My original order was not delivered. Turned out the courier was at fault. Subtel contacted me and offered to send me another one. They did. So top marks to subtel. Impressive customer service.

This is a good company to deal with. My experience was of good pricing and excellent customer service, especially when there was a delivery problem because I ticked the wrong address line on the order! They were really helpful at fixing the problem caused by my error.

Dodgy reviews!
There is something very dodgy about the positive reviews and it doesn’t take a genius to spot it!! Somebody needs to look into the source of those reviews. Two a day, very similar language and I suspect generated from the same source. That’s enough to put me off a sale!

We're sorry about that, but unfortunately we can't ask the 168 customers who have written good reviews (and the 4263 customers on Subtel Germany) to rewrite them in the style that suits you.
Besides, there aren't 2 reviews a day, but an average of 4-5 a month.
Perhaps your propensity to imagine reviews as being''dodgy'' comes from your habit of writing that type of review yourself.

Ordered a replacement battery for my old model Lenovo B560 laptop (after 2 previous orders from different suppliers were not compatible as advertised.) Subtel kept me informed with all tracking info, order arrived on time and well packaged. The battery was easy to install, and started charging up immediately.

Ordered a battery for a camera
Ordered a battery for a camera. When it arrived it wouldn’t charge so they replaced it foc.
The replacement wouldn’t charge either!
As the company is in Germany(I didn’t realise that when I ordered it) I decided to cut my losses and look elsewhere.

No Customer service,no telephone response,no email response to incorrect goods shipped.
No customer service, no response to emails, one HR on the phone and a useless company to trade with, I'd say. All I seek is the correct shutter trigger cable for my Canon R5 in exchange for the R6 one that I received from Subtel. I'm claiming my payment recall thru' my CC for this ignorance. Subtel is NOT 🚫 a responsible trader, sadly!!!On last Friday I spent ONE WHOLE HOUR ON Your CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE Without Answer. THAT'S VERY BAD SERVICE FROM S RETAILER!! YESTERDAY YOU EMAILED ME About A BATTERY QUERY 4 days after I sent my original email. My velux solar windows batteries
My velux solar windows ground to a halt. A little research & doh ! the batteries have expired. The Subtel equivalents were perfect, pre charged and worked immediately. Delivery was prompt and I’ve saved their details for the next time I need replacements !!

Scandalous delivery cost
Subtel wanted to charge me £45.95 delivery on my order due to their insistence on using DPD Couriers. So I contacted them and asked them to send via Royal Mail since that would cost £2. They refused. I got them to deliver it to a relative (for £2) who readdressed it and posted it to me for the regular Royal Mail postage cost. I was invited to leave a review here on Trustpilot, which I did. I then received an email from Subtel using extremely unprofessional language pressuring me into changing the content of my review. Absolute joke

We are sorry to read this. Indeed since Brexit, DPD and other couriers charge very high prices for deliveries in some parts of the UK (Scottland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man...).
This happens regardless of the seller or delivery company. This is a rather annoying situation that we and other sellers have unfortunately no control over.
The part of your comment about the normal post is however legitimate, as we unfortunately don't work with Royal Mail. We apologize for this.
The email you received, that was not ''extremely unprofessional'' was not meant to ''pressure'' you in any way but rather to provide an explanation to this very simple situation. Unfortunately an explanation does not seem to have helped.
