Most staff are very rude very and unprofessional. They all extremely unhappy unhelpful
Very upsetting as I spent lots of money every week there as is close to my house and you get treated like that .
Excellent service and kindness!
I ordered home food delivery for my 94 year old Mum on the 31st August 2026 (TQ148HE). In the comments, I request the driver bring the delivery into Mum's kitchen and put it on the kitchen side for her.
This evening her driver 'David' not only delivered her food and put it on the side for her but asked her if she wanted him to make her a cup of tea! What a wonderful, kind gesture. My sincere thanks to David for the kindness he showed to my elderly Mum - thank you!
The air still tastes of acid rain.
Has Tesco stopped responding to all complaints, or just mine? I’ve been clawing at their walls, you see. I filled out their tidy little online forms, each one a prayer cast into a silent abyss. I sent emails, polished and desperate, into the void. I even took to the public square, posting reviews for all the world to see, my words hanging in the air like forgotten laundry.
And nothing. Their silence is a cold, heavy stone pressed against my chest, and I am weary. I am a broken, aged woman, a constellation of aches and pains that stretches across my failing body. I live in the twilight’s arms now, where my final repose looms ever closer, as the daylight dies and darkness gently closes in. And still, they do not see me.
Their issues are not one, but many—a sprawling, tangled web across their vast empire of services. From the agonising delays for my cancer medication, a ticking clock I cannot outrun, to a level of behaviour so far removed from their glossy, smiling advertisements. They smile in the pictures, but their true face is this: a corporation that turns its back on the fading.
Oh, the sheer, unutterable indignity of it all! My trusty landline, bless its antiquated heart, still stretches its faithful tendrils into every dim and dusty corner of this gilded cage I call home. It answers every need, cradles every whispered word of comfort. But no, no, no—the modern world, in its infinite and utterly maddening wisdom, has decreed that I must be shackled to those infernal, glowing rectangles of torment. I can’t even snoop into my own mailbox without one! And soon, oh, so soon, this wretched, creeping cancer will claim the last of my strength, and my coffers are as bare as a winter tree stripped of its last leaf. The pressure—the sheer, crushing, suffocating pressure from society to acquire one of these accursed devices! How many of my fellow pensioners nod in weary, bitter agreement, their heads bowed under the same yoke?
And the signal in this house? Ha! As reliable as a politician’s promise, I tell you—here one moment, gone the next, mocking my very existence. urged to buy a safety device that will, no doubt, fail me precisely when I need it most, when my trembling hand reaches out in desperation. What utter, unmitigated, nonsense!
And then, the keeper of my electronic mailbox—that smug little gatekeeper—forced me, me, to buy a mobile phone. A phone I cannot feed with coins I do not have. Cursed by a land where connection fails at every turn, left chained to my own four walls by cancer’s merciless grip, what use is a mobile? What use is a lifeline that dangles just out of reach?
I purchased it from Tesco, a company I have patronised for over forty years, believing in loyalty, believing in solace from this unwelcome, plastic monstrosity. But what did I get? My shaking, unresponsive fingers were utterly unable to insert the sim, to operate the virtual keyboard, to make the screen obey. And the options I was promised, the glorious, simple choices that would grace my display and set me free? They never appeared. They never, ever appeared. Gone into the void, like every other hope I’ve dared to cling to.
Two weeks. Fourteen whole days of silence, of staring at my empty inbox like it owed me money. I’d sent return requests the very moment I realised this shiny, contraption was neither fit nor proper for this place, And what did I get? Nothing. Not a peep. Not a “we’re sorry”. Just the cold, digital hum of being ignored.
So there I was, a woman who can barely hear the world around her, a woman already battered by life’s cruel little tricks, a woman whose nerves were shot from years of trauma—forced to pick up my landline. Do you know what that takes? Do you know the sweat, the shaking hands, the dread that coils in your chest when every ring might bring a voice you can’t quite catch? I called. Each conversation a new battle, each muffled word a fresh knife in my patience.
Finally, they sent a courier, yes—but what of hours I spent in smothered groans, the air still tastes of acid rain. My metaphor for modern business. The product, returned. And now? Now I sit here, a fortnight later, still waiting for my refund. For my money. For a single shred of decency from a company that clearly doesn’t care. Two weeks I’ve waited. Two weeks for a refund on a thing I never even used. And still, nothing but the hollow echo of my own frustration bouncing off these walls.

