This company no longer exists and is in receivership. I have £1500 in my deposit and plus when I hired nothing worked but no one cared.

****WARNING***** don't use this scam company. They will take your deposits then go bust. They will then set up an new company and start again. They need shut down and held accountable for scamming honest people. Hidden charges like TV licence, administration fees and early collection fees even tho they asked me to pick up early as it suited them.

You've been warned

Do not use this company and note that they operate under several other names as well (National Motorhomes, Motorhome Hire, Motorhome Express). Our motor home was substituted with a van 6-7 years old and we listed 40 faults, 20 of which had health and safety implications. We had a broken indicator, the van broke down twice and we had no hazard lights; we were at risk of scalding, burns and puncture wounds due to faulty items inside, to name but a few, and the whole van was very shabby and decrepit. We took legal advice and quoted the law in our complaint requesting a 50% refund and refund of out of pocket expenses. They took their time getting back to us and we had to post the complaint as well as email but they did agree. However, we never received an apology or any indication they were bothered about the issues and had to make constant follow up contact to get our money - it took about 3 months. This company should not be trading on this basis. Unfortunately, they and their sister companies have an almost complete monopoly on national motor home hire. I think unlikely we will have this type of holiday again but we will go with a regional/local company having checked reviews if we do.

Total shambles of a company. I'm still owed my £250 deposit 8 months later and just found out the company is in administration. Because it's over 120 days even the credit card dispute process cannot be used. Avoid at all costs. I'm sure this lot will pop up again with another name in a few weeks time. Be very careful about these fly by night companies!

After seeing one of their great limited time only deals I Booked a hire with this company. I then read the reviews… THANK GOD I DID, I cancelled immediately and was told I would be refunded, been chasing since only to be told now their filing notice for insolvency. lucky I paid by credit , I have contact my bank and they have refunded my deposit and they are dealing with them now..
Note to all, always do your home work and read the reviews on a company before booking…
My fear is they will just start up under a different name with the same scam!

I have hired a motorhome with them. 1st they charged in double for the deposit. I did a complain and they said it was my fault, which it was not. They have refunded the double payment some time later (took long). Later one I claimed my refundable deposit back £ 1,250, and they claim insolvency. I'm really disappointed as I need this money and paying interests in other bills due to this.
I do not recommend this company, and hope authorities close this company.

Disgusting behavior for a company to ruin peoples holidays. Should not be allowed to continue to operate and have so many names.

My bank are investigating them for fraud as per other comments on here.

There are probably more online trading names that I have not had the time to research yet, when I do, I will update this review.

I booked a Motorhome at the beginning of December for a four night hire in February, through Motorhome Express, I even had the booking confirmed by e-mail which told me I had to book a telephone interview with them, to talk to through my booking details with them, which I did.

Two weeks later, I received an e-mail from their Hire Administrator reminding me to 'CHECK IN' but when you try to do this, you get linked to a new webpage "HIRE CHECK IN" and this message THIS BOOKING HAS BEEN CANCELLED "Due to ongoing issues, we are unable to process credit card payments nor deposit refunds at this time. Unfortunately due to this situation, Unbeatablehire is filing notice for insolvency."

Then a list of things to do to attempt to get your money back from your card company.

I had not even heard of Unbeatable Hire Limited and there is no mention of the parent company on the booking website, and if thats not bad enough, considering they claim to have filed for administration, they are still trading and I can even make a booking online today through every one of the compaines trading names.

I notice within each email I received, there is also a CC recipient to this link "emailtosalesforce@24x5j9rtle79r77cpibtghbuv. in.salesforce.com" and I have been receiving this same e-mail every for the last 17 days, all with the same result.

I am not the only person that has booked a Motorhome and after the money has been taken, have received an e-mail informing them the hire has been cancelled.

TOTAL SCAM and in my opinion the company is trading fraudulently and ripping of the credit card companies (I paid by credit card so get my money back) or if you paid by debit card, rippin off YOU!

There is even a 'RIP OFF Britain' video hosted by Gloria Hunniford on youtube which gives you an idea of this company and how it treats its customer, in my case it looks like they gone to a new scam.

Paid for a weeks hire in JULY 2019 with my Credit Card, PAID over £1300 including refundable DEPOSIT, Hire period 4th Nov to 11th Nov 2019. Contacted company today 19th Dec to seek my deposit refund (you are asked to wait 28 days), only to be told the company has filed for Administration 11th Dec 2019.

This is what they say: Due to ongoing issues with our merchant card provider, we are unable to process credit card payments nor deposit refunds at this time. Unfortunately due to this situation, Unbeatablehire is filing notice for insolvency.

refunds: make a claim as soon as possible, as your card issuer usually needs to start the chargeback process within 120 days from when you made the transaction or when you were due to hire the motorhome.

the date you paid the money and how you paid it (over the phone or online)
a detailed description of the services you paid for (e.g. motorhome hire) and the hire collection date
what has gone wrong - the company has filed for administration
You should notify your card issuer of the insolvency practitioner (Antony Batty LLC)

I don't believe they are filing for insolvency, it's just part of the plan to help them steal our money, because that's exactly what they've done. £837 of mine!

I have filed this with Action Fraud and the crime number is NFRC191203379957.

As far as Companies House is considered the company status says ACTIVE.

They have creditors of close to £15m, yes FIFTEEN MILLION because the vehicles have a charge on them which is an "investment scheme". Look on the Companies House website - it's all on there.

My bank is looking into this fraudulent activity and I'm expecting them to recover my money.

I have never had to deal with a company this bad, as they have now filed for insolvency chances are they have been trading and asking for deposits while being in a precarious state.

I personally I have paid them £183 for a rental in December. I am lucky that i hadn't paid the deposit or Waiver which i would have also probably lost.

Feel sorry for the families that have had their christmas spoiled / disrupted/ ruined by the business practices of Unbeatablehire and their associated companies.

The Motorhome Express website is still up showing vehicles available to rent for the period that my cancelled booking is for.

Waited the 28 working days for my refund today only to receive email now saying that they have filed for INSOLVENCY!
Luckily paid with credit card and going through the motions now to claim my money back.
Been shambles from day one!

Worst company ever! Avoid at all costs, struggled to get my deposit of £1250 back, had to lodge a complaint through my credit card company even then it took from July TIL November to get my deposit refunded! Cannot get through to talk to anyone & kept on the online chat for hours & still can’t get to chat with anyone! Do not use

Just as the review below we also have had a text message telling us our motorhome has been cancelled due to a recall of a faulty one! We were using it just after Christmas! Funny how they continuously call and hassle you telling you how good the deals are. The lady on the phone (calling me from a mobile) went through the sale of hire so quickly she barely let me ask any questions. No no response from the mobile and she wont reply to any texts.
After i went online and saw all the extras that you need that are not included (unlike most hire companies) im glad they have cancelled as we have now gone to Abacus Motorhome in Andover who couldn;t have been more professional
Now sitting and waiting online for a chat person to become available - what a awful company.

Booking Cancelled BY TEXT 10 days before hire about to commence. Having difficulty making any contact in relation to receiving a refund. - No response to emails / 18 in que on web chat. This is a very different story to when they were requesting money - Immediate responses and prompt customer service responses.
Presently I am owed £585!.
