I was having issues with a refund not going through even though it showed as having returned to them safely. From when I first contacted them about the issue to connecting with a service rep to the refund going through was less than 10 minutes. Thank you Customer Service guy Perttu!

Solid Surplus Company. Great quality items, speedy shipping (a bit pricey, but you're getting good stuff from Finland). Some of their SARMA items are a bit expensive, but their quality is unmatched--you get your money's worth.

Near perfect: service and customer care

Concern: going from 209,99 to 299,99 overnight (for an in stock product) is not because of index or inflation. If this becomes the new strategy, that might cause customers to change their mind about correct pricing.

Har beställt vid tre tillfällen - inga problem med betalning eller leverans, så jag kan inget säga om deras kundtjänst när saker inte fungerar. Mycket nöjd med produkterna, i sht deras merinohood - köpt 2 var till hustrun (171 lång, normalbyggd - bra passform på medium, extra long) och mig (190, normalbyggd - bra passform på large, extra long) Väskan, vantarna och mössan verkar bra och chokladen bitter och god.

It's a criminal offense to give these guys anything less than 6/5 stars. I've been a loyal customers for a while now.

I've ordered a lot of surplus over the years, sold a lot of it, too. And by far these are the best folks in the business. They sell quality products at prices that are fair. Not cheap, mind you, just fair. You get what you pay for with them and usually that is top-shelf used or new surplus. I've gotten nothing but praises about the bags and coats I've ordered from them. Even folks I don't know will ask where I got my Romanian breadbag.
Varusteleka puts SportsmansGuide and other similar outfits to shame with their excellent customer service and commitment to superior quality. The one return I've needed to make with them (pants just didn't quite fit right, more my problem keeping on a diet than anything they did wrong) was processed swiftly and with zero fuss or run-around.

I have about a dozen orders from this company under my belt, and every one has been a huge success. Great customer service, great products, realistic descriptions (rare in surplus) everything has been A+ ... I would not be surprised if the negative reviews are from competitors, or deranged customers, as I have never found anything to fault them with. (Once I received a pair of damaged surplus SWISS pants, and after a few quick emails they fully refunded the purchase, and let me keep the pants) When you factor in shipping, their prices are very competitive, especially for European items. Do not listen to any negative reviews posted here, they are wildly unfounded. I would say that of the dozens on military surplus outfits I've ordered from, Varusteleka is easily top 3 in terms of product price, and likely #1 overall. (Pro tip: Stock up on dark Scho-ka-kola!)
