The service that was performed was done in a timely manner. However the affidavit that was sent back has been wrong two times. When asked about a partial refund for the inconvenience due to the fact I paid for rush service and was told I would receive the affidavit in 7 business days after the first attempt of service, I was denied my request. The total time I have spent waiting for the correct affidavit is 14 days. Business days is 10. I should have gone with a different company. My issue is time sensitive and I have expressed that many times and pointed out I have paid for rush service. Still nothing is being done. I was told to keep waiting for the affidavit to be filled out correctly and they will send it. Very unprofessional and disappointing service. Will not be using again.

I provided them an old address as a reference for their skip trace. They sent me a report with the same incorrect address. Needless to say, this was of absolutely no utility to me.

I hired We Serve Law for a “Comprehensive Skip Trace” on the deadbeat who sold me a car, filed a fake police report while they “waited on the paperwork”, got me arrested at gunpoint, and then snatched my iPad and keys (and the car!) from impound while I was still in cuffs. I gave WeServeLaw everything: full legal name (A. H. R., because that’s who he was when he committed the crime), DOB, DL number, old addresses, emails, and I straight-up told them in the order form: “he may identify as a trans woman now and may or may not go by Z.” I even said I hadn’t been in contact since summer 2023 and needed CURRENT whereabouts for small claims service.

What did I get? A half-assed report ON A.H.R, that literally says on page 1: “Other People who have used this SSN… Z. R. [View Person Record]” with the exact same last four digits and DOB window. They found the name-change link themselves, confirmed it exists, then sent me the stale, incomplete version anyway like it was a surprise party I wasn’t invited to.

I emailed them back to point out that Z.R. was their trans identity as mentioned in my order, and could they click the link give me the complete report, to see if it had a fresher address. They replied back I would have to pay $50 more dollars for them to click the link and send me the Z.R. report. So I pushed back and told them these two names belong to the same individual with the same SSN and DOB, they should be merged, they hit me with: “We confirmed via email the name of the party… A search on another party will include another fee.”

Bish please. You mean to tell me that all I have to do is start going by a new name to dodge a PROFESSIONAL SKIP TRACER?! Guess so with We Serve Law. They’re really out here trying to tell me that when you transition you magically turn into a WHOLE OTHER PERSON with a brand-new name, even with the exact same SSN and birthday? Insensitive as hell. Lazy as hell. I’m warning every single LGBTQIA+ person specifically: avoid these clowns like the plague. They clearly don’t understand (or care about) our situations and will treat a name change like it’s two completely separate humans just to squeeze out an extra $50 invoice.

I would have been better off getting a subscription to BeenVerified and running the reports myself. But I thought I would get better information from a professional skip tracer. I WAS WRONG.

I’m not even asking for a refund anymore. I’m just here to warn every desperate plaintiff, process server, or pissed-off ex: Do NOT use We Serve Law. Their “comprehensive” search is about as deep as a Grindr bio. They’ll take your money, give you useless outdated info, dangle the rest behind another invoice, greedy lazy f*, and then act shocked when you call them out on their deadnaming nonsense. LAZY, GREEDY, DECEPTIVE, and actively HARMFUL to the community.

Save your coins, queens (and kings and theys). One star. Absolutely would not recommend.

Thank you for the notice and certification unfortunately I received the notification 25 hours AFTER he was served. Your company being in this business should know that timing is critical in service in certain situations.  For some reason I believed per your website and paying a extra $150 this was a expedited service. Was he served expeditiously ? Yes was I notified of service NO . I had to ask 26 hours after payment and wait and wait and wiat.

They won’t return any of my phone calls. We’re quick to bill me, but won’t give me any updates on the status of the serving.

Terrible service. They’re only fast and professional when it comes to taking your money! After that, don’t expect help or accountability.

I provided documents over one month before the deadline for service. When I didn't hear anything, I followed up three weeks and then again two weeks before the deadline for service. Each time they assured me that they were handling service. I followed up again one week before the hearing and they said they needed to check with the process server, but again they never got back to me. I followed up again the date of the hearing and they just never served him. I would never trust this company to serve process ever again.

They came back with address that the person hasn’t lived at for 15 years. This service is a waste of money. I paid 55.00 for someone to do a google search. They refused to give a refund.

I paid for a skip trace and process service in 2024. The skip trace was handled properly — but the process service was a complete disaster. During the scheduled service period, the address in question was under a mandatory evacuation order due to a storm and power outage. Despite knowing the area was completely empty and that service was impossible, the process server allegedly made three “attempts” within 24 hours — and not once did anyone bother to call or email me to explain the situation or confirm next steps.
Instead, I received an automated message saying three attempts had been made and that I’d need to pay for a new invoice if I wanted additional service. That’s outrageous — the company knew service could not be completed because of the evacuation order. I immediately emailed to ask why they proceeded and why no one had contacted me. On October 1, 2024, I was told they’d check with the process server and “get back to me.” They never did.
I followed up again on October 12 and October 20 — no response. To make matters worse, they never even provided a failed service affidavit, which I needed for my court hearing. Because of their lack of communication and professionalism, my hearing was delayed and I had to start the process all over again.
I finally called We Serve Law for answers (October 6, 2025), I was met with an extremely rude customer service representative. After I calmly explained the situation, she dismissively said, “Well, okay — what you want to do now?” When I reminded her that I had reached out multiple times and was waiting for a response, she got even more condescending — and then hung up on me.
This is not how any legitimate company should treat paying customers. The total lack of communication, accountability, and basic courtesy is unacceptable. I will be disputing the charge with my bank and taking my business elsewhere. If you value professionalism, transparency, or even basic respect — avoid this company at all costs.

