Unauthorized credit card withdrawal by WWMA
In October 2024, I signed up for the Worldwide Women’s Association (WWMA), without any additional charges being mentioned, except for the one-time lifetime fee of $199. This was paid via my credit card. After signing up and receiving a confirmation email, I discovered via LinkedIn and review platforms such as Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau that WWMA is a scam.
Initially, nothing seemed to happen, and I thought it would end with a whimper, but this February I noticed that in addition to the initial payment of $199, unauthorized charges had also been made: $399 in November 2024 and $459.95 in February 2025. I immediately called my bank's Fraud Desk. They will pursue it from their angle. I also contacted WWMA and threatening legal action, they promised to refund the $459.95 within 7-12 business days (awaiting the refund). However, the refund of the $399 has not yet been acknowledged. I have also demanded that my membership be terminated immediately. They have confirmed that.
I am now awaiting the refund of the $459.95, but have not received any response about the $399.

I signed up and tried to contact the organization and never got a response. I asked for my refund because I was within the 30 days grace period..NEVER, heard from anyone or neither did I get a refund. Yes, I too was scammed.
Randomly charged my CC
Randomly charged my CC. I immediately notified this organization that I was not interested, and did not wish to proceed forward with this organization. This was within the time frame cancelation. They don't answer a phone, your email is only within their website if you don't pay attention. Instead of canceling from the onset, they have charged my CC again, this is the 4th time in less than a year, the amounts are allegedly for services you have never requested. Had to get others involved. Beware!
This is a scam.
This is a scam.
Since 2023, I have requested that they delete all my bank account details after charging me for services that I do not request.
In 2024 they charge me again and I did the same request.
2025 they do the same and I am struggling to try to get my money back and is being a nightmare.
How can we stop this?

If I can give a less than 1 star review I would! They are a scam. Continuously charging my credit card for yearly membership, which I have cancelled over and over. I have to check my CC statements every month to ensure they don't charge. This has happened 4 times now! They refunded immediately, but this last time they told me to request charge back from my CC company. I had to cancel my CC and get a new one. Stay away!!

Women's World Wide SCAM Association
I don't know how I gotten caught up with this scam, as they got me during a vulnerable time where they kept calling, and calling to follow-up everyday on an application I filled out on Instagram via an AD they put out. I kept receiving calls daily prior to answering Women's World Wide Association (SCAM)!!!! I spoke with someone whom identified herself to be Moesha Williams a Recruitment Coordinator. Moesha went through a whole interview process, which seemed to be legit and even answered questions pertaining to the association. Things gotten a little sketchy when I was asked to pay for membership, and I would receive a welcome package in a couple of days. I did provide credit card information however I did not provide this fraudulent woman with my mailing address. Moesha Williams stated they only accepted Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Moesha Williams stated since I had an AMEX card, I would receive $50 off my membership, which was a lie, it was more like $2. It was supposedly going to be charged $149, which did not happen right away at the end of the call... maybe I was lucky because there was no pending charges on my credit card. I did a quick google search at the end of the call and saw the reviews on Google, BBB, LinkedIn, etc. I immediately called my credit card company and had my card reported lost and stolen. I also reported World Wide Women's Association and Moesha Williams for fraud to the FTC, Internet Crime Complaint Center, BBB, my local Attorney General's Office, etc. I also texted them and warned them not to charge my card and I will contact contact my local police department to have an aggravated harassment charge filed against them for the constant calls and text messages. The only thing I regret is not recording the call and I honestly forgotten about this Apple feature.

Saw an ad in LinkedIn
Saw an ad in LinkedIn, so I thought it was interesting and filled out an application. They called multiple times until I was available, the lady speaking to me seemed interested in my career, experience, etc, and she "approved" my membership and congratulate me, she proceeded to read from a script what benefits I would get from this membership - which sounded interesting - then she asked for the money: 5 years membership for $199 or a lifetime membership for $299, I said I would like to review their website and think about it, so she started to put sales pressure on me "we have high demand, we won't be able to call you back, I can send you a link and you just enter your credit card" lol, I said I wanted to make an informed decision and I had to think about it, then she read the whole script again, word by word and more frustrated: "but you will get access to blah blah blah", at that point I said I wasn't interested, so she went "ugh" and hung up. I guess it's a money grab after all. Dodged a bullet!!
Unprofessional
I signed up to receive more information via an ad on social media. They then proceeded to call and text me numerous times per day. I picked up one of the calls and the woman was very professional explaining who she was. I told her I decided not to move forward, and she replied, "but did you go through the interview process?" When I explained I did not appreciate being stalked and that the reviews were not favorable, she quickly changed her tone, said ok, and hung up. So many red flags. I would avoid.

