While the scents may smell good, dealing with the service is not worth it! Very expensive and their customer service is virtually non existent. Cancelled my subscription and will never purchase again.

I am extremely disappointed with the Pura car diffuser. The product exploded and leaked all over my car. Causing significant damage $300+ damage. I followed all the user guides kept the diffuser out of direct sunlight and did not use it after it was in high heat which is all that is in their terms of use. Which is impossible to find on your own on their site.
The real kicker, however, was the appalling customer service. I reached out to them multiple times to address the issue, but I received generic, unhelpful responses each time. It’s clear they have no interest in standing by their product or assisting their customers.
Save yourself the hassle and avoid Pura car diffusers. It will damage you car for such an expensive car product the company’s lack of support only adds insult to injury. I regret this purchase completely and will not be buying from Pura again.

Worst customer service. While placing the order, they changed my shipping address from what I entered based on my PayPal account. Even minutes after ordering, they were not able to change/help with the order. They shipped using USPS with whom, I am not able to change it pick up. Such a waste of time and money. Would never be ordering from this predatory company.

I recently had an issue with my Pura Car Freshener after about a year of use. Despite trying to update the diffuser multiple times, it completely stopped working. When I reached out to Pura's customer support for help, the experience was extremely disappointing.
After several back-and-forth messages, they simply told me that they couldn't replace the filter because it was out of warranty. They expressed regret for my experience but offered no real solution to my problem.
For a premium brand, I expected much better support. The lack of assistance and resolution was very frustrating. I would advise potential customers to be aware of the poor customer service before purchasing.

I was so excited to try Pura diffusers in my house but when I was trying to set them up (after several calls) I was told that my residential internet is too fast!?! (I have Xfinity). So I can’t hook them up online which means you can’t put them on a schedule or know when it’s time to replace them. Make sure you check your internet speed before buying.

No matter what “troubleshooting” I do, I cannot set a second schedule, nor a second scent.
It consistently says”Conflict schedule”.
I’ve even had friends that have a PURA try, and even they can’t set a second schedule.
I’ve been trying for two weeks! I give up and will not recommend purchasing one.

My Pura worked great out of the box! But when it was time to install the new fragrance is was awful. The unit no longer would connect to WiFi. The light was solid green meaning it should be connected?! The app is 80% trying to sell you more. I've heard nothing from the company and there bold promises. So I have expensive junk. Terrible service

I always wanted a Pura and my kids saved their money and bought me one for my birthday. I opened it and used 2 of the cartridges it came with, but I noticed that 3 others were missing a little code sticker that is required for them to be used. so they were worthless. I contact Pura and explained the issue and asked for replacements, but they denied me. They said I needed a order number. I explained it was a gift and they again denied me. What a horrid company. save your money and avoid grief. So disappointed. I hope they reap what they sow.

These are garbage. First device worked two weeks and then would not connect to our internet (we are a tech savvy house and have no other issues with other devices) they shipped another one. This device has lasted a little over a month and again will not connect. Waste of time and money.

So frustrating. I cancelled my subscription because I don’t need them all the time. Now I don’t have access to my account to manage the run time. How does that make sense. And of course no way to reach anyone just email.

Don’t work after 3 purchases! Pura products are in expensive home goods stores and are 80 each! The refills are running for 18 each. I sadly, bought 3 of these and only one works! The store wouldn’t exchange. I can’t update the app and they keep saying “offline”. I will never buy a product like this again. Nowhere online or the app does it offer easy solutions. Driving me insane. I’m done.

My review is not about the service but the actual product. I can say without hesitation that this little device is an unfortunate waste of time, money, patience and sanity. We are a device friendly home but keeping this little nightmare working and on schedule is a very frustrating part-time job. Just buy a regular plug sans app/smart schedule and move on with your life.

I have four Pura diffusers and enjoyed them for almost a year, until they changed the scent settings on their app. You could previously choose a level of 1 to 10. Now, you can only choose three levels: subtle, medium, or strong (and even the subtle is too strong for some oils). I’ve emailed their so-called customer service on multiple occasions and get a generic answer that this new setting is to give the user more flexibility. What a joke! My diffusers are now sucking through one fragrance bottle per week, even on the lowest setting and diffusing intermittently instead of all day. They used to last 2-3 weeks! Obviously it’s a gimmick to sell more fragrances. I will be selling all of my diffusers on marketplace, and resuming diffusing essential oils, which is much more cost-effective.

This company is a rip off! Never received 3 shipments via USPS. Pura says they can’t help with this issue. Reading reviews, this is a common issue!!! Are they really sending out product? Such a rip off and NO customer service. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THEM!

I have to agee with what everyone else is saying. Wouldn't take my return saying is wasn't in the 30 day window. Being a new customer, you'd think they would take the return instead of getting a bad review.

I bought this device over a year ago (July 2022). It worked alright for about 6 months. Then I noticed that the scent was not very noticeable. I turned up the strength of scent; I still could barely smell it. I've tried other scents, same thing. I contacted the company, they sent me their smelliest scents as a test. Unfortunately I can barely smell them even at the strongest level. I've had the device for over a year and a subscription. I think I bought my Pura through Nest, so Pura said they can't verify the warranty. I want to say its a very expensive device that only worked properly for a few months. My sister-in-law has the same issues. I'm very disappointed. I do not recommend.