Visited Tesco Extra Silverburn today. Needed phone accessories for new phone purchased from you 2 weeks ago. Cannot thank Craig from Tesco Mobile dept enough for the assistance he gave me today. Came out onto aisle and helped me with plug / cable for phone and iPad. His service was over the top. Thank you.
Dont buy gift cards from Tesco
I was given a gift card my friend purchased from Tesco. One of those cards you can use in a variety of stores.
I went to Pandora with my gift card, sales assistant, scratched it and put it through the machine. It did not work.
I rang Pandora customer service, they told me the balance was zero and had been used. They also gave me the date, I had not been out and the sales assistant scratched the card.
Its so dodgy how that happened. Pandora would not accept responsibility either would Tesco.
However, Im thinking that as a consumer, Tesco should have accepted responsibility. But they sent me on my way, twice. Selling dodgy gift cards.
I have shopped online at Three Bridges…
I have shopped online at Three Bridges store for some time. Deliveries are usually ok and they tell you how many drops are ahead on the app. However I gave up today and booked with Sainsburys as there were loads of unavailable items, too many to count, even on staples like bread. I won't do online again, it's a waste of time and I will shop in store for a few things I do like from there. But unless you are prepared to accept only half your order, the online is not worth the delivery cost

£85, Four Hours, and Not So Much as a Text: Why Tesco Has Lost Me as a Customer
Today I want to talk about customer service. Specifically, the complete absence of it.
I placed an £85 online food shop with Tesco, booked for delivery between 2pm and 6pm today. I planned my day around that window — as you do, when you've paid for a specific slot and been told that's when it'll arrive. 6pm came and went. No van. No shopping. No word from Tesco at all.
So I called. Twenty minutes on hold, listening to the same loop of hold music, before I finally got through to a human being.
And here's what that human being told me: the delivery van had broken down. That was it. That was the reason my entire food shop hadn't turned up. Fair enough — vans break down, things go wrong, I understand that logistics aren't always going to be perfect.
What I don't understand — what I will not accept — is that at no point did anyone from Tesco think to tell me. No email. No text. No phone call. Nothing. I was, apparently, one of the last four deliveries left stranded because of this breakdown. Four customers. That is not an unmanageable number of people to contact. That is four emails, four texts, or four two-minute phone calls. Someone at Tesco knew, hours before I called, that my shop wasn't coming — and made the decision, actively or by sheer negligence, not to tell me or the other three customers - terrible customer service -
Instead, I was left waiting in for a delivery that was never going to arrive, with no idea anything had gone wrong until I chased it myself, after sitting on hold for twenty minutes just to get an answer I should have been given automatically.
This isn't a rant about a van breaking down. Things break down. This is about a company that takes your money, gives you a four-hour window, and then leaves you completely in the dark when it fails to deliver — quite literally — on its side of the deal. Communication isn't a nice-to-have here. It's the absolute minimum. If you know a customer's shop isn't coming, you tell them. You don't make them find out by sitting on hold.
For a company the size of Tesco, with the systems and technology it has at its disposal, this isn't a resourcing problem. It's a choice. And it's a poor one.
So no — I won't be shopping with Tesco again. Not over a broken-down van, but over a company that couldn't be bothered to pick up a phone, send a text, or fire off an email to tell four people their shopping wasn't coming. If you can't get the basics of communication right, you don't deserve the business.
Tesco Food Quality not good!!
I am an avid Tesco shopper as I have always trusted their produce regarding quality and in most instances value!
I’m a trained chef now in my seventies so I would like to think that I would have a broad range of experience and knowledge regarding fresh produce and quality.
However the roast dinner I prepared and cooked today just did not live up to my expectations or that of my wife!
I bought a Rolled shoulder of Pork for £10 approx’ and ‘fresh parsnips’ in a bag. All within use by and best before date.
After roasting the pork and leaving to rest I carved the joint. It was both dry and in places tough with little flavour apart from the ‘Star anise’ and other seasonings I had sprinkled around.
The parsnips which had clearly not seen a frost while in the ground were small and flavourless and did not roast well at all.
I am pretty fed up as I’m paying an increasing amount of money for the same product that was so much cheaper a few months ago and the quality has fallen off a cliff edge!
‘I just had to get this off my chest!!’
Consistently terrible
Have recently moved to a new area - Glasgow Southside, have persevered with their online delivery but will now be moving to another supermarket. Today’s delivery contained 15 missing items and 3 substitutions. The delivery status doesn’t update and deliveries are late more often than not. We get many products with short dates.

My wife was given a voucher for 8p off a litre of fuel, pretty pointless really as they are usually that much dearer than good stations but I filled up anyway and suprise they wouldn’t accept it as they say only selected stations
Once again Tesco the rip off we all know they are

Tesco Kidderminster. I was getting in a real pickle with an out of hours prescription & the pharmacist was brilliant, really very helpful & I am very grateful.

