The cafe is a completely dehumanising experience: you have to order at a machine, which obviates the need to speak to a human being. We had to help a middle-aged woman to use the system, which was humiliating for her.

This is in relation to Tesco in Kirkwall, Orkney where I have always had good service prior to my experience today. I purchased a pair of jeans, size 14. Sizing has always been fine before without issue. On this occasion the jeans must have been sized incorrectly as they were definitely NOT a 14. I tool them back and even measured them against other size 14 jeans and there was a definite difference - nearly 2 inches - in the waistband. When I pointed this out to the person at customer service I was told they could do nothing about it because I had removed the label. I had the receipt, the jeans had obviously NOT been worn and yet I was refused even an exchange which was all I wanted. I am very, very disappointed in this. Add to the fact that when the manager of the clothing department was called to assist nobody appeared. Even if the manager of that department was not in, surely someone else should have attended. Very disappointing service from a store that is usually very good. I will not buy clothes from Tesco again if the sizing is so diverse.

Tesco Marketplace took the money from my bank account but failed to deliver the order! When I tried to get a refund I rang their credit card bank who couldn’t help me. I then had to fill out a lengthy form. Never again will I use this site. Absolute rubbish

Borehamwood tesco bullied a disabled customer..who has pain .
As usual they did not help with packing and have to rush with to pack shopping myself..staff female member rude called security...ridiculous..why do they not help disabled people and then they call security to make me feel intimidated..two of them near me.. a very poor show it was..disgraceful..!!! date 5 september 2026

I lost my wallet at Tesco’s in Bicester just over a week ago. I have been enquiring at the customer services desk nearly everyday since. I cancelled all my cards and paid to have my driver’s license replaced. This morning I decided to check one last time as I had very important documents in that wallet. I was greeted by a lovely lady and she did something none of her colleagues did before. She went into the office and checked. She came back with my wallet and told me it had been there for over a week.

For nearly a decade I was in Tesco's in trinity Square Gateshead spending thousands every few months until of late I have as I have became captive to my disabilities. So I tried Tesco's whoosh out because they bring your shopping to your door, that didn't quite happen. The just eat currier phoned my mobile to my surprise and he refused to bring my order to my door because I live in a apartment block but only on the first floor. I explained that my disabilities prevented me from being able to get down to the main entrance but he still refused. Luckily my very thoughtful and kind neighbour offered to go down to collect my shopping but I feel so badly let down and after the amounts of money I spend there I just think I'm better off taking my business elsewhere where it's appreciated. The other issue I have is that my private mobile number was given to a complete stranger without my knowledge or permission, he rang me from his mobile phone so has my number because he called me twice as he hung up before I could get to the phone first time then rang again.
All in all a very negative experience.

Visited my local Tesco express in Woolwich London. I bought water bottles for kids to take to school. Both bottles were faulty, the lid had no plastic seal. My son’s book bag and everything got soaked. I went back to Tesco to get a swap . Customer services looks at bottles and says they have been used. A water bottle is for water!!!! Yes I put my kids water bottles in their book bags and it was the same problem. Tesco refused to take them because it is policy!! So if a customer buys a defective item you have to keep it. This is an outrageous policy that even managers could not convince me otherwise. I asked that if I didn’t need the bottles I had bought the day before, why would i exchange them . By this time my kids are tired hungry crying and just wanted to go home.
Tesco supermarkets are day light robbers. How do they expect one to keep a defective item, which by the way I had receipts for. Every staff was a manager of something and they all could not use common sense. No one should spend money in these stores that don’t value or treat customers like real human beings.

Michael and Fraser delivered my food shopping last Sunday evening they were both wonderful friendly/ polite so helpful this is the second time Michael has delivered our shopping / on both occasions his customer care service is excellent a real credit to Tesco

Firstly i had to click on 1 star before i could start a review didn’t want to leave any!! Ordered a Whoosh delivery, like I do most weeks and most times I have to guide them to my address even though its very easy to find..!!! Took my £53 odd money and I waited said it would be about 30 minutes. Then showed delivered… !!!!???? Not to my house it wasnt and I have no idea where it ended up. It had age limit products in so obviously my date of birth wasnt given?? Getting a bit fed up with the service to be honest as its become so unreliable.. Spoke to customer service and have to wait for a refund which can take up to 5 days😡😡😡 no shopping and cant get out to get my products… the courier used today I have been told was Stuart/Stewert so maybe they need retraining. Tesco you really need to sort this out.. one very unhappy, loyal customer who spends a lot of money in store and online. Will be rethinking this one 😡

I have two serious concerns regarding Tesco, one relating to its complaints process and the other to the behaviour of one of its delivery drivers.

Firstly, Tesco’s customer service and complaints process is extremely disappointing. I wanted to make a formal complaint and searched online for a suitable contact number. Unfortunately the numbers I found provided absolutely no assistance, calls either ended automatically, directed me back online, or told me to visit a store.
Following this I went to my local Tesco store and asked the manager how I could make a formal complaint. I was given the same contact numbers I had already tried, as this was apparently the only complaints procedure available to them. To their credit, the two managers I spoke with were helpful and genuinely tried to find an alternative contact number or email address, but the lack of procedures and support available to them meant they were unable to help a member of the public with a serious complaint.

