Excellent service from Said (security) and Gabina from the main office

They just want to take your money. An evil company that partners with the Home Office hostile environment. They would and do take food from a baby.

Absolute rip-off. I paid £180 for biometric appointment and the treatment I received is shocking and they don’t provide even a chair to set on. It is part of the government policy where foreigners are just a fair game and a milking cow. Still charging extra £ 51 for scanning my documents. £230 is enough to pay for five stars hotel where they treat you better and provide you with meals. Disgusting punch of thieves

Simply, 3 years ago i was able to give my biometric with my family in my town using the royal mail office. It cost me only 19.20 for each person. Today I had to travel 80 miles to be able to give my fingerprints and it cost me 672 pounds. RUBBISH SERVICE. Stop stealing our money.

Seriously, they give appointments wich is 199£, it’s ridiculous, how they operate, scammers

I tried to contact them to get an appointment because I got problem in my phone, the lady answered me her name was zainab, she was very racist & I answered her all the security questions, she closed the line on purpose, I paid almost 20£ to call & at the end she close the line.
All what I can say why Home Office let such rubbish people deal with us.

They are thieves and unethical. The phone support workers are unhelpful at times or sympathetic with your pain and sad they work for this evil scam. SOPRA Steria is rip off company for the UK Visa.

I lost money om the application and appointment. They are taking advantage in the pandemic. 75 quid lost. Now had to rebook in Croydon for 122. Oh and I if I cancel they keep the admin fee. Making money from this suffering of people who need an appointment. This is not the Home Office. This biometric used to be free and done by Post Office and now Scam sopra Steria has stolen from the UK people and poor immigrants.

Totaly rip-off. I paid £138 and spent over £17 on a phone call just to try to get an agent to explain to me why I didn't receive a confirmation email for my appointment.
I don't know how this company are allowed to carry on business?

A complete rip off. Last time we paid £20 at the main post office for fingerprints and photograph, for our biometric card. Now its outsourced to STERIA and milked ... "premier lounge", "VIP Service" etc etc, and hundreds of miles away! scum-bags.

I am very disappointed with the service I got from ukvcas for the BRP appointment. There are no appointments up until 28th April. I stayed awake until midnight to not lose the free slot for the core services but guess what? There is no such thing as called free appointment as they are charging you for core, enhanced and premium. The minimum cost is £71 for a free appointment!! Are you for real?

Extremely poor and i would not recommend this service to anyone. It is a new low that undermines the good work of the home office and allows everyone to paint them with the same incompetent brush.

Is this a fraud? Have I just lost £1400 and my chance of getting citizenship? There is no way of getting in contact with them as they charge phonecalls and have huge waiting times. Disgrace!

UKVCAS is one of best service provider, they really offer excellent customer service and i gave them 5 star

reason I gave them 5 star is I recently applied my ILR and contacted them over the phone and I was given excellent customer service to make sure my IDV App that I used was correct and because I uploaded all my supportive documents to UKVI through this wonderful app, and I finally got my positive result from the UKVI.

I thank here whoever had produced the amazing IDV App during this hard time were in the Covid-19 crises.

I wish I could rate the whole visa application process zero. Despite covid, the NHS surcharge was increased to £624. Visa costs for me was over £700. You are forced to pay the biometrics cost of £19.20. So after coughing out £2700 for my daughter and I, I thought that was it. I had a major meltdown when I discovered that the only available spaces for biometrics involved a payment of either £276 or £398 for two of us. This is really unfair to immigrants. I pay taxes, I do not get any benefits yet every year or more, I fall deeper into debt due to this visa renewal process.
Not only is this greedy of UKVI, it depicts the wickedness and hypocrisy that is common with people in this pandemic. Publicly they claim that 'we are all in this together' yet privately, they come for you like shylocks demanding their pound of flesh. I have never regretted leaving my country as much as I did today.

There is no available free bookings and you are forced to pay over £100 for something that the application said is free.

I've been trying to find a free of charge appointment by accessing the portal at 00:00. Sopra Steria are fooling the public by stating on their website that core service points have a mix of free of charge and paid appointments. They only release paid appointments. When questioned via email, they do not answer to the point. Instead they give you the same generic information which you already know.

UPDATE:
I managed to book a free of charge appointment over the telephone(0330 123 1199). I called at 9 am and was told that free appointments are added each morning and not at 00:00.

The worst servics ever i have submitted and attend appointments . After one days i have recived call from uckas that home office has recall your passport. I have booked other appointment and submitted agian biometric and pictures. Yet agian i have recived call to submitted biometric agian . I am frustrated and disappointed. Very bad service

Extremely poor service by Sopra Steira. They have designed the appointment system to frustrate people into booking very expensive paid appointments. Unfortunately the Home Office is looking the other way as they are saving money on reduced effort and man power and the extra fee is going from the applicant’s pocket.
