Terrible so far!
We ordered a receipt printer and cash drawer for next day delivery. We ordered on 12th May and they didn't turn up until 23rd May. This was far too late and had to order from another company. I've asked about returning the items and had an email saying they needed pictures of the items. I responded saying I hadn't even opened the package, no response. I opened, took pictures, still no response. You've emailed saying how did we do? Hopefully, this will get some kind of response and a refund.

Hi Paul, I do apologise for your frustration at the delay but our website clearly had the printer in stock and the cash drawer showing as out of stock - available to back order. Had you contacted us prior to purchase we would have been able to advise a more accurate lead time. From the date you placed your order on our website on the 13th May, to the DPD attempted delivery on 23rd May it was 10 days, again if at any point you were frustrated at the delay you could have called our customer service team who would have been more than happy to assist. On 27th May you e-mailed in to request a return and were responded to within an hour to ask for the photos, we do this to ensure the original packaging is intact and so we can issue an RMA, to which you responded to on the 28th May. Unfortunately you didn't receive you RMA number straight away and I apologise for this. We have now rectified this and as a gesture of good will we will pay for the return carriage. Please don't hesitate to call our customer service team in future if you have any urgent requirements.

Most helpful company to deal with.........
Approached several barcode printer companies for help in finding a hardware and software solution for bespoke label printing. Only company that really engaged with us and worked with us to find a solution was the Barcode Warehouse, in particular, Alessandro. He was very helpful, involved other members of the team in different specialist areas and, most importantly to me, answered emails and did what he said he wa going to do. Misleading Product Info.
Wanted to check the specifications of a *MOBILE* printer, specifically asked about whether the cable was in the box to charge the *MOBILE* printer or whether it was a standard USB-C, was told I would indeed need the specific cable and adaptor to charge the *MOBILE* printer.
On receipt of the *MOBILE* printer and charging cable... it didn't come with a battery! So not exactly as *MOBILE* as one would expect, I can go about 1.5m.
Battery cost adds 29% to the cost.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience of you not being able to use your mobile printer out of the box. We obviously do not decide how manufacturers package/bundle their products.
For your reference, some manufacturers do this as many people mount mobile printers on vehicles and power them with a battery eliminator accessory, rather than a battery.
We get information from our website from various sources and sometimes things like this are not made clear from the data provided. Frustratingly, if you look at the Wi-Fi model, we have manually added in this info. The Bluetooth model you purchased had just been missed. We're very sorry for the oversight but this is a manual process and we cannot physically edit the descriptions for all of the products on our website.
Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. The web team are sorting and ensuring that any others in the Brother range are enhanced.

Bought a zebra printer from them
Bought a zebra printer from them, but was sick, so didn't open the box until day 8. The printer is faulty and doesn't work, but they won't provide a refund because we didn't report the fault within 7 days, which is illegitimate. Support refuses to email and keeps circumventing our request for a refund, they have no care for consumer rights. Do not use barcode warehouse, buy direct where you actually get support. Still waiting on a refund and reply. Case 29894.

Thank you for your order of a Zebra printer for £124.99 which was ordered on 20th November and delivered to you the following day. We are very sorry that you are unhappy that you cannot return it for a refund because you state that it jams and disconnects. You did indeed do this outside of the 7-day period but that is not the issue.
You cannot buy directly from Zebra so have to buy through value added resellers such as us. Unlike many websites, we do offer free of charge technical support for any customers experiencing issues. It is very hard to help via email, hence why we have tried to call and book in a call with yourself which you have refused.
We are a business (as are you) and you have purchased this printer for business use. We do not sell to consumers. We have terms and conditions of sale which you agreed to when purchasing the printer.
The printer does work (i.e. is not dead-on-arrival) and if you had been willing to speak to the after sales technical support team, they may have been able to quickly talk you through some steps to avoid the problems you are encountering.
As stated, the printer comes with a 2-year warranty which means you can send it back to Zebra for a repair if needed. We are obviously happy to do this for you but, again, you just want to send it back which is not possible.
Please feel free to call in if you change your mind about wanting some help in calibrating the printer or sending it back for inspection and (if needed) repair.

Great Product Knowledge from recommendation to tech after care
I had a really good experience firstly with Carl in the Sales team, then with Glyn in the tech support team.
We recently moved to a parts tracking system for our busy warehouse and needed a label printer so we could use barcodes.
Carl was really knowledgeable during the initial sales call and promptly got back to me with a competitive quote, discounting the price on the website for the bundle.
Upon receiving the label printer Glyn in the tech support provided exceptional service helping me set up the wifi connectivity on a couple of the laptops in the office and talking me through some settings we needed to configure.
Printer is exactly what we needed and the service has surpassed my expectations.

Slow Repairs Service
We usually have excellent customer service from The Barcode Warehouse, including on-the-phone tech support which has been helpful in the past.
However, we had recently bought a Zebra ZD421 for commercial use, which had serious software faults after only a few uses. On returning the device, we were told we would have to wait 28 days for repairs to be actioned, which has left us in the lurch during peak season for our industry. Our request for a loan was denied.

Thank you for your review and we are glad you have found our free technical support offering of use in the past.
Thank you also for your order of a Zebra desktop printer via the Royal Mail printer promo. You placed this order back in January so the printer was outside of it's DOA period and was to be repaired under the manufacturers warranty. You have given us a 2-star review as you are not happy with the manufacturers estimated turnaround time which we have to give as a worst-case. We do not have a slow repairs service ourselves.
Just to be clear, we are acting as the middle man free of charge in terms of sending back your device to Zebra on your behalf. You would have been able to do this yourself and this would not have made a difference to the estimated 28-days quoted.
We fully appreciate that some people do not want to be without a printer in these events and so sell many upgraded/extended warranties both from the manufacturers themselves and also our own offerings.
On the promo page you would have seen, there is the option to take out our 2 year upgraded service (which would have given you a loan printer while you wait) at a special rate of about £30 which you did not take us up on.
We shall keep you updated on how Zebra get on fitting a new mainboard to your printer under their warranty.
Also, if you mention this review, we would obviously be happy to make up for this inconvenience by selling you a discounted printer to use as a backup to cover you in future.
