Great App, clear info, love the way the rewards work both in-person and online especially the way you redeem afterwards so you pay like a traditional card transaction and can sort the redemption later. Hopefully the rewards start to stretch out to other areas and city’s. Have referred to a friend who is also enjoying the experience. Plus cancelled my travel pack insurance from barclays as this includes it!

Easy to use, great user experience on the app, love the ability to use it abroad when travelling with no extra added fees, excited by the prospect of having a supper club offered through the yonder community, the availability of an eSIM, and the whole Yonder experience in general.

Yonder is easy to use, including the option to use or redeem points with Yonder experiences, and the benefits are often worth it too. I think the marketing comes across friendly which aids the brand.

Don't touch them with a barge pole! I just accepted their offer to pay my mortgage each month to get rewards. They set it up and cancelled my direct debit. They've emailed me overnight to say they've cancelled my account with no explanation. What a mess they've now caused me. I've done nothing wrong and this how they treat you. Horrendous customer service.

Any business that hikes membership prices by 33% overnight is one to avoid. What next? How can they be trusted? One to avoid going forward

My experience with Yonder has been great. I’m an expat and they were the only ones offering me a credit line I can use in my daily life. Their app is beautiful, and the rewards I can redeem with points are very convenient. Keep it up Yonder team! Looking forward for the new chapter with the new membership plan/benefits.

My experience with this company has been an absolute shambles.

You can see from my previous posts that I had a Yonder Rewards Credit Card for only a few days in December 2025 (was maybe 4 days and 1 purchase). After opening the account, I was fed up with the marketing popups in their app and so after a few days I paid off the balance and closed the account on 22/12/2025.

Since then I have had untold emails and phone calls with them trying to get the account Closed on my credit file.

I have been told by their Customer Care team to raise this as a dispute via the Credit Reference Agencies, but the is could potentially cause issues with my credit file.

I have refused to do this as really it’s a simple task that is Yonder’s responsibility to do.

I have been told multiple times by them that they update the Credit Reference Agencies on the 25th of every month. I have waited again until the 26th of September to check again and yes, the account is still showing as open. My credit file shows it was updated with Experian 2 weeks ago, with Equifax 3 weeks ago and TransUnion 4 weeks ago.

It’s absolutely unacceptable that a company as large as this can’t resolve a simple task like closing a paid in full account that was closed 9 months ago.

Yonder has confirmed multiple times via email that the account was closed on 22/12/2025 and that this will be resolved, but 9 months later it’s still on my credit file.

I’m actually not sure where to go from here.

Do NOT use this company for a credit card, there are much better companies out there. I have credit cards with multiple other banks and companies including Amex, which one have absolutely no issue with.

I have sent yet another email this morning and I’m sure ill get a standard response in the next few days promising for this to be “Escalated” and resolved.

It’s ridiculous that I have to sit here and repeatedly review a company as large like this.

You have been warned people, stay away and try one of the more reputable credit card companies and established banks.

This company offered me 6k credit limit on Experian. Went ahead and supplied me with the card and account at that limit from Experian information. As soon as I receive the card and paid my first months membership. They froze the account and reduced my limit by 50%. With all that entails for the credit rating.
For the first number of weeks all transactions were “restricted” due to “unusual activity” being the first 10 or so transactions on the account. And the secondary authority was always too late because of an issue with the app notifications.
And finally to add further insult after months of use with no issue. I get an email at 3am informing me that have reduced my limit. No warning whatsoever. Almost to the point of wiping out any available credit on the account. Warning me that I’m “close to my limit and should make a payment”. This company is completely untrustworthy. Based on the other reviews. Unrealiable. And I will be closing my account with them as soon as possible. Especially as they have increased their fee by almost 25% as of this month too.

Great card offering. Seamless application process and very rewarding dining experience, especially in London.
It's not quite tour traditional card (the way payments are taken and grace period after the bill), by I've had it for a year now and still loving it.

DO NOT USE YONDER…BAIT AND SWITCH APR.

So i got a yonder deal through experian offering a guaranteed acceptance of 12% and 3.5k pre approved. 100%
I clicked to process this through the experian link which took me to yonder.
The yonder page then directed me to download the app..i could not complete this deal via the yonder link that opened and only via the app.
So i downloaded the app and the 12% deal was gone.
Yonders app was now showing 36x % not the original 12% they agreed with me through pre approval via Experian.
So before continuing i messaged yonder's customer service via live chat who told me the rate shows was just generic and when i input my details it will show my rate.. so before i continued i asked younder live chat if this will be a hard search on my credit file as if so i wont be continuing if they cant offer me the already pre approved rate of 12% based off of their details they already had of mine via experian deal.
I was told No hard search would happen unless i continue through with the application and all id need to do first was add my details get my apr rate and only then if i agreed and continued would the hard search happen..
the customer service agent agrees yes as long as i didn't continue after seeing my apr the hard search would not happen..
Well it turns out yonder are a bunch of crooks and their live chat representatives wither dont know their jobs or just lie for the sakes of it.
so i put in basic details get to the screen where it should be showing me my 12% agreed deal that i got in experian for younder but no.. 36x% and a lower credit limit too.. so i did not click to continue with the application i closed the app and application and it and went no further their for no hard search should have happemed. i then got an email. From experian HARD SEARCH RECORDED ON YOUR CREDIT FILE FROM YONDER now at no point in the stage of adding my basic info did the app warm me it was about to do a hard search. I raised a complaint with yonder who told me that i entered a different address into yonder than i have on experian.. i have one and only one address and it was the same address entered into yonder as in Experian.. yonder have completely ignored that their customer service representative gave me completely wrong misleading information which has now resulted in a credit file hard search.. THIS IS NOW GOING TO THE OMBUDSMAN.. younder used a bait and switch apr then lied about their reason and ignored other evidence in the complaint.. don't use this cowboy company….

To add insult to injury they closed my complaint ticket and didn't even reply to my last comment 👍

Update… since yonder commented on this review asking for more evidence to “look into this” as i suspect there has been nothing from them… they obviously looked at the case and transcript and seen their live chat agent misled a potential customer..
and as we see here no further response from yonder.. avoid them they are nothing but hassle.

I’m so pleased to have chosen Yonder. I get great service , easy to use through the online app and also get points to go towards reward scheme . I was with Capital 1 for many years but poor support and fees for using abroad led me to change . Keep up the great work Yonder!!

Avoid. They've got higher interest rates than most and they will randomly decrease your credit limit unlike most other mainstream credit card providers (they done this to us twice during an important stage of a refurbishment when the money was needed). They also don't allow outward money transfers unlike most others. Just a fancy e-wallet with a lending facility and high rates.

Have recently had my credit limit reduced to £900.00 ‘based on information provided by Equifax.’ Which seems strange because the same credit agency have raised my credit score this month and Amex used the same information to provide me with a Gold card!

The bigger issue is thus - I have been working overseas for the last month (in the GCC) and the company have clearly seen that my spending in overseas currency has increased accordingly - clearly a cost to the business as they pay for the foreign exchange. It seems other users of the product are seemingly punished for using the card abroad regardless of income or credit profile and the company apparently doesn’t like its customers being provided with credit elsewhere. I thought maybe this was a British alternative to Amex and Avios travel credit cards, but alas, I was wrong….
