€42k car, but zero professionalism
I would not recommend this dealership. We bought a Hyundai IONIQ 5 for €42,000, but the service was terrible from the very beginning.
When we arrived for our scheduled car viewing, Mr. Ohlmeier ignored us because he was in a meeting with someone else. His colleague had to help us, but he knew almost nothing about the car. When we looked inside the vehicle, it was an absolute mess. There were half-empty drink cans, a bag of clothes, and personal trash everywhere. The car was completely unprepared for a customer.
Even though we decided to buy the car, everything took way too long. We had to wait 5 days just to receive the contract, and I had to proactively remind him to send it.
We paid for the car on the exact same day we signed the contract. After that, we had to wait almost 3 weeks just to pick it up because they did not have the documents ready. It is unbelievable to wait this long after paying full price. They communicated with us before, so they could have prepared everything or at least warned us. But they did nothing.
During those 3 weeks, Mr. Ohlmeier repeatedly changed the pickup date. He never contacted us first; we had to urge and email him constantly. Then, he just went out of office for a week without finishing our sale. His manager had to step in to fix the situation.
Finally, they broke their promises about the pickup. As a poor apology for making us wait for weeks, they promised the car would be 100% charged. A fully charged car should be an automatic standard for a €42,000 purchase anyway, not some special compensation. But even this was a lie – when we picked up the car, the battery was only at 76%. Also, they even left the salesperson's personal documents inside the car.
This is not a professional way to sell a car at this price point.
Look for a different dealer.
