Everything thing was as agreed
We arrived late at night past 23:30 and it was not a problem to pick up the car. The car was brand new, with less than 1000 km. Both picking up the car and dropping it off was very smooth.

Vriendelijke lokale verhuurder met goede prijs-kwaliteit. Handig op het vliegveld en een snelle afgifte en inname van de auto. Gelukkig geen schade dus hoe deze afhandeling gaat, kan ik geen oordeel over geven.

We take reviews seriously, but we also need to correct false statements.
Your claim that we “do not pay deposits back” is simply not true. As clearly stated in our rental agreement, the security deposit is released within 10–14 working days after the vehicle is returned.
In your case, the deposit was released within the agreed timeframe. We also sent you the cancellation proof multiple times and even contacted your bank directly to help clarify the situation on your side.
Delays can sometimes happen depending on the bank’s processing times, but that does not mean the deposit was not refunded.
We kindly ask that reviews reflect the actual facts of the situation and avoid misleading future customers.

Dopo aver effettuato una prenotazione, mi sono accorto che alcuni vincoli non erano per me accettabili, in particolare il deposito di 750 Euro richiesto oltre al pagamento, nonostante avessi selezionato la copertura più completa disponibile.
Per questo motivo ho provveduto tempestivamente a richiedere l’annullamento dell’ordine via email.
Non avendo ricevuto alcuna risposta, dopo tre giorni ho inviato un secondo sollecito. A oggi sono ancora in attesa di un riscontro, e inizio a dubitare che arriverà.
Non riesco a comprendere se si tratti di un servizio estremamente inefficiente o di una deliberata mancanza di trasparenza nel gestire le comunicazioni dei clienti. In ogni caso, la mia esperienza è stata decisamente negativa.
Servizio assolutamente sconsigliato.
Edit: Sono trascorsi 11 giorni dal mio primo sollecito e 8 giorni dal successivo. Ho potuto conoscere lo stato della mia cancellazione solo grazie alla risposta sotto questa recensione negativa. Non era più semplice rispondere alle email?

Bad experience
Bad experience. Fist not a VW polo but Citroen C3 wit more damage than on the agreement. Secondly deposit issues; was €500 creditcard (but forgot pincode) so with direct debit was it €1600. But no worries ‘ good deal” just pay insurances ( equal to rental value!) than €500 is okay also. Fuel at start only 1/8 and now back from holidays but deposit hasn’t been transferred back. What a poor service! Never again

Firstly, we would like to clarify that we do not guarantee specific car models unless explicitly confirmed. Your reservation was made for a vehicle category, and at no point was a Volkswagen Polo specifically guaranteed. The vehicle provided, a Citroën C3, belongs to the same category and meets the booking requirements. Regarding the condition of the vehicle, we always encourage customers to review the check-in report carefully and report any concerns before leaving with the car so we can address them immediately.
Regarding the security deposit, for this vehicle category the standard deposit is €1,600 when using a debit card. As your credit card could not be processed, we explained the available alternatives at the desk. One option was to proceed with the standard deposit, and the other was to purchase additional insurance to reduce the deposit amount. This option was offered to ensure you could still collect the vehicle and continue with your trip.
Concerning the deposit refund, as agreed in our terms and conditions, we release the deposit from our side after the vehicle is returned. The release process typically takes 10–14 working days, after which the timing depends on your bank’s processing procedures.
Finally, our fuel policy is always same-to-same, meaning the vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level it had at collection.
We understand that parts of the process may have felt frustrating, and we’re sorry for that. Your feedback is valuable, and we will continue working to make our communication even clearer for future customers.

Tout c’est très bien passé aussi bien à la prise qu’à la restitution de la voiture Pas de mauvaise surprise, ni coût supplémentaire contrairement à la concurrence.
