Ive made many orders from ULoutdoors over the last year.

Shipping info and communication are good.

The 'our take' section on each product gives useful insights that go beyond the manufacturer's blurb. It often helps set expectations and explains what to expect from the product.

The weights they post are always accurate, although be careful if your ordering larger sizes as the posted weight is often for the smallest version.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from Ultralight Outdoor Gear.

I contacted them after a power bank I’d bought stopped working after about a month. Bex replied very quickly, apologised for the problem and immediately arranged for a replacement to be sent out, with no unnecessary hoops to jump through or lengthy returns process.

This is exactly how customer service should be handled. Friendly, efficient and genuinely helpful. It gives you a lot of confidence buying from a company when you know they’ll look after you if something goes wrong.

I had an issue with some Darn tough socks which were padded and that wasn’t in the description. I emailed and was contacted back very quickly offering a refund and the website was immediately corrected. Excellent customer service, this is how a company should be run. Thank you

Lois, from the support team agreed to honor the advertised price and i made a purchase.

Prior to this purchase (couple days ago), i left an item in basket so i can come back to it at later day (the mentioned chair) and since i am new to camping and hiking i thought i phone and ask for suggestion and guidance.

The staff that took the phone call and helped me by providing information; were very kind and patient. they even offered to prepare a selection of items for me to try in their showroom.

Overall, friendly people work for this company. i will buy from them again in future. i got the feeling that they enjoy their job and are happy to help anyone.

I ordered a head torch which said a charging cable was included. When it arrived, there was no cable because the manufacturers had changed their spec without letting the retailers know. When I contacted customer services they sourced a cable and I received it the next day. Very impressed with this level of service.

If there is any chance you need to return an item, I wouldn't get it from here. I ordered multiple items and none of them are not the right fit and need to return them.
I paid for 1-2 delivery - which arrived late and have now been told it is up to me to pay a return - which will be over £20 due to the size box it has arrived in. I called to ask for help and I was given a blanket no. It was not clear on the website at all that this would be the case.

Ordered a few things from Ultralight Outdoor Gear in the last 2 years. A couple of items developed faults and they were really good to deal with. Made an effort to resolve things – really helpful.

In my opinion that counts for a lot. So I'll probably check them out first next time I need to buy something they sell. Thanks for good service.

I ordered a Helinox One chair from Ultralight Outdoor Gear the day before a canoe camping trip. Despite the short deadline, the item arrived on time with no drama. Unlike the preceding week where Amazon had taken 5 days to fail to deliver. Ultralight Outdoor Gear were also £3 cheaper than Amazon even with next day delivery before 1pm. They are now my go to for outdoor gear.
