0 étoile ,entreprise malhonnête, non fiable

entreprise malhonnête, non fiable pour les produits qu'il vous vendent, carrément à éviter. Pour détails voici mon expérience :
à ma 1er commande d'une scie sauteuse pro "brushed" , je reçois une scies sauteuse pro "brusless" de 25 euros moins chère et qui n'a pas les mêmes qualité, heureusement que j'ai vérifié les références de ces 2 modèles à l'avance, j'ai fait une réclamation, il fallait que je retourne le produit pour me faire rembourser, déjà que j'avais perdu assés de temps pour cela et que j'étais sur le départ pour un chantier à 5h de route et qu'en plus j'avais besoin de ce matériel, j'ai fait souple et j'ai accepté pour mon trop payé : un code de réduction d'une valeur de 25 euros utilisable avant 1 an. je fait donc une commande 2 mois et demi avant la fin de validité du code, je commande un trusquin à 11.49e et 1 lot de 3 malles à 44.99e mais le code ne fonctionne déjà plus, je rappelle donc pour une réclamation , et un nouveau code m'est donné pour mon avoir de 25 euros avec en plus 5 euros pour les frais de livraison. jusque là , on pourrait pensé" tout s'arrange', je fais donc ma commande,mais à la réception de cette dernière commande, le lot des 3 malles arrivent en piteux état, cassées dans les angles,constation signé aussi au livreur, emballage carton trop souple et les malles d'une qualité très médiocres, cassant comme "du verre", suite à cela ,je fait une réclamation par téléphone, je joins les photos des malles cassées par mail à screwfix, le lendemain je reçois un mail m'informant du remboursement pour les 3 malles de 21.09e sans autres! que devient mon avoir?( j'ai payé pour le lot de 3 malles 44.99e moins mon avoir à récupéré de 23.90e , j'ai donc paye 21.09e à la commande; mais où sont mes 23.90e déduit qui représentait mon avoir.
( pour détails le reste de mon avoir de 25e +5e a été imputé au trusquin commandé et au frais de port). Alors, je rerefait une réclamation par téléphone en précisant que screwfex me doit toujours 23.90e de mon avoir d'un trop payé pour l'erreur de produit pour ma commande d'une scie sauteuse, il m'est alors, encore proposé de me faire un coupon pour cette somme à valoir à nouveau sur une prochaine commande. j'ai exprimé mon mécontentement, car il faudrait encore que j'achète à screwfix pour récupérer mon trop payé sur une erreur de leurs part, et que je vais devoir, en plus, payer 5 euros de frais de port pour cela, et bien, rien à faire il n'entende rien. Donc, entre le temps que j'ai perdu et la déception des services (limite malhonnêtes)et produits défectueux ou médiocres et l'argent que je perd pour récupérer mon dù, vraiment mettre une étoile c'est plutôt 0 étoiles que je mets (mais c'est minimum 1* pour donner un avis) même si des fois les prix sur screwfix inspireraient de faire des achats sur ce site & que les interlocuteur au téléphone sont aimables, je déconseille fortement cette entreprise, pour le manque de sérieux et si vous ne souhaitez pas perdre votre temps en photos, justifications, réclamations, retour de marchandise et argent débités pour 0, voir pire redépenser pour récupérer votre dù. choisissez une autre enseigne. merci de le faire savoir.

DUMP and GO delivery

Ordered block salt which arrived 2 per box so lots of cardboard. It was DUMPED on my doorstep so it was not possible to get in or out of front door. In-laws in their 80's had to call me to come back to move them. nobody rang doorbell obviously just want to dump and go!

I visited the Luton branch on Bilton Way over the weekend. Yvonne served me and was super helpful! 😊 Even with a customer ahead of me who wasn't exactly the most polite, she went above and beyond, checking screws multiple times, customers didn’t want them and walked away with out a thank you..

Lied about delivery and why they…

Lied about delivery and why they couldn’t deliver, then refused refund until they get products back that have not been delivered to me. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FOR DELIVERY. Our local store is great, however buying online for delivery is disgusting.

SERIOUSLY SCREWFIX?

Bought a radiator on line, they made a mistake so they cancelled it but kept my money. STILL waiting on refund!!!
Went into to store to buy the radiator but wasn't in stock so ordered one told delivery would be Wednesday. OK with that plumber coming Thursday
Delivery didn't turn up today ( Wednesday) said attempted delivery nobody in ( I've been in all day I'm disabled) phoned customer services they said they'd have one delivered to store where I could collect ( I'm disabled remember) but then said its be delivered to store as a back up on the Friday
Plumber won't be around Friday and I'll have to wait 8 weeks but I'll be in hospital
SCREWFIX STOP TELLING LIES !!!