I was open to this being legit; bullet dodged!!
I was open to this being a legit organization, so I gave them my contact info. Immediately I started getting bombarded with collection-style calls: 8 or so a day from different numbers, random, all within my own area code. I live in a different part of the country now from my area code, so I knew somebody wanted money. “Haven’t we paid all our bills?!” I asked my partner. Emails, several a day.
Finally I answered the phone. The lady on the other end identified herself as from the WWA. I told her now was a bad time and I would call her back. 45 min later it rang again, new number. I answered and still gave the benefit of the doubt, listened, answered the questions.
It was like talking to a corner psychic. The questions were bs and I got the smooth “of course, I know exactly what you mean. You’re obviously a savvy blah blah blah..” I was thinking: cut to the chase. It’s obviously a money grab; how much?
It’s $200-400, just so you know. I was super polite, told the lady this wasn’t in my budget right now but I would put a pin in it for next budget consideration. I actually meant it.
She tried again, offering me a discount. I said, “you’re very good, but I really do have to budget…” she cut me off. “Ok thank y—-“ and she hung up mid-sentence.
Bullet dodged, man. Nobody does this hard of a sell, with this poor manners when the hard sell doesn’t work, if it’s legit. (Washes hands)
No benefit to member whatsoever
They called me and left me a message to call them back. When I did I was put on hold for a very long time. They answered and were not able to provide me with anything that proved they would be worth what they tried to charge me for joining. Scam!
The biggest BS I have known!
The biggest BS I have known!! All they want is money and dealing with the Local branch based out of Venice and Port Charlotte, Florida.. Cussing on the message they left on my phone. Saying terrible things! You also can't get anyone to answer at the New York based office. TOTAL SCAM!!!!
Zero stars
Zero stars. Please DO NOT TRUST this scam of an organization. They recruit and have women believe that they will assist women in networking, etc. This is a scam operated to exploit women. Do not pay anything.
SCAM PLEASE READ!!!!
SCAM PLEASE READ!!!!! Ladies please be careful I worked for this association the moment I realized I was helping these people to scam other women I asked the company for a transfer... they contracted a company in Jamaica which I work for, none of the so call membership coordinators are apart of the association, they just get paid to recruit members. We work for a company call Segoso Caribbean and the WWA crooks contracted Segoso. I found out it was a scam when they told me not to write anything down just collect the card and process the payments. I was like so how do will you know what to put in the biographical profiles. Another thing if you gave your cards please cancel them there are laying carelessly in the teams chat where they can be stolen by anyone who has access, it is not secured. They pay good for the sales so the persons there will not leave and justify that they are not scamming the women its the association owners who fails to do what they say they do. We only know its a scam when we analyze everything or see the reviews as we are also made to believe that the association is legit but am no fool. The owners act like their association is real to us as if they think we are stupid. To all the women who I talked into this am so very sorry I did not know at the time, I am so sorry 😢.. I spoke to so many kind hearted women who I really admired, I hope what I did will not change your heart. Please forgive me, the moment I found out I didn't think about the money I would lose I left. 🙏 please stay away from this association.
Scam
Scam, not a group that actually supports women in any way. I filled in a contact application through an Instagram ad that seemed legit and then they harassed me, calling 20 times in one day all to try and sell me a membership that only posts your business bio on their website, they don't actually do anything, it is only a website. So gross.

Odpowiedź od The WWA
DO NOT GIVE THEM ACCESS! Every single year this SCAM…
Every single year this SCAM organization tries to charge my credit card. Every year I email them and dispute the card with my credit card company. Two weeks ago, they called me (asking about this year's membership) and I absolutely told them no! (and what I thought about them). Today (!) they charged me $299 AGAIN! I have already disputed the charge, emailed them and attempted to call them (they don't take calls... shocking..) DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR LIFE!

Odpowiedź od The WWA
Complete scam
Complete scam, and they will harass you. Filled out contact info on what looked like a reputable ad on LinkedIn for women directors. They have called me non-stop since, a call every hour all from different numbers. When you answer and tell them to stop they hang up and keep calling.
Edit: They’ve replied to my review and are just flat out liars, which only solidifies the fact that they’re a scam. Their rep DID hang up on me multiple times, and for several calls I DID say “please stop calling me” and still received phone calls. It was only after I was at my wits end and yelled it practically crying did they finally stop. Any reputable company would look at all of these reviews saying the same thing and look into it instead of saying it didn’t happen.

SCAM!!
I kept getting calls that were the same as the area code as my cell phone, which I ignored because I haven't lived there in YEARS. I then got a call from a New York, New York number and answered it since I was headed there for work and assumed it was related. The lady said she had received my application and had a few additional questions. I THOUGHT this was related to my recent work "Women's Network"application I submitted. I got a work email saying they would reach out to my shortly so I assumed this was then. It wasn't until she said I was "approved" I knew something was off. Then she started talking about memberships and I immediately knew something was off. My work would never ask me to pay $500 or $100 memberships for something they offered internally. She said if i used a Master Card, i got a $50 discount. After she asked HOW i wanted to pay, I said i was clearly driving and couldn't. Then she said "IS THERE SOMEPLACE SAFE YOU CALL PULL OVER TO PAY?" My JAW fell off my face. I said absolutely NOT, it was rush hour. She said then told me when they "closed" and again i knew this wasn't work related. If I had not thought this was related to my work, i honestly may of only had a few red flags, but every single one was BLARING! and based off what every one else wrote, i'm glad i stayed away. I did report this to my job as i thought they were related. But then today i got an email follow up with this name and googled it and saw all the other reviews...
Scam
Good thing I read the reviews and did my research. Scam, scam and scam. I can’t believe it they are allowed to be on Linkendin. I just been getting lots of emails from them but not stupid to fall for it. So do your research and be well informed before you decide to join them.
Total scam
I made the mistake by signing up to get more information …. Today they have called me 8 times a call every single hour their website is so vague you don’t know what the real purpose is now seeing giant red flags how they charge insane amounts on accounts with no follow through helping these women better themselves tells me everything I need to know
