 30 reviews, all 1 star and submitted by men. There were four 5 star reviews out of 30, all submitted by women. I believe that Wrench has falsely reviewed themselves via these 4 woman. By doing this they are saying to me that they want to do business with woman and can do without business from the men. Boycott this company male or female they are flim flam artists and need to go out of business.
Your Mechanic review
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I called myself getting ahead of the game and replacing my sparkplugs early since it was almost at its recommended milage. The mechanic shows up and halfway through the service he breaks the coil which I had to replace. After the service was complete, the mechanic did an inspection of the car which stated there were malfunctions with the engine coil and soark plug. OnceI turned on my vehicle, my engine light turned on and the vehicle shook uncontrollable. I had to park the vehicle and use my wife's car. I reach back out the mechanic and he stated that I had to go through the company and they would send him back to fix the issue. I spoke to multiple representatives who then tried to charge me a diagnostic fee after the mechanic damaged my vehicle. They then agreed to wave the fee but refused to send the previous mechanic because he damaged my vehicle, which I understood. I had to wait 2 days without a vehicle because there weren't any mechanics available at the time. During my scheduled apt. The other mechanic canceled at the last minute but agreed to schedule the appointment the next day. The other mechanics comes the next day to perform a diagnostic on the vehicle and realized the previous mechanic didn't place the coil or spark-plugs on properly and used a ziptie to keep it in place. The mechanic placed this information in his notes and provided pictures. The next day I received a call from the company stating they weren't going to be held liable because the piece the mechanic broke is plastic and in their policy thats not something theyre required to cover. I requested a supervisor while speaking to multiple representative and they all declined my request and 2 hung up the phone on me. I requested the number to corporate and their legal department and they also declined to provide me that information. So i lost 750.00 and I still have fix what was broken. Again, never utilize this company!
No called no showed and they still want…
No called no showed and they still want 150 to cancel lol. Might just be scam.
comes with no tools to appointment
Scheduled an online appointment for a regulator replacement and window glass silicon re-glue. The mechanic showed up without a single tool for the requested repair, reclassified the visit as a $179 diagnostic, didn’t even lift the window to protect the car from rain, and scheduled a follow-up two days later with a $608 quote—bringing the total to $787. Outrageous. Took it to a local shop instead, had it fixed in 4 hours for $450.
Avoid it.
Not the Same Since Wrench took over
I have used YourMechanic for years. They used to be very reliable. They always had good professional mechanics. You could also used the same mechanic everytime if you wanted. The last time I used the service it has been a terrible experience. I recently had my spark plugs changed out by one of their mechanics. After the service I noticed that my engine was misfiring pretty badly. I waited a few days to see if it would clear up and it didn't so I emailed them. A couple days went by and no response. I called them to see I they could have a diffent mechanic come out to check the last mechanics work and do a diagnostic check. The mechanic test drove my vehicle and swore he didn't notice any misfiring. He didn't even check for codes or anything and I got charged $150 for a diagnostic check. He said he would notify the company and see if they would cover the check under the warranty. After he was done I emailed them again. It's been 4 days or so and still I haven't heard anything from them. I've just decided to get another mechanic to have this issue checked out. I'll never use Wrench/YourMechanic again.
I hired YourMechanic to replace the…
I hired YourMechanic to replace the alternator on my 2008 Honda CR-V and was initially quoted $378.14, which included 1 hour of labor and their promise of “transparent pricing” with no hidden fees.
The mechanic arrived on time with the correct part, but the job ended up taking nearly 3 hours—far longer than necessary for this standard repair. There were no rusted bolts, missing parts, or modifications on the vehicle. Instead, the delay was due to the mechanic appearing unfamiliar with the process, taking excessive time to figure things out.
When the job was finally done, I was emailed a revised invoice for $621.62, charging me for 2.5 hours of labor—nearly double the original quote. So much for transparent pricing.
It gets worse: a few days later, we discovered he had removed the engine mount unnecessarily and forgot to reconnect the engine ground wire. I had to call Wrench, who sent out a different mechanic. That mechanic confirmed:
This job should have taken no more than 1 hour
The engine mount should never have been touched
This was an unprofessional and overpriced experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend YourMechanic and would advise others to be cautious before booking.
What a disappoint ent
Couldn’t give it a zero because that’s what I got… 0. Cancelled appt fifteen minutes before the end of the appt window. Asked for a refund and was told it could take up to 10 business days. That’s a long time for Wrench to have my money for a service they didn’t show up for. What was marketed as a convenience has just become the most inconvenient experience I’ve had on a long time.

I have used this company before and got my fuel pump replaced but it's only been a year n it's going out again so not sure if it was done correctly. I also called on July 1st to get my gasket done and scheduled an appt n they called n cancelled so I mk another appt and I waited all day jst to get cancelled again they called 1 or 2 after my appt time they charge customers 150 for late charges well wat about us customers that get cancelled tha same day n 2 hours after tha appt time very very inconsiderate my whole day waiting for nothing I was so pissed cuz I had a lot of work out on hold n then to not even show up wat kind of so called professionalism is that. I wouldn't recommend this company to my friends or family not reliable.
Wonderful! Fast, easy and great work
As always, the guys at wrench are amazing, fast and do great work!
If I could put 0 stars I would
If I could put 0 stars I would. I had a hub assembly replaced the mechanic didn’t torque the hub or wheel causing damage to the hub actuator making my 4wd not work
Use anybody else but Wrench
It took a week to get my alternator fixed because they didn't show up three times because they canceled HOURS after they were supposed to show up. When they finally fixed it, they broke my AC. They sent a new tech three days later. He lied and said he didn't hear a hissing sound. Told me I needed freon when I didn't. Charged me $150 that should've been covered by the warranty for damaged they caused. He then tried to tell me it was broken before they fixed my alternator and he wasn't even the original mechanic. He charged the $150 without my consent.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. The worst thing I ever did was spend money on this company. They sent a drunk guy old guy to my house who admitted he had no idea what to do with a car my year. It was a waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and just pay the money at an actual mechanic shop.
It was quick & on time

Wasted money for a diagnostic that was improperly done. They sent me a quote for services and didn’t complete the original service that would have reduced my charge for that service. Mechanic was late by almost 4hrs and never showed back up.
