After submitting evidence on a defective product that I bought 3 years ago, they, in good faith, reimbursed me.

Brilliant website, really informative, great selection of products, competitive pricing. I genuinely think this is the best outdoor gear online store out there, its clearly written by people who use the gear and know their stuff.

Used UOG a few times now and every time dispatch and delivery has been super quick and the gear has been exactly as described. I'll be using them regularly!

The product was better than expected. It was more robust and easy to handle even though it is small. The proof will be when i have used several times.
I also found it easy to fill with gas lighter fuel. Many thanks for a worthwhile product

Avoid this company at all costs. Sold me an MSR Elixir 2 tent that leaked from the top and bottom. I tried to return it for a refund (within 30 days) and they instead sent it back to manufacturer for "testing" and found "no faults" and tried to blame my competency for erecting tents. Bear in mind, I never claimed it had a defect, I said I wanted to return it because its not fit for puroose..... I slept in this tent, as I have with many others, and I can tell you it is NOT waterproof. I've had to contact trading standards and initiate a chargeback through my bank to claim my money back because Ultralight Outdoor Gear are refusing to refund for my completely useless leaking tent I am stuck with. Absolultely abismal customer service from Jamie Mantle who is rude and brash.

Honest company product reviews made selecting items easier. Good value and speedy free delivery.
What's not to love?

Great product choice, great service and arrived in the mail to NZ in good time

Have been buying from UOG for years and never have reason to go anywhere else. Tons of choices, lots of good info (being able to sort by weight!), cheap shipping, and fab customer service.

I bought a gift certificate for my husband, very easy transaction.

I received damaged rucksack from this company and they charged me for shipping and return.

I spent about £1k with this company on a tent, sleeping bag and a £90 air mat. After one very careful and light use, the air mat was punctured. Ultralight Outdoor Gear simply refused to repair or replace it saying 'it's not guaranteed'. I highly recommend avoiding this premium-priced but sub-par customer service company.

This is my main go-to site for camping gear. They have an exceptionally large range of items, and I hardly ever find things that are out of stock. Shipping is always very quick and their prices are generally competitive. They give a LOT of information about each item, which is really useful. Customer service is also excellent; I recently placed an order for a new tent that I needed the next day, and only realised after placing the order that I'd missed the cutoff time for next day shipping. I called them up and spoke with Lois who was really helpful, calling their warehouse to get the order in with that day's shipping. Very happy with that! I've bought a lot of high end stuff from them like Hilleberg gear (they have a huge range of Hilleberg tents and spares) and Helinox chairs, and will continue to use them as my primary site for camping equipment.

I had bought things from this store several times before and was very satisfied with the result. At check-out, the UK VAT was reduced and then the local VAT and posts administration costs (21%+1.20 euros in my country) which I had also expected and like I paid for the previous orders. Unfortunately, the last order - the backpack was delivered via French Chronopost, which imposed all sorts of other fees and administration costs, which I was not informed about when purchased the product. As a result, the final purchase price of the product increased to an amount that significantly exceeded the alternatives in other online stores. In addition, in case of non-payment, I was threatened that the product would be returned to the seller and I would have to pay all (who knows how many) costs for the return. If you order a product and in the end, you don't know how much it will cost you, then the seller is unreliable.
