Why is there no help with product after installation?

On October 14, 2025, I contracted with Sho-Pro of Indiana for the installation of a new shower in our home at a cost of $14,415.

Immediately after completion of construction (which was near perfect), we received a request for a 5-star review. Since the work was done well by a fine craftsman and all seemed to meet all of our hopes, I posted that review.

The happiness didn't last. There appeared a significant issue that remains to this day. The glass doors are coated with hard-water stains that have proven to be impossible to remove. None of the suggestions have worked. Our cleaning service and their senior staff were also unable to clear the glass.

On December 17, 2025, I sent an extensive and detailed letter describing the problems with the glass doors and all we had tried to fix them. We received no response.

On May 28, 2026, I sent a response to the president of Sho-Pro per his request for our opinion of the shower and their service. I was explicit about the concern and suggested that considering the company's promises and guarantees, Sho-Pro was obligated to render a fix. The company president never responded.

On June 16, 2026, I wrote a letter to the salesman. He was so friendly and helpful to us when we made the purchase; we hoped he'd respond or move someone on staff to help. There was no response.

I attempted to change the 5-star review on the other platform, but alas, it would not allow it.

To be clear, my issue is with glass doors. The construction was done well. The quality overall is great. The price was more than reasonable. My problem is with the doors. In my area, hard water is a major concern. Since the shower was installed, we spent a large sum to have a water softener installed so that if the doors ever get cleaned, they'll likely stay that way!

Sho-Pro on Indiana, if they lived up to their promises, they would fix them. But it has been months, and they seemingly have no interest in following through with what they promised when we made our purchase. Look at their site and see what they promise.

Would I buy from them again? Possibly not. Service is always an essential part of a purchase. Service is lacking here.
