I placed my order in early December, money taken from my account but nothing sent out. after many emails to sospecial nothing just false promises. I feel they have taking the p***, The bank is now dealing with it as I paid on credit card. The sooner this site is shut down the better.

Goods order 17th October and as they had not arrived I contacted SoSpecial and was told on 3 November they would arrive the following week. As no goods received I cancelled the order on 24 November and have since then been chasing them for a refund and each time being promised 7 - 14 days, then a refund transfer reference, which I have still not received. I am now taking this matter further as the refund should be processed within 30 days pursant to distance selling regulations and after reading how many people are in the same situation would like to prevent others from ordering from this company.
They do not deserve a rating as no goods, no refund just false promises.

my problem is the same as the others ppl, im just guna cancel my account, thankfully myn was only just over £5, and the sad thing is i really needed my item.... i tryed about 15 companies/shops/website for my product so i was chuffed wen i fort i found my product..... words can not describe the anger i feel..... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY FROM SO SPECIAL WEBSITE!!!!!!! DANGER!!!!

Same story as others, paid money early Dec, goods not arrived, promises they have been sent - all lies lies lies. they should go out of business - trouble is I feel sorry for people who are ordering now! DON'T DO IT!

I ordered proto col capsules from sospecial at a charge of £52 plus, which was taken straight out of my bank account. Several e-mails and many excuses went on over a period of weeks. No refund and no product emerged. I attempted to phone sospecial on several occasions without success, as a pre-recorded messaged advised to e-mail them. In frustration I phoned Companies House and found out they were not registered. I then rang trading standards who guided me through a letter and advised me that if I had paid by visa I could get in touch with my bank and ask for a "charge back." This I did and eventually received my money back through the bank "charge back" system I would advise this action if anyone has paid by visa card.

Wish I have read these ratings before ordered. Lost count how many emails wanting a refund!
Nothing.
Taken my money, then said out of stock, will be dispatched asap months ago.
Nothing.

Appalling customer service if you can call text messages customer service. I am still waiting for a refund on an order that was cancelled on 3 Dec 2010. I have ordered from hundreds of companies online before and can honestly say I have never been treated like this before. I will be reporting them to Watchdog and Trading Standards.

Ordered early Dec and monies taken instantly. E-Mail after E-Mail said "out of stock" "will ship next week" etc etc.
Nothing arrived.

Ordered items on 27/9/10 money taken from account straight away, waited the 14 days then tried phoning but surprise surprise telephone number didn't exist ! Emailed and got back what appears to be the standard email reply they use, have been in constant contact via email and keep getting fobbed off that new stock is arriving next week and it will be sent out, have had enough and reckon legal action is the only way forward.

Ordered 1st november, nothing by 1st December, cancelled order and asked for refund, got a reply after sending two emails, promised refund and as of 4th Jan, no product and still no refund.

Contact trading standards, your bank and media if you are in the same situation.

goods ordered 9th november and money taken. Waited the required 15 working days before contacting to say not arrived then contacted them. Then discovered this site and so wish i knew beforehand! So got straight in there with emails as tel no on website not recognised. One product was not in stock but other was and hadnt bothered to send. no communication re order at all, and was for a birthday gift. I am still waiting on refund and have just had another email to say refund being processed, just like i did on 13th Dec (to allow 7 working days to show) I am going to contac trading standards or consumer direct as absolutely abysmal! DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE and hopefully your looking at this before you place an order unlike me!

I placed an order beginning of september & over 3 months later, still haven't received my order!!!!! I've emailed them soo many times that i've lost count wanting to know where my order is & asking for a full refund. They reply bout 1 week later promising that'll be posted the following week etc & full of apologies, but it's not good enough!!!!!! They took my money over 3 months ago!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I "thought" i had purchased some items from this "oh so special" company for Christmas presents. They took my money and at no time did they say the items were not in stock! I waited for nearly a week and then viewed my order and this stated "outstanding", so I called them and got an answer machine that stated they would call back within 48 hours........ they didn't! so i called again and left another message and they still didn't call back. I then emailed and again NOTHING! So I cancelled my order and still i do not have the funds back in my account! This is fraud and I will be contacting Trading Standards regarding this. I so wished i had checked the reviews on this company first......... and one lesson i have learned is to check reviews on companies before i use them. I purchased 2 x eyesential for approximately £43 on 13/09/10. Initially they said the delay in sending out the product was due to high demand. Then they said it had been despatched. Then they apologised that they thought it had been despatched when it hadn't and that they would despatch it straight away in early December. Since then I have chased for a refund by email and telephone but have received nothing as at 20/12/10. They have emailed me but feel they are just fobbing me off.

I placed an order with this company in June. The item was out of stock but £42.50 was taken from my credit card immediately. The goods were still not available by August so I requested a refund. I AM STILL WAITING!!!. I have received several emails them promising a refund. There has been no reply to my telephone calls, and recent emails from me have not even received a response. CUSTOMER BEWARE !! The company is still taking orders so if you happen to read this review before you place an order just be aware that this could happen to you! £42.50 is at lot of money to lose!.

Think i judged sospecial wrong! I didnt know their office is closed at weekends so when i thought they werent replying they actually were closed!
Supply and demand must be a problem as their prices are low, so it will always be a case of trying to keep up stock, with so many orders!
Must admit i did worry,but think i was a bit impatient,very happy customer, order received very quickly once it was back in stock.

Like everyone else I read this after I spent £32.96 on 15th SEPTEMEBER 2010 (it's now December!!!), never had the products, same old rubbisthem promising to the items that week, then the week after then offered me a refund 16th November, 14th December & still not had my money back, email again today & she's read it as I've got read receipts but no money, they're nothing but con artists & how they're able to get away with this in this day an age is beyond me....! I just hope they get shut down & soon before anyone else is robbed by them!

After ordering a bottle of city glam at the end of october, i still have not received it even though the money was taken from my account right away (3rd Nov).
They do not answer your calls or reply to answering machine messages i left, or answer your e-mails.. Got to contact trading standards now and take it from there which is stress and hassle i could do without right now. Please dont become another victim!!!!!

I placed an order at the beginning of Nov that has still not arrived and to this day despite trying to contact by phone (only an automated answering machine!) and emails I have had zero response. I have definitely been duped out of my £50 and have contacted Trading Standards / Consumer Direct to look into this shady group. I can't stress enough - DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE THEIVES!
