They took my money on the 28th November, 2 weeks later they admitted they couldn't supply the goods. I asked for a refund. They promised this over and over again but I still haven't received a penny back. I have reported them to consumer direct. Stay clear.

They are not even worth a star.

This company are real rip-off merchants. Goods ordered May 2010 despite numerous e.mails no goods and no refund. Do not use. Better to give your money to charity.

Just like the customer comments on this site I too placed an order back in October 2010 and have had email after email of excuses
A lady responds to your emails and drags out the whole process and the order never arrives as I have found out
Here are dates and the sort of response you get when asking where the order is. Bear in mind I have been extremely patient with them

I am sincerely sorry for all the problems and delays with your order, we had expected our new stock back in much sooner which is why I thought your order could be sent out! We have however experienced delays with our new Eyesential stock! I can confirm new stock is finally due back in the end of this week though and so the order can be sent out if you would still like it ?
I responded saying YES i want it.

22nd nov-I am again very sorry for all the problems and delays with your order. I can confirm that your order can finally be sent out to you this week if you would still like it?
I can only apologise again for this situation

Thank you for your email and I am very sorry for the delay in replying. I can only apologise I do not know why your order has not already been sent out! I can get the order sent out if you did still want it? If not then we can just cancel the order and refund you instead.

At this point I was just determined to see whether it would ever arrive and again emailed asking for the order to be delivered and reassuring them i did want it, they thought it had been sent and again got another email
19th Jan 2011-Thank you for your reply and I apologise for all the confusion, I shall ensure the order is sent out then for arrival within the next few days

I sent yet another email after waiting for the order to arrive and received anpther email on 41st Jan
' I shall find out what the situation is with your order and will get back to you' was my response

after yet another email this time i mentioned taking this further and again another response on 15th of february- I am very sorry I thought the situation with your order had been sorted. I shall find out what happened and if it has not already gone out will ensure the order is sent out

and finally on the 25th of february, yet another email from so special now saying she thougjt the order had gone out to me

I replied informing her that I work from home and have not had the order and i am contacting the daily post newspaper Raw Deal I have now asked for refund and provided them with the order code and reference number


I am now going to give up as I am aware they are a fraud company and will also be reporting them to watchdog and any other agencies I can, I will not be giving up on ensuring this company are tracked down and brught to justice, I have done it before and will now do it to so special

Do not trust this company, goods ordered 9 Dec 2010, still not recd despite several E mails, money was taken same day!!!!!!

Ordered on 6th Feb 2011. Money taken immediatley. No delivery after 2 weeks so contacted via phone. Only get answerphone. Emailed and received email from a [name removed](possibly a mystical figure !), asking for more details which I sent. I have heard nothing more despite many emails. Never had a problem shopping online before and wish i had read reviews prior to ordering. Bloody robbers.

I have paid three times for a product I have not received. Tried logging in with a re set password but it doesen't work. Emailed the Company, no response. Clicked the cancel order tab but they have not credited my account. If you teleohone the Company the automated reply tells you to email them your query. It's about time something was done to stop this site from ripping all these people off.

Goods ortdered in December still not delivered, now not answering Emails. Do not use!!!!!

Ordered goods at the beginning of December. Still not received by 18th Dec so cancelled order. They then said order ready to send. I told them I had cancelled it, they confirmed this in email on 20th December and said refund would be in 7 to 14 days. 20 February - still waiting for refund. Rang and emailed numerous times - no reply to phone messages and emails keep saying refund is coming but it never does.

Placed an order in December... still hasn't arrived.

After numerous e-mails to them (don't bother calling the phone number, no-one ever answers!) all I got are promises its on its way. Now I don't even get a reply !! Stay away from this company they are bad news !!

I am waiting for my goods from 22nd December 2010, e mailed and e mailed over and over again, was promised delivery, nothing, asked for a refund, nothing. I will contact Office Of Fair Trading now

Does not even rate as 1 star, I was taken in by these people, ordered goods never got them emailed no response, as soon as I got my credit card people involved they deceided to email me to say delivery has been arranged, even then they could not keep their word, finally told them to cancel order, got refund on my credit card. Trading standards should be on this case asap

Placed my order in October and never received it. As with everyone else I am still awaiting a refund. I wish I had read the reviews first. No matter what time you Email the response is quick but it is a stock answer each time, totally worthless as they do not deliver your item or refund your money.......DO NOT USE THIS SITE

I ordered from Sospecial on 9th December,my money was deducted from my account the next day. Quick of the mark to get your money but not to deliver the goods. Two months on and several e-mails with much the same stories and results as othes on this site. Since threatening them with retreiving my money through my credit card company I have heard nothing from them. My order is now cancelled and the battle for my money begins. If i could give them a negative raiting i would. Do Not Order From Them.

I too wish I had read the reviews about this company before ordering. Ordered two items in early December which have not arrived and I have now cancelled order following two unanswered emails. I have requested immediate refund and will use small claims court to reclaim monies if not received.

If only, if only I had taken time to read the reviews I would be a lot happier but sadly lost cash in a rip of scum of a company who I do not know how they are allowed to be trading..surely Trading Standards must be on this now..this has to be illegal. And for the person who reviewed and praised this scum of robbing folk...are you in cahoots with her and the gang who are ripping honest people off...I really do you get your come upance...come on Trading Standards...get in there and stop them doing this to anyone else

I order from So Special 16th Dec money taking 17th Dec £27 no goods received as yet, numerous emails from them...ive requested that my items are sent recorded delivery on monday and the tracking number is emailed to me Monday...if i dont receive this then i will contact my credit card for full refund...im not holding any faith on this...but I have threatened them with trading standards n watchdog, will also write to Sunday Papers as they also can help receive a refund and also name and shame this company!!

Ten months yes! Ten months ago I ordered an item off this site , after numerous e-mails saying the same old thing, like we've just got stock in, it will be sent out right away, they've now had my money since April 2010, I don't think there's any person at this rip off company capable of telling the truth, totally disgusted !!!!

I ordered beginign Jan got emails from them, Checked today on their site it says the goods were despatched on 28/1/11. They did not tell me this i had to check. I will wait a couple more days and if the goods dont arrive i will be contacting trading standards office ref this company

I ordered an item beginning of Jan, and still awaiting it , I have had same experience , contact via email. Giving excuse after excuse why order not been filled. Cannot contact them by phone, not replying to email, gonna try and get refund now !!
I HOPE THE WEBSITE IS SHUT DOWN !! DONT BE CONNED BY THESE PEOPLE !! if they are not a con artist setup , then they certainly are doing a good impression !! FRAUDSTERS !!