Update had a customer service manager call me (jade) lovely girl did try and rectify situation by offering me a some of money compensation ( I declined, I won't be bribed) it's messed up my whole day
Went next door to Toolstation collect tomorrow as in stock !!!

had a call from a SARAH & JADE head of customer services
Was told to back to store no questions asked no fuss or embarrassing issues
So I did.
Wouldn't refund me had to explain 5 other workmen waiting behind me SO EMBARRASSING you couldn't script this !!!!

Now I'm getting phone calls for lots of customer service agents asking me NOT to accept delivery of the radiator
Ones even trued to turn the onus on me that it's MY FAULT

A RADIATOR HAS TURNED UP THO ITS BEEN CANCELLED AND IVE BEEN REFUNDED!!!

No point being a Shop if you can’t stock the items you advertise for sale

When will the people behind Screwfix realise that they are failing in business and causing tradesmen an absolute nightmare
Advertising items online and every single time you go to the store, they don’t have it in. Sorry sir next day. That is all you hear.
The purpose of having a Shop is for convenience for the customer. If I require a tool, I require it immediately for use that day.
Get a grip and have at least one product from your catalogue that you are advertising as holding in the store for customers to buy. I wouldn’t even mind if I had to travel to another local store.
Today wanted a concrete vibrating poker and not one store in the whole Leeds area has one. All you want is the money in your account and for customers to wait on you. It’s a failing business mindset that has just cost you another sale. I will take my business elsewhere.

I find it very intrusive asking questions about my personal details by a member of your staff and in front of joe public before buying something, after so many questions i walked out and will not be shopping at your stores again, to other customers please don't put up with this questioning

Screwfix Maidenhead - low stock levels?

Screwfix Maidenhead is my nearest store - Generally speaking it`s been pretty good in all aspects but recently the items in my orders can`t be picked up together - it needs two trips . That`s more time and petrol etc and its becoming a pain .
The staff are always good but they are being let down by the system ? I`m going to try Toolstation to see if they are any better in terms of stock levels .

Poor website function blames customers browser

Customer apparently cannot change billing address, pretty stupid, so cannot pay for goods!
When I complained they blamed my browser (Firefox) suggesting I should be using some Microsoft rubbish such as Edge (no way).
There website should work with ALL popular browsers but obviously they are to incompetent to make it so and would rather blame the customer!

Many thanks for your prompt response, the problem was fixed by your support updating the address for me however there attitude regarding peoples browsers got to me hence the review, I thought that was confined to old school banks years ago. I would prefer the review to remain anonymous.

Customer Resolution Team Ignored Every Issue and Blocked Escalation

I’ve been a Screwfix customer for over 20 years, but the way my recent complaint has been handled has been extremely disappointing.

My complaint wasn’t about the product – it was about how the case was managed. None of the specific points I raised were addressed, yet the Customer Resolution team repeatedly claimed they had “answered everything”, even though they hadn’t answered a single one. It feels like they say this simply because they know they can, and because there’s no internal escalation process that actually functions.

When I wrote to the Executive Team, the same Customer Resolution staff intercepted the message and closed it again. It’s impossible to get a fair review when the team being complained about is allowed to block all escalation.

At this stage, I’m now escalating the matter to the CEO of Kingfisher, as it’s clear Screwfix has no interest in resolving complaints properly or treating long‑standing customers with basic respect.

I would still welcome a proper acknowledgement of the poor service and a goodwill gesture for the time wasted.

What on earth has happened to Screwfix.
Never have stock availability, next day pick up turns into 3-4 days with no notification or update. It’s now turned into a problem for my business , and from Screwfix being my go too has now gone to last place I’ll look. Totally unreliable now.

Used to be great, now poor/irritating

Been a customer of Screwfix for, must be 30 years? Until the past year or so found them great but now not so, mostly frustrating to deal with:
- constant requests for security codes, why when i am looking to order something - guess IT have taken control of the business
- poor stock availability, get the impression that the stores have very limited stocks held, in almost all cases when not in stock at Screwfix can get it the same day from a well known competitor firm (to whom i guess i now have primary allegiance)
- the app is like a kids game or gambling site, what on earth? constant banners and tell me ive got coins etc - the IT department again I guess - i just want to order stuff quickly, lets cut the BS
- poor performance on next day to store deliveries, frequently dont arrive on time now
used to be great but now not so. I have even heard former counter staff (generally great) say that its not the same firm to work for any longer. Something has clearly changed within the firm and for me it is not driving a positive customer experience

unnecessary security on login

Your website constantly seems to think I'm somewhere up north when in fact I'm in Somerset.
Also why do you insist on emailing me a code every time I log in. I want to buy something quickly and often have a poor data signal. This is just frustrating and a waste of time. You are not a bank, just back off on the security madness a bit please.
