After getting glasses from Scrivens in Rhyl i wouldn't go anywhere else.
The staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly they go above and beyond for their customers.
I highly recommend this company.

I have used Scrivens for several years. They have never failed to provide an excellent, friendly professional Optician service.

Excellent service from start to finish. Attention to detail was second to none, I felt very looked after and the ladies who helped me choose new frames were lovely! Would recommend.

Went to Alfreton branch of Scrivens Opticians after having a disappointing experience with a major high street supplier. I decided to use and support an independent company and was highly delighted with the this experience. Much more personal service, both from the optometrist and the staff, no pressure to pick my style of frames and very informative at every stage of the appointment. The staff were very helpful and courteous and I would highly recommend Scrivens. Will certainly continue to use them in the future.

My routine eye test was performed at Scrivens in Shirley, Southampton. There were a few technical issues for the locum optometrist but these were handled calmly and efficiently. Despite this, my eye test was still carried out with skill and thoroughness, particularly as a new condition may have been found . The receptionist was still learning but was eager to do her job well. Overall it was an excellent visit.

Fantastic service at Bourne End! Booked an eye test for me and my young son and Fatima was so welcoming and helpful. Turns out my son didn’t need glasses but I did. Monica was very professional and both me and my son felt at ease during the examination. There was no pressure to make a decision about glassss on the day. My family and I have been coming here for 10 years and will continue to do so.

All staff, not just the technicians, are knowledgeable. They provide a very personal service, and really do care.

Everything was extremely well organised and I was kept informed all through the process. Recommendations were offered by the staff in an order to ensure that I understand all the options available me and allow me to make an informed choice, which ultimately was down to cost! As there were a number of potential options I could choose from.

Luckily Ive got good eyesight apart from astigmatism which makes my prescription quite complex. Ive been using the same glasses from Scrivens 20years ago, but reaching the 70years DVLA prompted me to recheck. Ive used other high street places which got my prescription completely wrong. I bought some driving glasses to sharpen up the distance and very specialised close up glasses for very detailed bench work. All perfect. Scrivens is very professional. Hope they are still there for me in another 20 years!

As usual the staff were attentive and efficient when I visited for an eye test.
I was astounded hear however that the sunglasses I had returned when they degraded on my first real holiday did not qualify for repair as they had probably been affected by hot weather. Alice was going to appeal on my behalf but really!!!

The staff are so helpful, especially regarding choice of frames and advice regarding lenses.Diane one of the staff was excellent.Would definitely recommend Scrivens opticians.

following an eye test with Scrivens all I wanted was new lenses to go in my existing frames... but they stated because my frames were out of stock I would have to get brand new frames... this is pretty unacceptable when places like Lensology fit new lenses in existing frames. Felt like I was pressured into buying new frames. Won't be using Scrivens again.

A friendly greeting when I walked in the door all the staff were polite and friendly and helpful the ladies who done my test were professional polite and helpful all the time i will recommend them to anyone who asked and look forward to seeing them again thank you to all the staff at milldenhall
