Hello to everyone. Dont trust thia company everythink they say its not true. Before i sign the contract with the sales person Robert not sure for surname he promise to me unique number for cashback app which i can refund some money every month and the value of the cashback will cover half of my credit but what happen even tha cashback app dont work with weatheseal for six monts, i did the contract december last year. I had a problem during the instalation about, we dont remove the blind and not fit it. How many people come and go to my home before we sort it out. For me this company or the sales people must say the true to the cuatomers not to lie. I feel now like a stupid. When i spoke with weather sale they said to me yes we dont working with this app anymore, so they now and still offer you for cashbavk app. JUST DONT BELIEVE THEM Just to say about the joyners they done there job properly.

Great experience from start to finish. The promotions/sales boy Bobby who travelled from Motherwell was instantly like a friend, and his knowledge and passion for the product was impeccable. He spent quite some time (partly due to us talking his ear off) explaining about the company and product. The price was obviously a lot more than we would normally consider spending on windows, as we are a young couple with a young baby, but when Bobby showed us the quality of the windows, we were blown away. My fiance has worked on building sites, both budget and luxury quality. And so, could instantly tell that the quality of these windows was outstanding. This was in complete contrast to the windows that were fitted into our home before we moved in. Particularly, the window in my baby sons room was all but useless. Even when closed tight, we could still feel a strong breeze and hear loud outside noise. Since we have had the windows fitted, this is now completely resolved. The temperature in his room, and the whole house (due to a knew kitchen window too) has dramatically increased, which will subsequently reduce our gas and electric bills. I think it is clear that you get what you pay for, and although we are usually extremely frugal and wise about money spending, we feel that this purchase has been a fantastic investment and would recommend to anyone to spend the extra money on these weatherseal quality products as it will pay off in the long term. I would particularly like to commend Bobby who was extremely courteous and professional whilst related himself really well with us. He is still such a young boy but we are agreed he will go well and should receive the appropriate recognition. On that note, we would also like to thank Eddie and Allan, from a Job Worth Doing who fitted the windows. They arrived promptly, worked non stop and fitted the windows quickly and efficiently. There was no debris left behind at all, and in fact, my sons room was even slightly cleaner than it had been! They done a great job! So thank you!

We required a new window to be installed in our kitchen. We have a first floor apartment. If this went as well as the sales team indicated then we would be considering the other windows being replaced

After the measurement the installation team (team 17, Alan and Eddie) can along and took a couple of hours to replace the window. They were courteous, friendly and did a good job in cleaning up after the work was completed. The window was installed as planned.

In these days of jobs worth and not having the right parts it was refreshing to get the right job done on the right day and so far right first time.

From start to finish excellent price very fair for the product i have a long line of joiners window fitters and others in my family all very impressed workmanship fantastic price fantastic service fantastic Price very fair for the quality service and peace of mind very much recommend Weatherseal ! Fitters turned up on agreed date. They were pleasant and left little mess. Unfortunately, they broke a unit so they could not fully complete the installation that day. It took almost 4 weeks and numerous phone calls to replace the unit.
I also had numerous phone calls from the sales team touting for more business after the windows were installed, this was even after I told a few of them that I was still waiting on a replacement unit!!

Craig and Stuart were very professional when fitting our doors and windows, nothing was to much for them.... always left the job clean at night....very friendly and approachable, a credit to their company

Sales person initially didn’t turn up at allotted time with no call/explanation. After calling someone appeared within 10 minutes. After the initial hurdle the sales person was very informative.
The time between survey and fitting was very quick, 3 weeks as promised.
The fitter guy Thomas did a great job. Tidied the mess and even re-adjusted the front door on the way out.
The only negative things, the sales staff kept calling thereafter touting for more business and a small flaw was made to the wall when removing the old window. The plasterer never appeared as promised, which in fairness wasn’t the fitters fault. Turns out some other fitter Sean corrected the issue when fitting another window.
Issues aside, very happy with the door and windows.

Sales person Kyle was very enthusiastic although he does ramble on a bit. Ha Ha.
The two window fitters were very good at explaining what was to be done, got on with the job and finished in a day and a half with minimal disruption. They were always ready to correct any little issues we had at the time, explained about the window operations, and tidied up before leaving.
One window unit arrived cracked but was replaced within the week and a couple of minor problems were also dealt with at the same time.
Still early days but very pleased with work done so far.

Sales rep a little pushy but very charming.. eventually talked affordable price ...
Surveyor was on time.. seemed honest and to the point...
Fitters were a lovely pair.. explained what they were doing and tidied up well after... quick.. not rushed and efficient
Time will tell for any draughts.. it is a very windy corner...

Give them a body swerve, now I have looked at the reviews my experience makes sense. We were met by a pushy salesman who was pretty insistent on us taking them, we reluctantly agreed because of how bad our windows and front door were. Was sold a door with a custom window that doesnt exist. Never asked if we wanted to keep our wood surrounds found out on install day he picked white UPVC. Was told 2-3 weeks to install but definitely before Christmas, this didn't happen. Only installed end of January after one appointment where the installers just turned up and they hadn't even told us they were coming. The entire sales pitch was lies, the door we picked which wasn;t the one sold to us wasn't the door that was installed. Then was contacted countless times about them coming out because I wanted another 2 doors and 6 windows I dont even have that much and then was essentially harassed by sales agents calling me constantly. Then spoke to a manager who said they would send my poor experience to head office with no reply. Am I the only one thinking looking at these reviews that we are all needing to write to watchdog? Think that might be my next point to contact to be fair

Overall we found good and bad parts to the experience.

