Needed to take grandchildren off policy tried phoning no reply requested a phone back waited 18 hours still no call. Went on app used virtual chat sorted within 5 minutes

The APP is very hit and miss
The APP is very hit and miss, having to sign in daily and waiting for an authorisation code is a nightmare. Very slow response for a code and often times it’s self out. Not impressed so far at all

HOWEVER l was also promised a paper copy with the important details which were Important to me .

The price was very competitive compared to other providers and it was very easy to purchase compared to other providers. Haven’t had to claim from them yet so that’s why I haven’t rated it 5 stars.

Very easy to use
I only marked it as 4 because I added cruise cover to my quote, and it did not tell me the amended cost. I had to go back and find it on the quote.

Excellent experience
Very good experience. Very easy to take out travel insurance. I ended up having to claim following missed ports on a cruise. I’d taken out the cruise cover as an add on. I got through to customer services very quickly and they were really helpful. I’ve received a response within 3 days saying my claim has been approved etc. I was very impressed .

Claim sumbitted via the app on the 20th…
Claim sumbitted via the app on the 20th of March. It's now the 17th of April and I still haven't heard back from them. Chat via the app seems to be unmanned. Don't waste your good earned money on this insurance.

Brilliant, logical layout and easy to navigate app.
Can update medical conditions easily via the app.
Or if you prefer, telephone very helpful Customer Service (with callback request) and at no extra cost unlike some other insurance companies!
Once the Gigasure "card" complete with QR code is added to your Google or Apple wallet, everything is there at your fingertips.
'Gigashield' protection for flight delays and baggage loss is another fantastic feature at no extra cost. Highly recommend Gigasure.
