Wonderful experience every time i visit here. The staff are knowledgeable, polite and make you feel at ease.

My first appointment at Scrivens and I have to say having sampled many other opticians prominent on high streets and in shopping malls, my experience here was second to none. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful in listening to my specific problems with my eyesight. The optician was very thorough and gave me a full and detailed explanation of the steps necessary before I can be fitted with new glasses. This was so different to other opticians where a quick test has usually been followed by immediate pressure to buy new frames. First class service so far.

Excellent service from start to finish and you are never pressured to buy any glasses and so helpful when you do. My daughter used Vision Express and was told she needed glasses then kept complaining of headach s went to Scrivens for second opinion told she had 20/20 vision and to stop wearing glasses never had a problem since.

I was able to get an appointment in Palmers Green when i wanted thankfully! Dr.David was exceptional, i really liked the way how the visit was made!
And my glasses were ready before my flight which it was very helpful for me! Very much appreciated for the help, especially from two Albanian ladies who were working there!

Excellent service from the Barnsley team! I had an issue after being hit in the eye with a padel ball and they managed to fit me in to a busy schedule and subsequently book me in for a more detailed inspection.

Constructive, quick consultation. Did not try and sell me something I did not require and very personable staff.

First appointment at the Ringwood branch. Very helpful staff especially Caroline who took the time to answer all my questions .

Appalling Customer Service. Needed repair to Hearing Aid & took it to Abingdon Shop. Had to pay £25 for "Assessment". A week later repair would cost £174. Declined as unaffordable but ask what was wrong. Reply was "they didn't say". Tried to email Customer Service twice & now 2 weeks later not had a response. As I had no "Assessment" (Receipt said "Deposit"!!!) they refused via Staff at shop. It took from Monday to Friday to get a reply by shop person. Also was informed they have to deal with all branches & would be lucky to get a reply. I believe my £25 should be returned as I had NO ASSESSMENT & DEPOSIT FOR WHAT? I will no longer deal with this company because of very poor customer service

Scrivens bolton absolutely brilliant, very helpful, didn’t feel rushed or pressured and lovely friendly staff! I hope they get bonuses as they deserve it!

Northfield branch have lovely, friendly staff who are extremely helpful, and helped me choose a new frame. My appointment wasn't rushed at all. The optician explained the changes in my vision thoroughly and the sales staff explained the treatment options to me. I'm very happy with the service.

Visited for a booked appointment for a hearing aid check at Chapel-en-le-Frith Branch. I was dealt with straight away and very pleasantly by the regular hearing aid advisor, and the issues with the aids were resolved very quickly.

Straightforward friendly service. Treated as a person and the team happy to explain things throughout my eye test and contact lens check.

Recently went to the Winton Branch Bournemouth to collect some prescription contact lenses for my husband.
Only to be met with a very disgruntled gentleman who informed me the lenses had been returned as my husband had not been into the shop to collect them. I explained he works 6 days a week, Sunday is day off and I offered to come that day as I happened to be in Winton. Now I will say my problem is not with the fact that the contacts were returned, although I can not imagine they would any good for anyone else as they are prescription and he had paid a deposit I believe! My issue is with the manner that I was spoken to and the advice I was not offered. He simply carried on in a disgruntled manner to doing whatever he was doing. It was in my opinion very bad customer service and as I myself also attend this establishment for my eye tests, I'm actually considering taking my business elsewhere on this experience alone.

Had a hearing test at the Barton upon Humber shop and had a very positive experience. The test was conducted by a lovely young lady who was patient, knowledgeable and kind. She is an asset to the Company. I will be back.

Visited Scrivens Didcot branch. Was seen by Zuzzana who did my OCT scan. She was friendly and professional and made me feel at ease. A very pleasant lady to deal with.