I would not always give only 1 star but right now I am struggling to even give one. There seems no way of actually contacting Tesco to give feedback. Their Facebook link will not accept messages which you only find out after writing the message. The WhatsApp system tells me i will be connected to an agent in 2 hours. Everything else goes to irrelevant automated menus.
I regularly use self scan which cumulatively saves Tesco a fortune. Twice in a row a bag check has been required at Lea Valley store. Each time an apparently unscanned item came up so full rescan required. The first time was clearly a faulty scanner which got stuck and had to be transferred to another scanner. Clearly got block listed so got another bag check today which also found an item though 100% sure i scanned everything (or at least attempted to). So now this will happen every time as I am listed as suspicious. Today what was meant to be a quick in and out took an hour as staff were having to deal with multiple rescans. Trying to do their best but desperately understaffed and having deal with irrate customers like myself! Had additional annoyances with lack of trolleys, out of stock items, scales printers not working and pay at pump petrol not allowing 8p off coupon. I flit between Sainsbury's and Tescos. Sainsbury's is probably equally appaling with poor customer service. Between you and a few other supermarkets you control food supplies and can maximise profits by knowing that we are still going to come back as there are not really alternatives. However invest in customer experience rather than trying to extract as much money from us with as little input. That's my rant.

I ordered a blind cassette from Tesco Marketplace, but needed to return it. I have had 2 months of back and forth between Tesco and the Market Place seller, it's been on me as a consumer to constantly chase and push, yet nor refund arrived to this day... AVOID AVOID AVOID
Tesco Oak Tree Lane
Tesco - Oak Tree Lane, Mansfield, Notts: I booked a Home Delivery for between 8pm - 9pm. By 9.15 it hadn't arrived & I'd received no notification of any delay. I rang Customer Service & was told by a very unhelpful woman named 'Keira' they couldn't get through to the store & that 'nobody was answering'. Direct numbers are not given to members of the public so the only options I was given were a refund, but I didn't want to do that incase it showed up once I'd put the phone down (plus I'd have to rebook the entire order for another day & risk this happening again) she then said 'I can put a note on your file so they can see that you've rung' ! what good is that? so in other words I had to keep chasing this myself & call back later rather than the customer service team sort the issue!?! no offer to ring the store more than once, just one feeble attempt by her - she was gone for no more than 20 seconds & was extremely dismissive with a very poor attitude. I don't think a true attempt was even made, despite waiting 25 minutes to get through - disgusting cstomer service! I then rang again 10 minutes later - hoping to get through to somebody more helpful - & spoke to a guy named 'Nick'. He tried 5 different numbers & towards the end of the call he offered to try all 5 numbers again - Nick stated that Keira hadn't even put any notes on my account regarding my phone call either! Nick told me that if my delivery hadn't arrived by 11pm that it would 'automatically be cancelled' & I would receive a full refund automatically - including the £3.50 for the 'Pick,Pack & Deliver' charge & the £4.50 for the delivery slot. Although he gave me a £10 Goodwill Voucher for the inconvenience, he failed to escalate my complaint to a manager and the information he have was incorrect. The TESCO app had also not updated as it usually tells you that they're 3 stops away etc, so I rang at 8.50pm as I knew something was wrong, and they've even had the audacity to record my MISSING order as 'delivered' rather than a no-show! Outrageous! It's now the following morning (Sunday) & I have still not received any form of communication or apology. I will update my review when or if a manager calls to explain. I have since had to book another slot for today & cancel plans on the off-chance that this time my delivery will actually show up!
So, its now Monday.. the second delivery did actually arrive, yet I've still not received any formal apology or been contacted by a Manager & they have taken payments for BOTH Saturday nights delivery that didnt show AND the order for Sunday, which they also charged a higher delivery fee for. So, yet again, I have had to call today & spoke to yet another person named 'Callum' to ask why I haven't received a refund or any apology. I understand that sometimes things happen that are out of our control, but to not receive a text, phone call or email to explain is so frustrating. The store have my number & contacted me directly a few weeks ago regarding a van that had broken down - so why not the same courtesy? TESCO have really gone down hill & reading through the reviews I can see I'm not the only person this has happened to - disgusting! I have been told again, that a manager will be calling me within 2hrs - and the higher delivery charge has been refunded as well as the full cost of the 'no-show' delivery, but I will be keeping an eye on my online banking as I dont trust TESCO as far as I can spit. If this isn't resolved today & I have to spend another day strssing about this, I will be taking the matter higher as this whole experience & disgusting customer service has been a complete joke!
I was contacted today by a Manager named 'Claire' she knew exactly what to say & I couldnt fault her, she killed me with kindness & assured me that the matter would be resolved, which it now is. Callum actually did what Keira & Nick failed to do - their job. I have been compensated & although an outcome was achieved I still feel let down as a consumer, there were just too many faults so this review will stay.I failed to receive my order due to a 'delivery driver calling in sick'. The amount of money TESCO makes, I'd expect them to have a better 'back-up plan' regarding sickness than to distribute the absent drivers delivers amongst others in the hope you may or may not receive it, depending on time - so for that, this review is staying firmly in place. Customers should not be inconvenienced due to a company having a poor workaround for absent staff. Absolutely shocking!
