Disappointing, impersonal company
Disappointing company, do not use. Refused to pay for my laptop theft on a technicality even with a police report and clear evidence the property was stolen.
Despite their 'sorry you've had a bad experience' reply below, the adjudication letter was sent in record time and was a simple repetition of the decision to refuse my claim because the burglar didnt smash my door in. Unlike the claim which they took over a month to respond to after asking me to provide a ton of additional evidence, like a picture of me holding a passport and all correspondence with the police, which I sent.
There are loads of better, more human, gadget insurers out there, I suggest you look for one of them instead. Oh yeah, and always read the terms.

The firm promises a 48 hour claim process so your not unduly left hanging without your important gadgets. It's now been almost a full week and I've heard nothing. Unable to work without my laptop and claim status still at processing stage.

Been without a phone 2 weeks!!!
We invest in insurance for assistance during times of need, expecting a stress-free process. However, this isn't the case here. A proficient insurance company handles matters promptly, avoiding unnecessary delays. Unfortunately, this company requests unattainable documentation, such as "proof of usage" or "proof of ownership" in PDF format, which Sky Mobile doesn't provide. Despite having relevant order details and bills, the insurer, Taurus, insists on challenging the claim. I have contacted sky who themselves said they would approve the claim with all the documents provided.. It's advisable to seek insurance elsewhere, preferably through your phone provider, for a smoother experience. Been nearly two weeks without a phone, the document upload process is inconveniently problematic, persisting across various devices and browsers on multiple attempts. I am far from satisfied!!

Best insurance I've ever had
I have had insurance for three gadgets for a couple of years now. Have had to claim about 3 or 4 times overall and it has always been the most straight-forward, stress-free process with the claim almost always being instantly approved. It is also extremely reasonably priced for the peace of mind it gives you. Highly recommend!
