My wife got "pre settled" status on 10 Sep 2020, and ever since, we have been calling UKVI because her BRC never arrived. We called dozens of times, raised the "BRC hasn't arrived" form as instruced several times, also filed complaints and did everything they asked. Still, no one would resolve the issue, and the BRC is nowhere to be seen.

We recently used this service. I understand that biometric fee is part of the application fee we paid. We uploaded our document but could not find a free appointment slot even in the Core centres and there is a deadline to book a biometric appointment otherwise your application is rejected. And we are not going to call a Pay-service for advice. The only appointments available are paid appointments which we do not need voluntarily. I do not think this is not a deliberate business tactic. It seem really unfair to rake £100+ from thousands of applicants this way. Whose interest are vested in Sopra Steria? Where is the profit going? Is this another case of people being treated as inferior to a fair / due process?
Any way we are going to book a paid appointment. Yes we will let the Home Office/Sopria Steria exploit us - deliberately or otherwise. Sad.

I just kept refreshing the page at midnight to see what happens to new appointments added each day. Surprise! Surprise! at exactly 00:00 no appointments available for the next day. It is just a scam.

This service used to be charged for around £20 in your city hall or local post office and appointments were available within few days.

Now this service is the exclusivity of UKVCAS with much less service and cost up to x30 more expensive. no appointments available within 4 weeks at least and prices managed like airlines do.

There is only one way to describe this: ORGANISED DAYLIGHT ROBBERY

Everything has already been said, but I thought it was useful to join the chorus of disgruntled users. The fact that you can't book ANY appointment within 4 weeks is utterly unacceptable. This has nothing to do with Covid-19. Sure, perhaps one or two centres had to temporarily close because of a Tier 3 situation, but the vast majority are open and operating at capacity (which is explicitly mentioned on their web site). Is the UK some kind of third world country? Isn't it supposed to offer a minimum of administrative services to its residents and citizens? There is no formal way to complain about this, and I can only imagine that Sopra Steria will tell the government that the outsourced service runs smoothly. I just hope someone in charge of that outsourcing contract checks Trustpilot and sees what appalling situation the country is placing its residents/citizens in...

I have been trying to book an appointment since yesterday night(3rd Dec) and they are already booked for all the appointment centres I could search for.. for the entire month until 30th Dec!!!
Terrible.
When I called customer service for which they charge money, I have to wait for over 10mins. When I got through they say they are totally booked except for one premium lounge for which they asked for a payment of over £500!
I said I would rather wait for slots to open and they suggested to keep trying cause it gets booked pretty soon.
Its just a money making technique.

The home office has sourced out part of they work to a company called Sopra SteriaUKVCAS which is absolutely in Short is exestuation, I think it is disgraceful as its very clear to me these people want to exploit people for more money offering enhanced ,Vip,Lounge etc etc.Its just a money making business which is wrong and should be stopped.

this is bad service ever i had in my life , they want to collect the money from you , any one konws how to make the complain and need to stop them

Long story short. I paid £70 for the appointment to support my application with the evidence during which the agent did not scan any of my additional documents saying they had everything they needed. I was surprise to hear that, but did not question the response trusting their professionalism. I couldn't be more wrong. Fast forward a month, I got an application refusal letter claiming that I had not provided any of the evidence I had available during the interview. When I complained to Sopra Steria, I was told that 'the agent doesn't reconcile with my version' and refused a refund. I have requested a review of my complaint from the Home Office and am waiting for the response. Nevertheless, I have to reapply (£66) and book another appointment with Sopra Steria again all by 22 Dec 20 (£135).

I am utterly appalled by such low standards and negligence of the company whose purpose is to facilitate the process of submitting important documents that have a crucial impact on citizens' lives.. and sadly as taxpayers we pay for this circus.

