They do not respond to emails, Opayo payment is rubbish it does not work with Visa, when you email bestbuypresents.co.uk they just ignore your emails, several times I have emailed them with this problem and they can't even be bothered to make a response. Very poor customer service

Fraudulent website, Wrong DVD sent in contradiction to the offered

I found a dvd i havent seen for many years. Well packaged, quick delivery. Customer Service is excellent highly reccomended

I recently ordered a dvd remembrance as it’s filmed where I live I. Like many others thought it was a scam website as I kept getting pay my invoice by PayPal which I emailed to say I know longer wanted it after reading reviews and i wouldn’t be paying my in voice to which I got an email off Cheryl asking for my address as she was going to post it to me free of charge on Monday to prove they were genuine she kept to her word posted it which I received Wednesday which I’m very grateful for thankyou very much I will be using you again in the future for dvds I require

EDIT: Score has been amended to 3 stars for the following reasons: I was able to pay later as they give you a paypal (I still never use it) invoice via email later and accept payment that way which they explained once the order was properly placed & paid for is because they're a rather small business and they are trying to make their website better designed but it will take a while due to needing the resources to do so. I guess the negative experiences others had might have been simply due to some of the staff members behaving badly as opposed to actual maliciousness from the company. Hopefully the bad eggs got sacked, which may be the case as they did indeed deliver my DVD within a good time and I have it now, which I say is a job well done.

The score is only 3 stars instead of 4 because the "order now, get invoice later" thing is still dumb and with the new website, they will likely be getting a more standard "order now, pay at same time" system like other sites. So the critcism is more constructive this time.

My new recommendation that overrules the original one in the old review preserved below: It can be perfectly safe to use this site after all: I suggest waiting for their new site to come but they gotta fund it somehow so you can still use the current one anyway. Just do so at your own risk.

Original negative review (out of date. please refer to edit above): I just bought a 101 Dalmatians the series DVD but when I selected my payment method, it wouldn’t let me input my card details so when I went to pay, thinking it would open another menu to let me enter them, it didn’t do that and there was a payment error. I tried looking at my order to try and add my card details but I don’t see an option to in the menu.

I don’t have an account as I only needed to buy the one thing so I shouldn’t need to sign up just for that. I don't use paypal or any of that crap either and never will.

Sent an email to customer services to cancel my order at 3:52 PM GMT and as of posting this review I've not heard back. From what others are saying, it sounds like a scam: from not recieving their item to having to fight with paypal to get a refund, to the site claiming the customers' problems with them are their own fault, all of this paints bestbuypresents in a very negative light and I regret trying to buy from them at all.

The other reviews here giving it 5 stars and praising it, posted suspiciously around the same general time as the negative ones sound a lot like people who work for bestbuypresents planting them as damage control.

I bought a dvd from this company. Nd I simply never received it. No way to get in touch with them. In my opinion this is a total scam. Don’t waste your money…avoid st all costs.

Bought two DVDs of TV series I couldn't find anywhere else, arrived quickly, very pleased.
The buying process was a bit odd though, my order went through but without putting in any card details. Later I received an invoice, which I then paid. Like others on here, I did wonder if it was some sort of scam, but I wanted the DVDs and decided to risk the few quid, and all was fine.

Went to buy an item on this site but was a bit suspicious. Created an account but never went through with the purchase. I received several emails from Paypal asking me to pay an invoice which looked very authentic. I never clicked on them!

This looks like a scam company, bought something 10 days ago still haven't received or got a tracking number or anything to suggest it has been posted. Being ignored by customer services. Keep away from these people unless you want to throw your money away. They should be sued, this is theft

Looking for an old TV series which was not available anywhere, then I found this site. They are completely transparent about the origins of the DVDs, very quick to respond to queries and my order arrived within 48 hours of payment being taken. Given the origin, the quality is really good and I’m so pleased to have this series at last. No doubt I’ll be checking out the other DVDs on offer. Very impressed.

Made payment through PayPal - was ghosted from that moment on - despite emails no communication whatsoever. And obviously no item received.

Awful company! Awful customer service, provides blag tracking numbers and when you ask for the right tracking number you get abuse and they say its the.customers fault! Had to open a case with PayPal to get money back I questioned the company as to why they can't provide the correct tracking and they just keep making excuses up! Even when they say they have got a number wrong in the tracking they still won't provide the right information! Says been sent out but won't provide the information. At.First claims its the buyers fault but then once send the screenshot of the tracked item clearly says different then claims to have the receipt in there house but won't send a copy of the said receipt!.

I found this website by chance when I was looking for a rare DVD box set. Because it's a new start-up company it doesn't get much traffic yet, and I thought it might be a scam. However, after exchanging emails I placed an order and was sent a Paypal invoice, so I took the risk, and I'm delighted I did. The company is completely legitimate. I received a box set and an individual DVD today. Reasonable prices, fabulous customer service, what's not to like? I highly recommend this site, and I'll be buying from them again. They have the DVDs most other sites don't, and not at all expensive. Thank you bestbuypresents.co.uk. Very pleased to have discovered this site.
