Great service from James and the guys…
Great service from James and the guys at TrackHat. 2nd time I have ordered from them. Performance of the latest sensor is great, only gripe is the product case feels a little "non professional" ... 3d Printer like. I suppose the costs would be higher if the case of the sensor was more "Logitch" looking, if you know what I mean. This should not put you of buying from the guys though.

ordered twice, nothing ever got delivered. ordered tracked delivery the 2nd time -it never got tracked, no tracking info sent, and no reply from the guy.
I had to become "one of those demanding customers" to get any action-he refunded me.
Still no clue where any of my orders are. The product may be decent, but the service...there isn't really any.

Forget about terrible customer service.
There is no customer service.
Wanted to cancel my order because of information their mobile site doesn't give you. Several messages and weeks later, with no answer to any of my messages through any given channel, the product was still sent. I think I'll end up keeping it just to avoid having to send them any more futile messages. Doubt they'd even answer court summons for the fraud accusations that I've half a mind to start making.
Terrible Customer survice
Bought a trackhat early part of the year and worked great for about 6 months. Tried to get in contact as the on switch just stopped working and its not powering on but not receiving any response from James for nearly a month now. Initial email sent on the 08/06/21 with many follow ups sent. Still waiting for a reply as of the 27th.
Don't waste your money
I ordered the trackhat clip Pro everything was fine until one of the infrared sensors stopped working. I emailed James and explained my problem he told me to return it for a full refund. I sent back everything that came in the box. Once James received the item he told me I couldn't get a refund as I have had it over a year he also told me what the problem was so I asked for a replacement which he told me I have to buy a new one but I can have a 5% discount. I asked James to sent me back my original item 3 weeks passed no sign of my item so I emailed again James said I should have it shortly so waited another 2 weeks again I emailed looking for my original item and my reply was its not in his possession and he never received the item. So I guessing he fixed my broken item and sold it as a new item.
Save your money and get trackir much better build than what this fraud is offering
Never Recieved Item or a Refund
Writing a follow up review from my earlier post.
I ordered in the first couple days of the new year with the advised delivery of 1-2 weeks. I patiently waited about a month before getting worried (signing into the account to check order status reported no orders despite having taken my money).
My attempts to contact them (with the auto reply stating a response may take up to 5 business days) all went unanswered (I had sent at least 5 emails over a month or 2 period).
Finally I got a response probably 3 months in claiming the order had been shipped and should arrive shortly if not already. Aside from that there has been no other attempt to rectify the situation. No further questions or response of any kind.
I ultimately had to dispute the credit card transaction and once approved around a month later the merchant had 45 days to respond, challenge, or assist with the issue.
There were posts I found online (had to really dig) claiming the worldwide supply of PS3 Eye cameras had run out and as such the company was going out of business and would issue refunds to anyone with a pending order.
I never recieved their refund, or any communication / offer of one. There was no further contact recieved by myself or my credit card company, and as such I finally got the official refund about 5 or so months after the fact.
Oh yea, still haven't recieved the package in the mail... It's been just shy of 6 months since I placed the order.
Take from this what you will, but don't say I didn't warn you!
Very good product
I'm writing this because there are so many bad reviews on the products here. I ordered the product something like Christmas 2020. After about five weeks it arrived and I could try it out. For me, the product works great and I have a lot of fun using it. I think the reason that there are mostly bad reviews here is that the many people with perfectly working products don't write a review. Who writes a review most likely had a problem with his/ her product. That's why I wouldn count on the rating that it has here, since in most cases, it`s most likely that everything works fine. And with the waiting time, I guess you just have to be a bit patient. Maybe think about what I said here if you think about buying the product. Have a wonderful day : D

