Disappointing

I rarely leave public reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared so others can make an informed decision.

This was a trip I had been planning and dreaming about for months. I rearranged my entire schedule to make it happen, only for everything to fall apart due to flight changes. What made the situation unbearable wasn’t the airline issue alone—it was the complete lack of customer service and support when things went wrong.

When I needed guidance, advocacy, or even basic assistance, there was none. No meaningful effort was made to help resolve the situation, and I was left to absorb the loss on my own. As a result, my trip was canceled and I lost money with no sense of accountability or care.

Travel disruptions happen—I understand that. But how a company shows up for its customers during those moments matters. Unfortunately, this company did not show up at all.

This was a deeply disappointing and disheartening experience, and based on how it was handled, I will never use their services again. I would strongly encourage anyone considering booking to think twice and be prepared to advocate for themselves if things don’t go as planned.

Called company back within 24 hours to…

Called company back within 24 hours to try and make change, the company told me they would look into and took a week to get back to me by email and then never responded. Finally got through to another person and they informed me I couldn't make the change without buying a whole new ticket. Wish they would have said that in the first place

Problems avoided by competent Ajents

Well, after our first reservation we needed to add my daughter, it looked like it would be a problem, but then an agent took the problem and told me she would get back to me. A day later she had our reservations @straightend out. From there the fee was adjusted with a small increase in price.

Just booked our second trip

Just finalized our second booking with YG. Our first was to the Azores & Madeira. This time to Ireland. Each time we started with a pre-made itinerary and then made a few mods. YG is always open to customization and their agents are top notch with assisting with making the changes. We’ll definitely use YG again in the future to help us get explore the world.

Great Prague trip!

Booking over the phone was very easy and the agent patient and helpful. Amazing value for this trip - flights, airport/hotel transfers, accommodation at a clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff - and included a great buffet breakfast. It was only a few minutes walk to the nearest metro/tram station. Beautiful and interesting city to explore!

Excellent service

We used Yesgetaways for a trip to Barcelona and it went perfectly! We chose to have a private car to & from the airport and both drivers communicated with us and provided directions to where we’d meet them. Very professional & helpful drivers. The hotel we selected, Arc LaRambla was simple, clean, and rooms bigger than expected. Staff was friendly & breakfast was optional but we opted in after seeing the restaurant prices in the city, it was very reasonable. The staff of Yesgetaways contacted us promptly by phone when we forgot to respond to a request via emaail. They could not have been more efficient and I would highly recommend them.

This was our first time using yes…

This was our first time using yes getaways and we weren’t sure how it would go. They were wonderful to work with! They updated our itineraries as necessary. They gave us plenty of reminders of our flights and our pick up arrangements. Our flight was detoured and landed in a different airport than originally expected and our driver waited two hours for us. It was fantastic!

Escape to MALTA from Canadian Winter!

Visiting Malta as our 71st country and learning that there are a vast majority of varied nationalities working and visiting so it made for great conversations in restaurants and tours that we experienced!
Our hotel in Gzira was situated across one of the bays overlooking Valletta and had great nightime views for pictures....also at least 25 varied restaurants within walking distance along the boulevard.
Our package included a rental car but after our experience of arriving at airport and driving through rush hour ( 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. ) to get to hotel and then having problems finding a parking space identified within white lines as explained to by locals and hotel staff and them also suggesting not to drive as learning to operate on opposite side of road compared to Canada adds to further excitement while trying to relax on vacation!
Most of our tours were either being picked up at hotel or close by and walking to ferry was 20 minutes for 9 euros round trip for two to Valletta!!!
Airport is about 20 minutes from hotel.
Weather was great in high teens / early 20's Celcius so for us as Canadians shorts and tee shirts every day of week long trip.
Great company to deal with and we had used companion company AZORES GETAWAYS in 2015 and owner and his assistant hiked with our group!!!!

Great communication that delivers! Trip was as advertised and better than expected. Price performer. Great to have an itinerary and good instructions from YES.
If you don’t see what you want- like flight times and upgraded accommodation you can call and they are there to provide alternatives.
