Contacted watch doctors via email to get my seiko divers watch repaired as it had stopped working. They replied with an estimate of £105. I sent the watch off to them for repair. A week later I received a cost of £212 to repair the watch. I understand that parts are possibly needed but if I knew the costs were going to be over double the original estimate then I wouldn’t have sent the watch off in the first place. I’ve refused for the work to be carried out. It’s cost me £20 in delivery fees and I’m no better off.

Came back like new

Just got my Rolex back after a full service and plexiglass replacement. It looks like new!!! Fantastic service as always with a quick turn around under 10 days. Thank you absolutely delighted. Martin

Excellent service, prompt inspection and estimate quickly provided. Turn round time for my Tag Heuer was 3 weeks. Half the price of a certain London based company. Returned in hard case with bubble wrap just as you might expect but not always the case with others.

Have just this moment received my watch after repair, just wanted to say thanks very much for a fantastic job and fast, efficient service. From initial quote to completion Watch Doctor service is exemplary, friendly and efficient. The glass has been replaced and now the watch looks like new, a quote from a High Street chain was over twice that of Watch Doctors. I was kept informed and updated throughout the repair. Very well packaged for the return, even snuggly enclosed in a soft pouch. I would use you again and thoroughly recommend your company, thank you so much.

Excellent service from the Watchdoctor team. My Superocean Breitling had not been working very well plus the winder had become loose. The service to send the watch is very easy. I now have my watch back and once again in full working order. I would thoroughly recommend these guys. I have used Breitling authorised dealers but the service was not the same. Sticking with Watchdoctors for the future.

Highly recommended. I took my vintage Rolex Explorer in as it had stopped working. Really friendly and helpful staff - repaired it with guarantee and refurbished it sensitively so as not to diminish it’s value. Work was done for less than I’d been quoted by others and I had it back a week later when the postal services were estimating months. They do the repair work on site- which really makes a difference.

Very good comms, quick repair to my GMTII bracelet at a price MUCH less than all other accredited repairers I contacted.
Now sending my wife's watches for repair/servicing.

I have a watch with a broken winder, and contacted Watch Doctors. We had the following email conversation.

Them: "We have the pleasure in providing you with an estimate for a replacement plain button and stem at £42.00"

Me: "Are there any likely problems that would cause your price to increase?"

Them: "As long as there is no damage to the movement and a service isn’t required."

Once they'd received the watch, their estimate came back at £242, as "service and repairs necessary as movement is rusty"

I asked "Please provide an updated quote for just replacing the broken winder."

Updated quote came back at £77 for the repair they'd previously estimated at £42.

My conclusion - they're either dishonest or incompetent. In either case, I suggest you avoid.

The whole process was slick, the service and communication great and the cost affordable - at half what the watchmaker and other vendors were quoting. My watch looks like it is new - gleaming and now works as it should, with a 12 month guarantee. I will certainly use them in future and will be recommending them to my friends and family.

Wonderful customer and highly skilled technical staff - took a Omega Speedmaster in for advice on general service and bezel refit - they refitted the bezel - cleaned, buffed the acrylic screen and advised no service was necessary - Then said it was free of charge - I drove thirty miles to this store - I now know why - not because I did not pay - I offered - but because they run an excellent honest service - I will be back for Rolex service .

Great service and their customer interaction was second to none. So polite and helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them. They managed to replace my strap but keep the branded clasp after finding the manufacturer stopped producing that watch. Repairs done quickly and returned with a good price for the service. Excellent and would recommend to others, and will use again myself.

I am absolutely over the moon with my 18 year old Citizen ecodrive watch after Watch Doctors fitted a new crystal and ultrasonically cleaned the expanding mesh strap/bracelet. My watch looks like new again! Wonderful work!

My wife's titanium 30 year old Seiko dress watch had stopped working. I sent it to Watch Doctors, got a quote on the day they received it and back within 2 weeks, in time for her birthday. It's the second time its been to them - every 10 to 15 years sounds fine to me!

After initial online enquiry i sent my watch for a battery change, reseal, clean and polish along with option to replace a faulty clasp.

Upon arrival i was quickly sent a repair estimate, works are only undertaken when you are happy and agree cost to authorise.

Great service all my questions were answered both quickly and accurately.

My watch arrived back to me with a new battery, genuine replacement clasp and fully polished and cleaned - it basically looked like a brand new watch.

Arrived less than 24hrs after dispatch very well packed and presented with certificate for seal.

Almost a five start review. Tudor watch was polished well, link removed and a new glass put in and then presented back to me in a nice suede pouch, all good so far.

It nearly ended in tears though. the watch pin on one of the shoulders hadn’t been fixed properly and not picked up in quality checking before handing back to me. I only noticed it when I got to the car and had another look.

Had I have worn the watch straight away it would have flown off my wrist and caused serious damage!

Anyway apart from this a good experience
