My original order was not delivered. Turned out the courier was at fault. Subtel contacted me and offered to send me another one. They did. So top marks to subtel. Impressive customer service.

No refunds
The first two batteries I ordered did not work because they were either not as described or faulty- I'm not sure which. Both were returned (separately) and both were claimed not to have been received by Subtel. Consequently I have not received a refund for either. Reading other reviews this seems to be not uncommon. Multiple comms with customer service-no help.

Was told I’d get a refund for the return postage costs for the wrong battery they sent me. They didn’t refund and ignore all calls emails and messages. AVOID!

Thank you for this second review about the same case.
We sent you an e-mail on the 17.02 at 14:46 and you replied to us which shows it is working.
We also chatted together on the 21.02 in the morning.
You called us on the 12th of February and we spoke on the phone.
We therefore respectfully reject the claim that we are unreachable.
Concerning the battery, it is listed as a replacement for 533-000146 but your battery is a 533-000164. You ordered the wrong model by mistake and it is not a wrong delivery from us.
A refund was issued on 25th of February at 10:40.

Don't buy anything from this company
I purchased a replacement battery pack which is faulty. I contacted Subtel customer service twice to arrange a replacement or refund, and they completely ignored my requests. Presently, trying to get my money back via the bank. Appalling company of scam artists.
In response to Subtel reply: The customer service representative is referring to a message enquiry sent pre-delivery. My complaint of faulty goods, and request for replacement or refund, was sent on 1 March and follow-up on 5 March (confirmation receipts retained). Neither message was responded to, so it's a bit rich when they say "you can simply contact us directly". Yes, you can, they just don't bother to reply...
Add, won't ever apologise to list of complaints (see other reviews). FACTUAL response: You have not replied to my emails. Simply refund my money. Sick and tired of dealing with your unprofessional customer service team. Who do not provide customer service and spend their time trolling people who write bad reviews, instead of providing good customer service that would avoid bad reviews in the first place.
You absolute Muppets. Please provide an email address, not 'info at subtel.co.uk', and I will send you your own "Thanks so much for reaching out. This is just to let you know we have received your email and will respond as soon as possible" email acknowledgement on 1st March.

Battery replaced
I've bought quite a few batteries from here over the years and I've found that their quality is as good as (if not better than) the originals, and they've also given my ancient action camera a new lease of life.
I did have a spicy pillow problem with one of their batteries recently, but it was within warranty (just!) and I received a new one within days. Also feels nice to be able to deal with the company directly without going through that big A thing.

Ordered a replacement laptop battery…
Ordered a replacement laptop battery around a year ago. Arrived on time, but now holds very little charge - dropping from 75% to <20% in less than 30 minutes.
Additionally, every few weeks I need to soft reset by uninstalling a driver in order to get the laptop to recognise the battery
Although the battery supplied technically works, it will need replacing much sooner than I had anticipated and I won’t use subtel this time.