For a company of Tesco’s size, this is simply not acceptable.

The reason I was attempting to make this complaint is particularly concerning.

At approximately 9:00–9:10am, I witnessed a Tesco delivery driver pull over and urinate on the roadside on Bourne Road, Bromley, in a built-up residential area directly opposite a primary school!

This behaviour is not only completely inappropriate and unacceptable it’s disgusting particularly given the location and time of day. Children, parents and other members of the public could easily have witnessed what was happening. In fact, I heard a female member of the public audibly gasp in disgust as she walked past the driver.

The vehicle registration was BT24 UEZ. There is also a Tesco store less than two minutes from the location, which makes the decision to behave in this manner in a residential area opposite a primary school even more difficult to understand.

I appreciate that individuals may occasionally find themselves in difficult circumstances, but urinating in public in such a prominent location while representing a major retailer falls well below the standard of conduct I would expect from someone driving a Tesco vehicle.

I would therefore like Tesco to confirm that this incident has been formally recorded and investigated, and to explain what action, has been taken.

I also believe Tesco needs to seriously reconsider its complaints process. If a member of the public has a serious complaint, they should not be sent in circles between telephone numbers, websites and local stores, with nobody apparently able to accept or escalate the complaint.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed both by the conduct I witnessed and by how difficult Tesco has made it for me to raise a formal complaint about it.

Tesco advertised free holiday competition entered before 1/9/26 I got 6 tickets with reciepts but I can't find anything about it, just a marketing scam. Their foods always expire before the sell by date! Ice cream sold isn't made with milk cream anymore that they shelve unless stated, it's is made with coconut oil n other oils thickness colour, e's and skinned milk because of British government legislation!

I’ve received shopping today and one Apple was so completely rotten that it’s disgusting
I only have noticed that now when opening the package

Why do the pickers always put toilet block or other smelly stuff on bread
Keep fresh stuff away from smelly stuff it’s just common sense so bread etc don’t smell like scent 🙄

Basically feeling very stressed out because my husband can not have caffeine for medical reasons, and i rely on getting tesco caffeine free diet cola 2 litres bottles as brand makes are to expensive, basically it cost between £3.00-£3.50 for just two bottles of brand make caffeine diet cola 2 litres bottles, and basically when I was able to get tesco caffeine free diet cola 2 litres bottles I would buy six at a time, but basically I am only able to afford two bottles of brand make caffeine free diet cola 2 litres bottles at the moment when I do my tesco weekly shopping, especially with cost of living and basically we are all disabled and I am wheelchair bound and housebound for a while I hope, as recovering from another ankle fusion operation, and basically no one can drive in our house for medical reasons

The whole point of home delivery is to deliver what I order not some of it. Delivery arrived and no freezer items, driver literally threw the trays on the floor and couldn't even be bothered to speak just looking at his watch. I then have to phone and go through the usual crappy BOT to get a refund and now I have to go to the store anyway to get the missed items. How hard can it be, here's a list of things I've purchased, put them in a van and deliver them. Most drivers I've met have been really pleasant, this one had zero pride in doing his job well.

I have just received my 'Big Saving' vouchers and am flabbergasted at the audacity of what they are offering as a perk if you spend a certain amount of money. I got 4 vouchers to be used on consecutive weeks. The 'perk' is £30 off if you spend £200 or more! I doubt there will be many people who spend this amount every week, especially like me, there are only 2 of us at home and we're pensioners. It's about time Tesco stopped wasting money by sending these insulting vouchers out and send realistic vouchers to their loyal customers.

Tesco managers have no respect for the customer. Half of my shopping was not delivered and the driver assured me the store would ring to let me know what will happen. The driver was very apologetic. However, nobody from the store did ring. So when I rang the helpline I was informed of their plan which unfortunately was not convenient for me. Had they rang to say this is our plan, I would happily said we will drive over to collect it. But this lack of communication with a customer when something goes wrong is infuriating. It’s not the first time this has happened. Their attitude is one of them doing the customer a favour! No Tesco, the customer is your bread & butter.

60p for an apple which costs 35p in Sainsbury's. They must be mad

All the staff I meet & speak to are really great. Friendly & very helpful. I have home delivery & on the whole this is fine, BUT the state of the trays is a real cause for concern as they are absolutely, disgustingly filthy! This is something that has been getting worse over the last few weeks & today I took photos as I couldn’t believe how disgusting they were! Goodness knows what was in the base, brown dried liquid stains of some kind, old stickers on them & generally unhygienic . I had to wipe everything with antibacterial wipes before I could put them away as I honestly didn’t know what was in the trays.
I have spoken to customer service who were sympathetic & reported it. I have spoken to the delivery drivers who agree with me & one told me that they aim to clean only 60% of the trays !! Not good enough especially as this store had to close a couple of years ago for a deep clean following a rat infestation!
So come on Tesco get your act together. My store is Brooklands, Weybridge.