(Clip Plus) Velcro wasn't sent with the order. Very annoying. Have to go out of my way to go get some now.
Also make sure you make an account before you order or you won't know what status your order is in because they just ignore you when you ask.
Waited 5 weeks with no idea if my order was shipped or not only to find out they didn't send me the full package lol.
I ordered a product through them
I ordered a product through them. James told me 7 weeks due to Covid. I waited and 8 weeks later I emailed him to find he had not shipped. I live in South Africa so he told me to pay extra for private shipping which I then did. Then 3 weeks later I email him and he says he has not shipped it but would do it soon. He then says he shipped the item but can not provide any proof of this shipping and then tells me he did not use the private courier. I am certain he is just stealing peoples money now and suggest no one uses or buys from this company EVER!
Paypal has not refunded me either for the product but I did manage to get refund for private courier. I still have no product and James does nothing and no replies.
Awful company to deal with
Awful company to deal with. Non-existent communication with its customers, and painfully slow time to ship a order. I understand the Lockdowns have been tough on businesses in the UK, but if you dont even communicate with your customers at all or in a timely fashion, you have just lost my business. Not just me who is reporting this, take at look at their facebook page and here on trustpilot. Why don't they stop taking orders if they are so overloaded? Why can't I track my order on their broken stone-age website? I have been waiting 2 weeks and it still hasn't shipped and have opened a support ticket with them a few days ago to cancel my order. Nothing heard back from them yet, but if they do not cancel my order I will be disputing the payment with my credit card company. TrackHat has lost my business because of this, Im going to get a DelanClip. SHAME on a "company" that operates like this. Nothing but complaints from other customers not receiving reply's to their support tickets. I really wish I could recommend this company to others, but if this is how they operate with their customers, then goodbye!
Great concept, terrible product and non-existent customer service
I bought this product December 10th and received it on January 6th. I followed the instructions provided to set up the tracking hat with the Playstation camera. The hat never work. I have tried to contact James at TrackHat using their support email system and received one response on the 8th but have not had another response from them. Great concept, terrible execution and non-existent customer service.
Order never received
I've ordered at december 17th. Via Paypal they said they dispatched the item on january 8th, but i've never received the order. If you log in it says I haven't ordered anything. You never get feedback of them. It will probably end up in asking my money back via Paypal. All in all a very bad experience.
I bought a headset on Dec 20th
I bought a headset on Dec 20th, 2020 after it didn't arrive by the middle of Jan I contacted them and they said they had no knowledge of the order but funny enough had taken my money on the same day. I have stupidly bought another one and when I try and contact them its an automated service with no other way of getting in touch, they are quick to take your money, you could have had a good business here but your customer service is shocking....avoid at all cost

Just awful. Nothing has arrived, more than a week and still no one replies(even though it says you have to wait 3-5 days before you get a reply..), I had to ask PayPal to refund me unfortunately. definitely the worst buying experience I've had in a long time. apparently they only know how to fulfill orders and take your money.
Do yourself a favor, get something else.
Buy TrackIR instead and do yourself a favor
Not as good or as easy to use as TrackIR5. I had to download opentrack software directly and use it because the trackhat branded version they include doesn't even register LEDs from their own hat. You can forget getting any customer support or responses when you contact the company about shipping or product issues. Spend more money and get a nice product.

October 6th, 2020, only get a reply it takes 3 to 5 days for a response. then never hear from them again this was my letter via email, I placed an order on Aug 1/2020 for yourTrackhat. I did not receive Trackhat until October 1/ 2020. I could not get to work on my pc, so I was informed If I returned in original packing I would get a refund. I mailed Trackhat back on October 8th, 2020. As of Nov. 5th, 2020, I have had no refund. So SEND A REFUND OR SEND BACK THE TRACKHAT THAT DIDN'T WORK, BACK TO ME. My original PayPal ID #IR534693WU7241337 transaction. I am really upset with your group for a slow reply and action. Beware if you buy as they will not respond. if I could I would take away the 1 star

i received my trackhat (wired), camera and camera mount the other day, ordering little under a month before to my knowledge, which is great given the current circumstances of the world. The trackhat works great for me no issues whatsoever. Feels very sturdy and the camera is great upon initial use in Arma 3 i noticed a slight fps drop but after changing the camera refresh rate to 60Hz and restarting Arma 3 there was no issue at all, although that could very well have just been Arma being Arma. In closing im exceptionally happy with the purchase and the time in which it arrived to me.
3 weeks and no reply from TrackHat
After 3 weeks, 2 emails I still didn't get any reply so now I will do refund, I will guess that it's scam.
Trackhat malfunction awful service/answers
I bought a Trackhat in december, it nerver worked well, the applicatiin is awful and suddenly it stopped charging. I contacted customer support and we agreed to send the brocken trackhat (I pay the cost of delivery) and we will refund me the money. The Trackhat arrived a couple of month ago, he confirmed but no refund, we I have asked what has happen now he states that he has not received it... total disaster of in service issues. I WILL NEVER RECOMED IT
