Really genius device. My favorite features: phone charging port is easy to get to, solid telescoping handle, and the functionality of the SMOVE app.
I've had mine since the price was $150. Well worth the price. I use mine with a Google Pixel 2 and an iPhone 6S (Not giving up my audio jack)

I had been watching this item because i am a professional videographer and love to film when my wife and i go on vacation. I cant bring all of my real equipment along with me so I use my phone. The smove definitely works as promoted. The first thing i did was hold it out the window while driving and it looks like a legit steady cam. For the price it's definitely worth it if you want to enhance your videos. I have the smoove pro and i also have the smoove mobile which has the extender. Very happy with this product.

I made contact with Jeramy from SMOVE on Instagram via DM to ask questions about the unit, we where responded to VERY quickly and the issue was addressed right away! I couldn’t be happier with this video stabilizer and I haven’t had much tome to play with it, and the customer service is beyond amazing. I’ve approached a few other companies about issues with their products for them to only direct me to an email.

After having been profoundly disappointed by Flowmotion I decided to order a Smove mobile stabilizer. It did not disappoint. The delivery was hella fast, to begin with. I live in Australia and it arrived about a week after I ordered it. The product itself is beautiful and easy to use, shoots amazing footage with so many shooting options. It included a mini tripod and high quality case as well. So much value for money. Smove all the way, baby!

First Smove mobile I received was dead on arrival. Support got a new one in my hands and it’s been working fine since.

Really enjoying the Smove Mobile! Slight, predictable leaning curve as this is my first gimbal, but was able to use it rather quickly for my footage needs. The extra extension reach the Mobile acheives mades it perfect for my desired shots. Absolutely worth checking out. Cheers!

I am a filmmaker that owns a production company. I was impressed with the marketing video for this stabilizer and with its specs. However, once I received it I realized that it was too heavy for me. I immediately contacted customer service and asked them to issue an RMA so that I could return it. The stabilizer was brand new and I had not used it. Customer Service replied with an RMA # and instructions on how to return it. This company received the item on 12/12/18 and it’s been almost a month and I still had not received a refund. I emailed the company 3 additional times inquiring about my refund to no avail. Finally, I had to contact my card issuer and open a FRAUD claim to get my refund! This is a terrible company that is only interested in getting your money. BUYER BEWARE!!! Once this company gets your money there is NO Customer Service and even after you return their stabilizer you will not receive a refund and will have to open a FRAUD claim with your credit card issuer to get your money back. Not worth the hassle and stress. Choose a different company trust me you will thank me later! -ID

I wish i did some research into this company and product before purchasing it as a gift for Christmas. (Person gifted sent me a link wanting this product) I would have never purchased from this company now knowing that customer service doesn't exist. Emailed company twice with no response now.

Nothing but praise, great product and Sam at customer support was extremely helpful in recommending mic and accessory setups for my smove which I really love. I make cat videos and this has become indispensable for my live streams and recordings

Update: Feb 2019:

I upgraded my experience to 5 stars as my refund was given, minus $10 for use according to company policy of an opened product; my cost of shipping back the item with insurance, to avoid any further logistic possible issues. The item arrived safe and my refund was processed soon thereafter with an appeal from customer service to please change my review to reflect their efforts, which I agree is due.

Having worked in customer service for over a decade now, I can understand what these departments go through and the efforts/ refund through communication are in the end, the point of the review.I'm not too unreasonable, and decided to move it up to 5 stars.

I would like to say it's always been that way, but I have to admit they earned it. I am not going to hash out and argue over $10 (the box was opened and the device had been charged up) and shipping, but overall beyond being 90% satisfied, I'd order from them again should another product interest me.

Jan 2019 Update:

I have upgraded to 3 stars as I did get a response from the customer service team and an address to mail back my device. Additionally, they asked me to change my review, as there was an internal issue with the email response system. I work with computers and can sympathize, but this is something they need to resolve, or indicate on the webpage.

Helping other customers and the company, use Facebook Messenger or Instagram for better contact, per customer service.

However, I don't believe in erasing or changing my original post, due to possible perceptions of there being no immediate issue. I'm fair, however, and at this time am satisfied. Please take the original post in context...

December 2018 Post:

I didn't want to say unacceptable, but my request for a refund has been noted two times, once in November shortly after purchase and again later in December after I realized I had no response. At this point, I'm stuck with an item that doesn't work with my phone, and am wishing I had an actual response from customer service.

Not the best experience I have had, and I work in customer service. The product itself doesn't seem bad, but I was honest in my application not working and asked for a refund. Three months soon with not a single response except a computer generated email saying they had my request case.

I make videos for my business and this absolutely is the best thing I have invested money in. The best part is the face follow and object follow. It allows me to have my own personal camera man without actually having someone to follow me around. I can record what I'm working on and talk to camera as it follows me around me shop. This has stepped my video production up by 100%! #InfinitePaintingDesign

Excellent customer service via Facebook messenger app. They took care of an issue I had immediately. Jason is great.

I enjoy how smooth the shots come out now and the ease at which
I can now do crane and time laps shots. The instructions are easy to follow but if you get lost, you can always YouTube tutorials. It does take a little time to learn how the product will handle before you really start using it. There are adapters for different types of phones, a nice carrying case and the stand attachment is excellent for table shots. You can use the app or not, its your choice, you will need it for the time lap set up. Blue tooth set is easy! I used the SMOVE over the holidays and the family all had fun making better video. I think the SMOVE will help me in my side business and when I shoot video for work. Nice investment for me and I would recommend for you!

The product is not at all easy to use. The mobile app locks out frequently, it does not track faces or objects with a phone. With a gopro in it it just vibrates all the time and moves randomly. There is no manual to download, just a few general video tutorials. Total waste of money and time so far.

I had a slight issue with an order. SMOVE was responsive and made the situation right. After using their gimbal, I was impressed with its capabilities. I took it with me to Thailand and helped get some good footage while on the beach. Would recommend to a friend!

This is my fourth stabilizer and from the well known name brands to this. I finally found what works well and versatile for my usage. I enjoy the ease of usage and using it my personal family video but it won't compromise pro stability. I'm a photographer and picky to my things I get and oftentimes disappointed. I have used this from weeks on in and it works from all my wants and wishes for it to do. I love my SMOVE, wished I found it at first before buying others. You will truly enjoy it. I do all the time.

Great for phones over 6" ! Love it with my new XS Max. I am rarely the one to sing someone's praises. I pledged for the original smove in 2016 and then got the smove pro later when it was in preproduction. The build quality has stood the test of time. When I lost a charging cable the support sent me a new one no questions asked. Kudos to the team for top quality products and to the support staff for their hard work and putting the customer first
