Not the best i am afraid !
Large hole dug out to replace a manhole. Crew left at 3pm and never came back for a week, leaving my vehicle blocked in on the drive with no notice at all. I contacted united utilities to find out when the crew would come back. They came next day, looked at the manhole and said they could not complete the job, as the manhole was about 5 inches above the actual road surface ! They reported this back to base and another crew came to rectify the high manhole problem, and filled the hole and put tarmac down. Done in half a day, but the signs, cones and traffic lights are still in position, meaning that i still cant get my vehicle off the drive because of this. Nearly 2 weeks now ! NOT GOOD.

Fantastic Service
Contacted UU after a stone blockage was identified by an independent drainage engineer in a carrier pipe. Initial experience with the contact centre agent was excellent and a job was raised indicating the high possibility of flooding. Received a text within 2 hours of the call advising that a team were on the way. Engineers arrived shortly after this, got on with sorting the problem and kept me informed of what was happening. Had to return a second day to complete the job and again kept me informed and arrived first thing the following morning. Excellent service from start finish.

great service for a water company
Been with united utilities for five years. Recently had an issue with a very high bill due to lack of regular readings and they resolved it very well. Also called following a drain survey that identified roots, and they were out the same day to resolve. Call centre staff are always very nice
