Had annual lens check while there decided to buy new glasses .
Had an excellent member of staff go through different types of frames ones which suited me and ones that didn’t. She didn’t rush me or push me into buying anything particularly expensive. I ended up choosing two pairs which I am thrilled with.
As they were verifocal glasses and new to me I was asked to call back after a couple of days to say how I was getting on with them or not. That’s service!
The whole experience from start to finish is friendly, professional and efficient, can’t recommend enough.

I recently visited Scrivens in Wimborne, following cataract surgery. The environment was clean and calm. I had a very thorough eye test and the optometrist explained things clearly to me, gave me various options and no pressure was put on me to make a decision.
Since collecting my new glasses, I am delighted with them . I will always give Scrivens 5 stars and more if I could for cleanliness, professionalism and kindness from all the staff.

My 1st time having to wear prescription glasses and the whole visit was handled amazingly by the staff at Waterloo Rd branch,Blackpool.staff were very helpful,funny and patient with me given I had little idea about what glasses I would need,I highly recommend anyone local needing optician services visit the store , thank you waterloo Rd team,Gerry Doherty

Staff very helpful

Scrivens provide an appalling service to NHS patients. Both my hearing aids have failed again which means another couple of weeks without them while they are repaired/replaced. And, this is the sixth time I've had to return them in two years! Avoid them if you can!
