On Tuesday 14th April 2026 I just received the external hard drive but when I try and open any episode of Home and Away it says couldn’t be opened. The file isn’t compatible. I tried opening it on my Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 and my MacBook Air M1 2020 but I still get the error message on both laptops so I would like a refund?

I wasn't happy with my order so I emailed. No reply at all. Not impressed. It's been weeks so can only assume they never will. Don't use this company

This is a terrible company. I don't believe for a second that they are based in New York. It's clearly a tw*t in his bedroom recording off the tele. I ordered 2 DVD's. One of them had the wrong disc in - a TV recording of a completely different programme. Probably an illegal pirate copy. I have emailed twice and have had no response, no refund and no replacement DVD. Absolute crooks. I wish I had researched the reviews before giving them my money. AVOID!!

Not impressed, Took a while to come had to chase for tracking, figured fine things happen asked for tracking and was sent over, i'd Ordered two series, one is missing discs, contains blank discs & discs have been altered with marker & covered in finger prints. I am fully aware what the product was when I ordered just expected the simple bits to be correct.

SCAM ALERT. This company is a total fraud. Many of the products they offer must be knock-offs as certainly not legally available. Even if they had them. But they don’t. Paid my money, then nothing. No dvd, no email, no reply to numerous mails to their ‘help’ line. I even got a number from my cc account, called it and they immediately hung up.
DO NOT SEND MONEY. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Well, the saga actually resolved in a pleasant manner, they eventually came back to me after many emails and stated that they would refund me for the blurry discs.

They did and as a result I think I must eat my words in this case, although a bit slow, which often happens with small companies such as this.

So, not to be avoided, certainly based upon my experience but certainly be a little more patient than I turned out to be and hopefully this small company will become a little quicker in dealing with queries snd requests.

Wanted to buy 2 older dvd's, searched and found 'The Stress Store', very aptly named.

Couldn't pay on their quite useless Web cart so, someone called Cheryl, from The Stress Store pointed me to a different Web address to complete the payment. I will post the Web addresses of the associated companies on a follow up review so that people know they are connected to perpetrate their fraudulent activities.

The associated company is called bestbuypresents.co.uk - the person called Cheryl is associated with this company as well.

Paid for the 2 DVD's and in due course they arrived - counterfeit of course, blurry, no subtitles, etc - pictures on the outside of the case are correct. Fit for the bin!

Contacted Cheryl at the Stress Store- she lamely said she couldn't find the order ....oh dear, could I provide the full address- yes, done that ...... no further contact from the Stress Store- AVOID like the plague.

Bought the Spender DVD and it doesnt play. Its a copy disc. I want a refund and theyre not responding to my emails. Scam company. Well named the stress store!!!

I gave this rating because the delivery timing and communication was very poor. The dvd was expected to arrive on Thursday to Saturday on one week but it actually arrived on a Saturday a week later with no explanation for why it was a week late.
I sent thestressstore.com some emails to check on the delivery but I had no answer. I thought I was being scammed.
Luckily the order came today so I was happy about that and it was exactly what the description said it would be.
So it wasn’t a scam after all.
The communication and delivery timing were suspiciously off so probably won’t be using thestressstore.com in the future again

Incomplete tracking details ,I wasn't even sure I would receive my item.
Emailed a query over chasing up my order ,I received a very short email response a couple of days later "has it arrived yet ?".
When it did arrive, the dvds and case were copies !
Avoid !

I've been looking at a video they had listed for the last couple of years and finally had some spare cash to treat myself for Christmas, so ordered it. They sent me a confirmation email of the order, took my money, sent an email stating they'd dispatched it, but it never arrived. I have emailed them to tell them I'd not received it, but they haven't bothered replying.

Obviously scammers..!

It would appear that they have another website called 'Found That Film' so avoid that as well..!

Website says 28 locations. But only three are listed. They all have the same address in the USA which is “Broadway, New York, NY 10036, USA” the phone for all three stores is 555-555-5555. All prices are in British pounds. Emails to customer service have gone unanswered. FAQs questions are different but the answers to them are all the same.

I ordered Remembrance Day as I was in the navy and it is a film based in Union Street Plymouth and a group of sailors. The box arrived with no DVD in it. So annoyed as I was really looking forward to seeing it plus thy have ripped me off for nearly £12 which isn’t a lot but so annoying !!!!! Money go my complaint. Don’t use this company

I ordered a box set of Big Deal. 1 of the discs in series 3 was a duplicate of the final disc. I emailed them and received another disc. Same problem. Since then they just don’t respond to my emails. I e been in contact with my bank to get them to refund. I’m not paying for faulty goods. Reading most of the reviews it seems they’re a rip off company. Taking hard earned money off customers and sending out faulty goods.

DVDs sent are clearly copied from originals so therefore pirated and illegal. I will ask my credit card company to refund for counterfeit goods sent.

I read the reviews of this company and took too much notice of the negative reviews and voiced my thoughts as I was interested in a bundle of dvds of for the love of dogs Paul o Grady. I tentatively ordered it and a man called Charlie personally took charge and sent it to me personally.i commend this genuine man. I’ve received my order.played one and are very happy. Please trust this company as they are genuine.

No customer service Silence No dvd arrived.

Although sceptical at first due to some reviews, I was delighted by the offer to have the DVD first and then pay for it to show me how genuine this company in fact is. Good quality DVD saving me 75% off ebay as it is a rare find and not streaming anywhere. Recommend ++

Order DVDs when I received the DVDs and played them some of the DVDs didn't load to play and other ones would freeze in the episodes. Contact the seller and was promised replacement DVDs discs and now I am still waiting for them. And it has been months since l was promised the replacement ones. Now you send email to them and you don't even get a reply from them.

I ordered 2 copies of My Hero,a 2000 Scifi Comedy which is very hard to get a copy of. One 5DVD set arrived,but one DVD had the wrong Episodes on them.
I have sent numerous emails,but the silence is deafening. Still waiting for the other Set.
So have put in a claim to my Credit Company for a refund of the Second set.
As previous people have stated they are counterfeit copies and their after sales service is non-existant,
So I recommend not dealing with them