The salesman told us a couple of things that were not true - said just to keep us sweet.

The workmen were good, but they rushed at the end of the day in the dark, and therefore the final finishing touches were not up to standard.

Worst of all, we have found bad draughty at the side of the door and windows.

There has been no follow-up check, only a number of phone calls trying to sell us more.

Had a brilliant experience with Jamie from the Dundee branch a few months back, very helpful and gave me all the information I needed to be able to make the right decision! Got my windows and patio doors done and they're excellent. Would definitely recommend Weatherseal to others. So good in fact, that I've just agreed to get the last window and back door done, Mark J from the Dundee branch was a lovely young man and very informative.

We got a quote for 12 windows and 2 doors from Weatherseal,
We were giving the quote some serious consideration until they attempted to push us into signing on the day, we told the salesperson that we would not sign on the day as we had other quotes to consider first.
The next day we received a call from Weatherseal saying they had made a mistake with the discount available. Apparently we would be able to get our windows and doors at nearly factory prices and could a manager come to explain it to us. I told them as long as there is no attempt at trying to pressure us into a sale.
Manager arrived with the price and said it was a one day offer only, yet again we explained that we were getting other quotes before deciding as we had explained to their previous sales rep, he then said that the previous sales rep was mentally challenged.
And he said he could give us a better deal and no other company products would be as good quality as theirs.
I told him I had actually seen a better quality and at a better price, he then basically called me a liar saying “I don’t think so” and then asked me how I knew they were better quality .He said that Weatherseal could match then beat other companies by a further percentage. We again reminded him that we were considering other quotes before deciding.
He then insulted my wife, who reminded him that it was our house our money and our decision, he then became very rude at which point I asked him to leave, yet he still sat there spouting his sales pitch. I had to ask him again to leave at which point it finally sunk in that he was no longer welcome and I had to escort him off my premises.
I think Weatherseal need to seriously review the sales code of conduct document, which clearly states “ that a salesperson must leave immediately if requested to do so by the home owner”.
I would never recommend a company that uses outdated, pushy and downright aggressive sales techniques and such obvious unprofessional sales advisors.

Weatherseal you have not sent me a private message so please do not answer a review stating that you have sent me a private message when you haven’t. In fact please don’t bother contacting me at all. I want nothing to do with your company

I have had a very enjoyable experience with this company
I initially had another company out and didn’t enjoy the sales process.
I contacted weatherseal for a price, the sales advisor (kyle york) explained everything perfectly and offered me a fantastic price and
I thought the sample window was of high quality too.
I’ve now had my windows installed by team 26 and I can’t recommend them high enough, right from Kyle and the Dundee branch helping out to the installers doing the job with due care and attention I will definitely be recommending people to use this company

The salesman Jamie From the Dundee branch called to let us know when he would be arriving. He explained everything perfectly and was very knowledgable about the windows we were looking for. Once we agreed on the windows. The process was dealt with in a professional manner and fitting was done by two quality tradesman who worked tirelessly in some of the coldest conditions they have encountered in they’re working lives it was minus seven on the day they fitted the windows but neither of them complained. Would highly recommend weatherseal to anyone

We contacted Weatherseal for a quote for 9 new windows and a door on a house that we are renovating (due to move in at end of March). Our initial experience with the salesperson was OK - the product on offer was a fairly standard doubled glazed window and the price finally offered to us (after a starting price of £22K) was within what we would expect to pay. The sales experience took three hours however- 6:30-9:30pm and by the end (trying to put a 4 month old baby to bed in the middle of it all) we just wanted them to leave. We initially wanted to pay the cost in a one off payment but were pushed into a finance option as we were told that was what most did because it brought the total price down (the lending bank offered a finder's fee) and were assured that we could pay it off in larger lump sums.
Roll on the next day - we realised we had signed up to a finance package we didn't want and had misgivings about the sales tactics used. I contacted Weatherseal straightaway to cancel the contract and received email confirmation that the cancellation was accepted and that we were now due a refund of our £5000 deposit + and admin fee of £349. Shortly after this the salesperson from the night before arrived on our doorstep (unsolicited) and tried to make me change my mind so they wouldn't lose their sales commission. A week later there was still no sign of this refund. I have since contacted Weatherseal three times for an update but received no response. We are feeling desperate as a there is a £5000 hole in our budget (as we expected a prompt refund we went ahead and ordered windows from a different company who price matched Weatherseal).
A week and a half after cancelling we received a visit from a different Weatherseal salesperson (out of the blue - they phoned 30 mins before arriving late in the evening) to sit with us to sign "cancellation papers" - a process which could surely have been done online or over the phone. To add insult to injury this salesperson claimed they could have offered us the windows for £3000 less than what we'd been offered by the original salesperson.
We've been left feeling anxious and unhappy about the lack of progress or updates on our refund and would never approach Weatherseal for quotes again in future.

UPDATE - 30 days later and still awaiting refund

I'm still waiting for last Wednesday's courtesy call to check all was well. Oh, it wasn't. It appears that despite having these mail problems, nobody thought to send a test mail to both addresses. This would, at least, give us all an idea of a fault somewhere in communications.
Could we try this, and finally put this to bed. By the way, have any of the alleged vouchers been cashed? Just a thought.
I'm actually starting to look forward to John's next reply.
Here's hoping.

I was really impressed with Dundee Weatherseal branch. Michael came out at the start of the year and really explained everything well and I was very impressed with the quality of the windows. The installers were very professional and even hoovered up after themselves! I was so happy with the work I ordered more work to be done So my house will be finished. Would definitely recommend
