Reporting low water pressure
We had a long standing issue of low water pressure ant home. After a call to UU a technician was sent, agreed, and arranged for a team to replace stop tap in footpath. They said this may not rectify the issue and it didn’t. However straight away, further excavation was arranged to improve the connection to the main. This was carried out within a day and the water pressure has been greatly improved, better than ever. All footpath , road, kerbs etc. made good and tarmaced. We can now have more than one appliance on or use.
Throughout this process we received phone updates, text messages and emails keeping us informed of the works at every stage. The customer service staff, technician and all the contractors were friendly, very helpful and professional. I know water companies rightly get criticism for sewage discharges etc.. but I’ve got to say this domestic service is very good and if you have any issues I’m confident that you will receive a responsive and responsible service.

Waste of time even trying to speak to customer services every time.
I'm on a water meter and every month I submit a reading and make an online payment likewise. Nobody can give my any clear answers as to why one month I pay £26 and the next month I have to pay £42 for using roughly the same amount of water I use each month? This is the same throughout the whole year. The prices can chop and change for no reason? Sometimes I even go away for 2 weeks at a time and I turn my water tap off, and the water board will still charge more than what they should for half a month and water that I have not used? I have been speaking to a lady at work who's is also experiencing the same issues with this waterboard. I think it's totally wrong that they can charge what they like and not be held accountable for it?

We had a problem with a water bill…
We had a problem with a water bill which seemed excessive. We had also had a leak. UU reviewed our bill and gave us a rebate on the water leak. They also replaced our old water meter. They were very helpful throughout.
