Southampton Airport Parking Recenzje 

Just collected my 79 year old mother in law from the long stay car park. We'd overrun the free allocation of 30 minutes by a couple of minutes. Thank you to the really helpful car park man I spoke to on the intercom system who happily voided what would have been a £6 excess. He was a real star, a credit to Southampton Airport Parking.

The prices for southampton airport dropping off & pick up is absolutely rip off £2 for 15mins it's far to much at the best of times came of a flight 26th of September yesterday infact my relations were there to pick me up it was after 9.30 pm they were only there 10 mins to pick up thinking they would pay £2 which is bad enough but no £6.50 so disgusting..........

I never got to try it since I had to change my travel plans. However, it was not possible to amend or cancel a booking made on a SuperSaver ticket. Heathrow parking is so much more flexible. I'll be voting with my feet and will not use Southampton in the future.

whos brilliant idea was it to have those yellow on springs rock hard bollards which if you hit them smash your bumper then get stuck under your car?, give him or her a medal , because as you drive up the ramp they suddenly appear and its too late youve hit them .my bumper and underside of my car was damaged,took a brake pipe out also , i wont use that car park ever again!

Just dropped off at the airport, nice, clean and safe for my wife and kids, close to the terminal. Had to pay £2 but gladly did as the facilities were excellent and very easy. Thank you Southampton Airport, so much less stressful than a long drive to a bigger airport. Great facility to have on our doorstep.

Just dropped my wife of at Southampton airport at 6am & got charged £2 for less than 5 minutes in car park. DISGRACEFUL. Will be writing to my MP. Doesn't encourage you to use the place. Would prefer to drive further to an airport with free parking just in protest!!!!,
The nice parking attendant told me the long stay offers 15 minutes for free but the website says 30 minutes....another money making trap???
Also road signage was confusing outside short stay car park as it suggested drop off was inside the short stay car park, but when pulling up, with another car already behind me, we realised we'd be charged £2!!!! No choice.
I have now put in a official compliant to the airport and still be getting on social media (which is something I hardly ever do unless I feel really strongly about something) about this one today!!
Disgraceful. They should be ashamed and I hope they loose more business like they did when they priced hobby pilots out with their high landing fees 12 years ago (my wife and I used to enjoy flying, hiring aircraft from the flying school before the school was forced to move because the airport hiked up their landing fees).
They were greedy then and still are.
USERS BEWARE!!!!! Go to a different airport if you can.

Addendum...my wife suggests for safety as a lone female she doesn't want to get a free bus at late time of evening she is flying back into a deserted long stay car park for me to collect her, but would prefer me to walk up from the railway starting car park to meet her where you get 15 minutes for free easily (if not more at that time of night), which is closer to the air terminal and via a well lit path!

The airport should think twice how they treat their customers once they are away from the terminal building.

What a rip off. In the car park less than 5 minutes and charged £2.00 for the pleasure to drop off a passenger for a flight. It gives a new meaning to the term highway robbery. You have been warned

Average – acceptable experience but with some friction.

Disgraceful! Not too long after introducing a £1 fee for drop-off or pick-up, Southampton Airport's car park operator has now set the charge for, in my case, often no more than two or three minutes to £2. This is a complete rip-off.

They should ashamed of themselves. Charging £2 for 15mins it used to be free then a £1 now £2. And £7.50 for 1-2 hrs. I appreciate they are going to be a bit more expensive for convenience but seriously that is a rip off. Something needs to be done it is beyond joke

We used the long term car park on the early bird price of £54 which means you can't change or cancel your booking. Everything was fine and the bus soon arrived. The only problem I found with the bus is the platform doesn't drop down so you have to lift the heavy suitcases onto the bus. All the public transport buses around Southampton and into Dorset all have this facility why not these buses?

My husband has used WF Parking for Southampton Airport on two occasions so far. The first time he had a good experience - all smooth and as you might expect. The second time was even better. My husband and son got caught out by horrible traffic and were in danger of missing their flight. One quick call to WF Parking and they agreed to have a driver meet them at the terminal; a huge relief, and they made their flight with short minutes to spare. Thank you for being so understanding.

CAR PARKING OVERCHARGE AND POOR SERVICE
02.06.2017 to 8.06.2017 holiday.
We tried to book in advance online for 6/7 days parking in long term car park. The website wasn't working so we had to just arrive without any pre-booking. We returned on 8.06.2017 and paid for parking at the machine. We were charged £87 instead of the pre-booked amount of £54?. We pressed the help button on the payment machine and were told they were aware of the problem but we had to pay and then reclaim through their parking enquiries e mail. Repeated e mails from my daughter have received no response whatsoever. I have telephoned today and am now still awaiting an answer after 36 minutes ( which I am recording). I have been told there are 4 in the queue, then 2 and now 1 for the last 12 minutes. I don't believe this line is being answered. I think people are just giving up waiting. Why are companies so keen to take our money and so poor at refunding it. If the airport was aware of the website problem, why were we made to pay extra and then have to go through this fiasco for a refund? Really shabby for an otherwise excellent airport. Hugely disappointing. Did anyone else have this problem??

The point of meet and greet is to save time, Despite correct warning and timely arrival, it took ten minutes for anyone to turn up and even worse a good 20 minutes for my car to be delivered on pick up. To make things even worse, the driver was very terse, and skulked off without mentioning the exit ticket, and that I HAD TO PAY TO GET OUT. Will just do short stay next time

Helpful staff and close to terminal but parking itself is a little like being packed as sardines

I went online today to pre-book the car park to only be given the option for tomorrow. We are flying to Manchester tonight and back tomorrow so only needed for one day. Called customer service to be advised that you cannot do same day pre-booking as the registration number needs to be sent down to the car park and this wouldn't be done in time! How long does it take to send a registration number of a vehicle, we aren't flying until 7pm! Very poor.

Absolutely disgusting that when I put my ticket in the pay machine no payment was required. I only went there to check the size of 2 cabin bags with my 3 yr old grandchild. But by the time I got to the exit, YOU wanted £3.50 !! I had to walk right up to where the ambulance helicopter is parked, so I am damed sure that it would take longer than 2 minutes to get there put 2 bags in the car and my grandson Thanks. Oh and I would of quite happily paid the money if it had shown what I had to pay.

On arrival I found a space quickly and only waited a minute for the bus.
The drivers are very courteous and friendly.
On returning to Southampton, again the bus appeared within a minute.
I am really happy with the service and will definitely be using it again.
