Good auction house with fast turnover and fast payment. One of the few weekly auctions who will take general house contents as well as higher value items.

We are regular buyers and sellers at SDA. Ross and the team know their stuff and it always amazes us how the team manage to turn around and catalogue 1,000 items each week. We've always had a good experience buying or selling through SDA and highly recommend them

Love this online auction. This is the first auction site I have used and I find it one of the best. They have a great mix of items every week. I look forward to Thursdays when catalogue comes out.
I have bid on some items, won some. I am a real newbie to auctions and what I bought exactly is as described online.

Over the last few years, I’ve both bought and sold with this busy auction house and have always been happy with the service. I’ve seen a few critical reviews on Trustpilot which don’t reflect my experience. I think sometimes people are unfamiliar with the unique requirements of the auction process (buying or selling) and expect it to be like a regular retail transaction and it’s not. With auctions, there is an element of “buyer beware” and you do need to fit in with the auction house’s requirements in regard to drop off times, collection times, payment terms, unsold items etc. And they won’t always take what you’ve got - I’ve had many items refused! It’s all part of it. It’s not for everyone but it’s a fun way to make some money from items you no longer want or pick up a great bargain. Anyway, that’s my tuppence worth on SDA and auctions in general.

Brilliant auction house, have bought and sold 100's of items over the last 4 years with them and no complaints. If you are an Irish or international collector log in weekly and I am certain you will find at least one item a week you will love.

**Beware of South Dublin Auctions**
I purchased three items of jewellery on 17/12/23 through the EasyLive platform, paying in full immediately. Despite numerous requests for postage, I experienced significant delays and unprofessional rude communication. After being told there would be no shipping for that auction, I faced rude responses from an unnamed manager. It wasn't until 08/02/24 that I was informed one piece was lost, with the other two pieces to be posted. I provided my IBAN for a refund on 10/02/24. Despite multiple follow-ups, as of 16/07/24, I have not received my refund. All my attempts to resolve this issue have been ignored. I have contacted the ombudsman and urge potential buyers to be cautious. EasyLive platform hosts this company but does not take responsibility for their actions. Ensure you are fully aware of whom you are dealing with before making any purchases.

Great variety of items from the weird to the wonderful and many bargains to be had. Very helpful sales team that have assisted in recent purchases. Greatly considering selling through them soon, too, due to their very preferable selling rates vs other auction houses. Always worth a dig through their catalogue.

Dreadful. Unprofessional. People in the office are obnoxious. They lost an item I purchased. Lost an item that I sent to be sold. Unorganised chaos. Do not trust these people with your valuable items.

Absolutely shocked at the rudeness and unprofessional nature of this so called business. My husband and I are good customers of these weekly auctions but our selling experience has been terrible. They lost an item that they were to sell for us and when we tried to follow up on it we were met with a hostile and arrogant response from the Director, Ross Graham. Apparently we are to blame for them losing said item because a) we don't have a photo of it and b) they wouldn't sell fire items in the summer months. Which is a curious comment considering their last auction contained Christmas items! Horrific company to deal with. Avoid at all costs.

The worst place to buy anything. The office manager was the most hostile person you can find in any service provider in Dublin. I would give 0 star if I were given the option.

Have been buying lots of south dublin auction house for the last 4 years bought inexces of 100 lots and all I can say is brilliant company to buy from never and problems with shipping and quick shipping also will use again 100%

Terrible unprofessional bought a lot after email about postage told pay for item first that’s how it works bit rude I thought.so paid three weeks later a lot of emails later nothing. This auction house are frauds do not waste hout yimr ot money

Put up for sale some items through them and followed up online at the auction date. When collecting my cheque (as they wouldn't post it) to only fInd out one of the item wasn't sold, even if their website mention sold, showed them the screenshot that I took, they told me it was a mistake, I requested the item back, they already put it for sale under their name, as it was past the 2 weeks collection time policy (which was true since I thought it was sold as stated on their website). Seems like a scam and advise you to not do any business with them since they can't be trusted.