Knocked three times. I explained clearly they would be difficult to reach. Then they price gouged me. 175 per hour for "stakeout." Should have been upfront and 300 dollars is a lot.

I hired We Serve Law LLC to handle critical filings and service of process in Puerto Rico. What I received was nothing short of negligence:
1. Failure to Deliver Core Services: The core deliverables I paid for—proper court filing, issuance of summons, and confirmed service—were never completed. Instead, I was met with excuses and vague updates.
2. Poor Communication and Accountability: My inquiries were brushed off with canned replies, and when I pressed for answers, the responses showed little grasp of the actual requirements. Their follow-through was inconsistent, forcing me to chase after basic confirmations that any competent legal service should provide proactively.
3. Hidden Behind “No Refunds” Policy: Despite not completing the contracted services, they attempted to hide behind a “no refunds once dispatched” clause. Only after persistent pressure did they offer a partial refund—yet even this didn’t cover the wasted time, energy, and stress caused by their mishandling.
4. Professional Risk: Their lack of diligence and accuracy could have severely compromised my legal case. I had to step in personally to mitigate the damage and redo tasks I had already paid them to execute.

In short: We Serve Law LLC sells reliability but delivers incompetence. Their mismanagement cost me time, money, and peace of mind at a critical legal juncture. If you value professionalism, transparency, and proper execution, look elsewhere.

Invoice #402371: I provided detailed information regarding the subject of a skip trace request. In the request I provided the last known address in addition to other addresses I located on my own using a $5.00 trial subscription from SPOKEO. I wanted more reliable information as I was informed by my process server that the last known address was "VACANT". The information I received related to August 3rd and the subject has since moved from that address. Instead of providing me with a current address, your team simply repeated the information from SPOKEO. Additionally, when I tried to access information highlighted like a link, guess what, THAT INFORMATION WAS BLOCKED. I was provided useless, unreliable data. I'll ENVER use this service again. I want a refund!!!

Highly disappointed. We are a matrimonial law firm in NYS and started using We Serve in March 2025.
Since then process service success has been minimal. Communication is scarce. They do not follow specific instructions, then when issues are raised they claim they will fix the issues, then don't get back to us. When we follow up, they inform us they haven't even tried to rectify the issues. Going in we made it extremely clear what we need in process service attempts, as Matrimonial Law in NYS & NJ is clear. They have failed on multiple attempts to deliver documents in hand, and claim they have completed service when serving a third party. Which is not permitted. Additionally, they agreed to a price with our firm, as we send many cases out each month, they have not been consistent, often required our office going back and forth in order for them to honor the agreed upon prices. We will no longer be using their services.

I contacted this company via email on 05/05/2025 and was very clear that I needed documents returned to our office from 2 different jurisdictions by 05/19/2025. We were given a quote, which was paid on 05/07/2025, and they verified it. Comes 05/19/2025 and still no results. They ended up stating that they wanted to charge for the second location, which they didn't state when giving the quote or upon payment. I stated this to them, and then they proceeded. I got results on the 20th, and this doesn't give me enough time to submit to the government. I needed the documents in my hand by no later than the 19th (and it was told to them in the initial request and then again upon a conversation via email) since the clients' life depends on it. On the other hand, they are very responsive, but I wouldn't use their services again.

Thwy were paid skip trace. They located person to serve. Tried 3 times at residence. They cannot serve her.

I've hired We Serve Law LLC twice now for out-of-state subpoena domestications under the UIDDA. Both times, their communication was quick and detailed, and their turnaround time was within a week. They are top notch! I'm so grateful to have found a service to handle many of my office's out-of-state legal needs. I recommend We Serve Law LLC to everyone.

0 stars would be more accurate. Don’t waste your time or money and go with a different option. Was serving small claims court paperwork and was nickle and dimed every step of the way. The $85 option for 3 to 5 days of service is actually $130 with fees, very convenient. If the address is not accurate, they will charge you $55 to search in their database for an additional address ( no guarantees it’s more accurate or up to date btw, mine was a bad address that THEY provided me) And once that address is ‘found’, they will charge you another $130 to serve it, since each address is an individual charge. If you pay for 3 attempts and they aren’t used, you’re s*** out of luck. In the end I paid more than $300 for 3 unsuccessful attempts, while paying for 6 attempts and not receiving them. Oh, this also took me 5 weeks time, with me sending constant emails to advocate for an update when it wasn’t provided anywhere near the service date range of 3-5 days. Lots of responses like “your satisfaction is important to us, I’ll provide an update ASAP” and then nothing for days or weeks at a timeime. No refunds, no semblance or empathy or an apology of any kind. They ‘Copy-paste’ from a corporate script every step of the way. I can’t understate how frustrating and unhelpful this company was. 0 stars

I had already gone through the sheriff's office and unfortunately sometimes that doesn't work so I was so happy to find We Serve Law. This process can be overwhelming and stressful but this company makes everything so easy.They offered the best price that was so affordable compared to other companies and they stayed in communication with me the entire time. It was easy to send in my documents and get a quote almost immediately. Once the order was made service was quick and effective. Something I had been trying to get done for months was finished in literally a few days. I am so greatful to this service and most certainly will be using them again if I ever have the need. I've already told my friends and family and will be sure to let anyone I come across that needs documents served that this is the place to use.