Submitted 4 application 3 for uk citizenship application and one for ILR. All since mid July, I got email to say that no need to attend appointment and IDV APP will be sent in September so waited 2 months IDV was sent during this two months people who applied on September attended appt got their visa submitted earlier then myself and also got their irl.
I am waiting now 4 moths and recently I received a reminder to book for Appt I contacted this rubbish company only to tell me I do not need the letter was an error - my application time scale is 6 months which will be in January I am waiting but it is disgrace

Absolutely rubbish and helpless. Provided a horrible app with uncompleted functions, no update on the application status. Nothing. Have been waiting for 2 months. What a funny service! We have paid a lot not for this terrible performance, Home Office.

Terrible! Horrible, £69.99 to £200, over one month for the next avaliable appointment date. The same service was provided by the post office before for £21.50, all you had to to was walk in and pay.

I was on the phone for over 2 hours being charged and no one picked up my call.

please call Sopra Steria direcly and complain on their free number 0370 600 4466.

this company charges over £100 for appointments that are meant to be free already included on the Citizenship application. They get away with it saying that they have free appointments but these free appointments are like gold dust. Maybe one per day. It's ridiculous they carry on like this these thieves . Time to take this company to face the music and make official complaints to official authorities

SOOO bad app. I submitted all my information and I couldn't check the statute. After half month, I received an email that they told me they didn't receive my submission. Now I have no idea how to submit again because the app shows I submitted but they email me I didn't submit. What a rubbish app!!!!!!!!!!!

This company is nothing short of criminal. Trying to apply to have biometrics taken for “free” eu settlement application.Even though i have a valid u.k visa and biometric permit at the minute,no free appointments whotsoever available. They stated a while ago that old biometrics used to confirm identity on the ukvi app could be used. Now they are trying to force people to pay £110 for a service that used to cost under £ 20 ? Absolute racket ! I am shocked ,after all the negative reviews they are allowed to get away with it !

Sopra Steria doesn't deserve even a single star for their service. As other mentioned in their comments it is indeed a scam and worst service one could experience. Spent hours in the calls waiting for someone to answer. Standard music with a message is ''No agents currently available''... Hopeless.. i have posted my query but no response. Home office says they have no control over appointments.. Not sure whom to reach to...

The company is completely scam and I am not sure how in the planet earth the UK government as authorised the handling of immigration services on behalf of them!

According to the legal law and guidelines it should have been straight forwards but unfortunately they charge each individual people ex amount of money for a 10/15 minutes appointment to submit your biometric data to home office. Again for an example their should have been 5 available appoint for free at various location and 3 chargeable appointment and 2 premiums so that is ten appointment. But what happen they make you pay for all the appointment you put get no free available appointments at all anywhere in UK.

Also they have charge me first time for a biometric appointment on 30/7/2020 and I submitted my data and my application got approved and than they have send my BRC card on the post and that got lost and the home office don’t give any responsibility about it at all and made us to make another application for lost after two months pay again for a biometric appointment which we have all ready paid £200.

We are in 21centre and why can they not use the recent biometric data was submitted to them!? They simple charge people and ripping immigrants off .

Where is law and order in place and is there really anyone interested to read this reviews and get to the bottom of this !! Not at all unfortunately and nobody is care about the immigrants people !!

Honest answer ! I used sopra enhanced appointment yesterday at Peterborough, staffs were friendly however they won't let you stay in room whilst they scan your documents due to the drama caused by govt' s cronavirus . You don't know what they scan and under what category. E.g. I am missing my b 1 test certificate in education option when I checked online on sopra website . You can't view documents after submitting your documents and application . So be careful when you use such service . Good luck .

Full of corrupted people in the VFS centre in Bangladesh. They always try to mislead you. Most of the case they don't have proper knowledge about visa immigration services. Security guards work there are very rude. they really don't know what is there job is. Very disappoint. Nepotism is actually existed more in Asia than anywhere I guess.

I submitted my photo through their useless IDV app, yet no response received. My original ILR application back in April and no update whatsoever from them.
They milk us, and they are the winners
