Great expectations truly fulfilled
I love the simplicity of the ordering process, the excellent and prompt service when, contrary to expectations, something doesn’t quite go to plan, and, above all, the lovely packaging. It makes unpacking the parcel a special experience. And yes, the tea is absolutely delicious.

I ordered 3 different hot chocolate…
I ordered 3 different hot chocolate tubs. They arrived in a timely manner. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 tubs seals was slightly open. I emailed whittards with photo and explained the situation. Within a few days I got a response from Sophie who dealt with the situation brilliantly. She was happy to send the order again. Thank you as always on the lovely service.

coffee grinder
I bought a coffee grinder for my husband for his birthday. Beautiful machine. However, it happened to have been packed in such a way that the Bellows were crushed. I contacted Saran, who helped organise the bellows replacement part for me. Well done Sarann! Excellent Customer Service. Thanks again!

I was in Whittard’s in Arndale
I was in Whittard’s in Arndale, Manchester and I popped in as I always do when I come to Manchester. When I arrived I briefly took a small taster of a refreshment provided. The staff however felt like they were almost staring at me. However I took no notice of it as I thought it was just imagining it. However when I took another taster the staff this time had the audacity to ask me how many I had had. They also added a sneaky comment saying that I was greedy and needed to leave some for the rest of the customers. After hearing this I was outraged and immediately left the shop, although I was hoping to buy something. Also, this isn’t the first time this has happened so I had to take action this time. I am incredibly annoyed and can’t bring myself to come there again. After bringing this up to my friends and family it happens that it has also happened to the numerous times. I am completely utterly disgusting and disappointed.

Great customer service
Great web shop, beautiful purchase, immediately repeated my first order - and the second got stucked in an Italian “ponte” (= bridge = one working day between a Sunday and a National holiday, the worse possible logistic black hole in my Country). But I wrote and Sophie just solved the problem immediately. Well done Whizzard of London :)

Positive response to a distribution error
An order was dispatched incorrectly by the distribution centre. Once I raised the issue then it was dealt with within 3 hours and a replacement was sent immediately.
The customer services agent was very professional and friendly.

Great customer service from Saran
When my order arrived one of the products was damaged. Saran was amazing in helping with the situation. Her response was quick, her messages were professional and friendly and the situation was very promptly resolved. Cancelled but email saying still going to be delivered
Last package had spilled out into the delivery lorry. Driver came trying his best to put the teas back into the torn box.
Cancelled subscription back in April. Email to prove it. Just recieved email to say more on its way.
Over the months have tried to sort things out over the phone and never a human available. Poor show for a business. Loved the shop I use to go to before I moved but on line has proved a disaster.

Having reviewed your account, I can confirm that your subscriptions were successfully cancelled on 6 April and again on 23 June. No active subscriptions remain on your account.
The Spiced Chai Tea deliveries you have recently received were not generated by an active subscription. These orders relate to a previous subscription shipment that was short-shipped when the product was temporarily out of stock. When stock becomes available again, our system prioritises fulfilling outstanding subscription items that customers were previously unable to receive, which is why this order was dispatched. OG_04486727 has been fully refunded and the payment will land back in your account within 5 working days.
I'm also very sorry to hear about the condition in which your previous parcel arrived. This is certainly not the standard of service we aim to provide, and I understand how frustrating this must have been.
We appreciate your comments regarding your attempts to contact us and the difficulty you experienced reaching a member of the team. Your feedback is important and will be shared internally as we continue to review and improve our customer experience.

Issue resolved in a jiffy
This was the first time I ordered hot chocolate from Whittard on recommendation.
I was delighted to have received the parcel but one of the canister was damaged.
However I reported it and within hours my query was resolved.
I want to thank Sarann, Customer Service Advisor for prompt reply and resolution of the issue.

Supportive customer service
