New Skoda Octavia VRS buying experience
I bought a new Skoda Octavia VRS from RRG Skoda.
The negotiation on the price, deal and part ex was all done through phone and consequently on WhatsApp, which allowed me to consider the deal in my own time with no pressure. They gave me a fair price on my part ex, so I was happy. Got a great price on the new car.
When picking up the car, we mixed up pick up time, but they were very helpful and I was happy.
Love my new Skoda VRS.

A year of having the amazing bz4x and being part of the toyota family. Today was my cars first service 10k and I am blown away. I called the team at toyota a week or so to book my car in for the service the person on the phone was very helpful and even booked me in for collection and delivery. As iv just had a operation and driving and going out at the moment is a massive challenge this service offered by Toyota saved me from worrying and stressing.As a disabled person toyota has always put my worry and stresses at ease and made me feel like I matter. Then a few days before the car was collected I had a phone call from the amazing Louise who is an absolute legend and by far one of the greatest people I have ever had the privilege of speaking too. She reassured me the car would be in safe hands and she would be here bright and early to collect my car and deliver it back the same day.
The day of collection Louise came to my door showed me her ID with the cars paperwork and again reassured me the car would be safe. Let me tell you about Louise she is a breath of fresh air and one in a million. Her customer service skills are immaculate and her laugh is contagious. There isn't many people in this world with her kind of spirt.
This afternoon the car was delivered back to me with all the services done and all the paperwork even outlining the parts I had asked about. And to top it all off the car came back looking new again with a complimentary car wash and interior clean. I would always recommend TOYOTA to anyone who is searching for a new or used car and would always recommend RRG HUDDERSFIELD.

What an amazing experience!
Both my husband, Harry, and I had such a fantastic time dealing with Ifzal. From the very first phone call to shaking his hand in-store, he was an absolute gentleman.
Ifzal took the time to walk me through all the features of the different Peugeot 208s in stock, which really helped me make an informed decision. The whole process was made so easy – everything was clearly explained, and he was incredibly helpful in showing me all the modern features of the car.
He even followed up with a call the day after I collected the car just to make sure I was still happy with everything – such a lovely, personal touch. It was a refreshing change to be looked after in such a traditional and genuine way.
Ifzal is a real credit to the Oldham showroom. I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Great experience with RRG Kia Bury, Daniel was honest and knowledgeable on the car, we bought the car unseen and it was prepared to an excellent standard with full documented service history, the handover was quick with no pressure selling tactics I’ve had at other dealers. Totally Unsatisfied
I really regret buying a car from these guys.
I bought a Kia from RRG Bury for my wife who had previously had a good experience from them. We weren’t ripped off as such, but things I expected to happen as there’s so much competition in this industry was lacking.
Firstly they gave less for an immaculate trade in than ‘We buy any car’ had offered, when it’s a given these days that dealers use these to base a trade in on. The salesman promised they would match, but if not he would explain why. He never did and quickly moved on.
Secondly we had to pick the car up from their service department which is over the road. The service department pressured us to purchase a service plan, which we decided to leave for now after already spending a lot to get the car in the first place. We bought the car in January and at the start of July I received a phone call to book the car in for service. I was staggered they wanted nearly £300 for a ‘Kia’ for its third service. I genuinely thought the car was good for 12 months and regretted even more buying this car. I contacted the sales guy to explain why this was the case and whether he could do something about it. He never got back to me.
The last issue is one of the tyres needs replacing very soon. My wife works in the emergency department of our local hospital which is only 2 miles away. I don’t think she’s gone any where near 1000 miles and already a tyre has a low tread.
Apologies for rambling and I will conclude that RRG Bury no longer values customers or customer care and satisfaction (remember during covid when everyone banged pans on their doorstep for all the professionals working through the pandemic, well my wife was one of the hard workers who got us through it all and gave second to none care. RRG needs to remember what care truly is.)
I truly regret buying this car from them. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere and pray that your experience doesn’t leave you with the bitter taste this one has left us with.

Lastly the Kia Stonic is a very annoying car which constantly beeps at you. Yes it’s a safety feature but it should be simple to switch them all off if you don’t want you car to rule your journey. Watch out for a fuller review of the Stonic which been dropped from the range, strangely for some reason???

Wouldn't touch again shocking no care whatsoever
I thought using a main dealer would be advantageous and they wouldn't do anything underhanded. How wrong was I.
As soon I drove off I noticed the car didn't sound right. The exhaust was broken. They did replace it however.
I then found out that the car we had paid 13500 had a bad paint respray so contacted the after sales team namely Lee who took pictures and sent them to John the General Manager. Hes a hard man to track down. Eventually last Friday he came over to the service centre to have a look. Firstly he was dismissive of the issue, he was rude, arrogant and quite frankly didn't give a damn. He told me to complain to his Manager but wouldn't advise who that was and told me to go online to find out. Wow what a piece of work he is. He even had the gaul to say to me what do you want me to do about it and all cars have some scratches. This isn't a scratch at all it's a bad paint job that needs to be redone. He even told me that if I.go over to the used cars in the forecourt I will find something wrong with all of them. However this isn't relayed to the customers it's covered up. Shocking behaviour for a main dealer. DONT use them they are a joke. Worst experience ever had buying a car from these people. I will stick with HPL next time at least they are courteous and if you have an issue resolve it promptly not like John who doesn't give a damn. Avoid like the plague.
The service centre staff however are lovely, courteous and considerate.

TOYOTA RRG SALFORD QUAYS SCAMERS AND LAIRS
I bought my Toyota corolla in 2022 Toyota corolla since August 2022,from rrg salford Quays (Manchester) and service plan.
Even they are not doing services as written in the service plan and now these days I have issue with my car. Which they doung claim I did put wrong fuel in my car's tank but I have receipt and cctv video aswell. It was a right fuel in it always 100%. Especially as they said last time fuel fill in my car's tank. They are trying to break the warranty by wrongly and forcefully imposing on me with Totally wrong, manipulates and fake reports. They want now from me 611 pounds for plugs ,drainage system and pipes. And hybrid battery comes on low life nearly at 30% to 40% may possibly needs to be change as they said in fake and false reports. Which should be an other 3000 £ pounds i have to be pay aswell. Because my car's hybrid battery now out of warranty because of using wrong fuel which i didn't And most funny thing is i did drive and keep start engine nearly 5 hours after that last 15.01 £ wrong refill in my car's tank as they doing claim. Which is never be possible technically with the wrong fuel present in my car's tank.
It's all about ripping off innocent people and scams them. They even not provide me any curtesy car. And I am suffering with no work and routine schools drop off & pick up of my kids. And i have disable anunt with dialysis conditions 4 times a week who needs to be drop off and pick up from the hospital regularly every 2nd day.
You will never find any complain email address anywhere on website on their documents or any booklets.
Only one form online with fill in details and 1500 words. And you still have to be communicate with those bottom line employees those are all already been involved in the trouble. So how it can be possible you will be contacting a right offical or person and how it can be possible your's complain will be resolving or sorting with honestly. Impossible!
You can't contact management and ceo or higher directly about what under their employees doing with customers, or it might be possible then it all happens with their totally support and concerns involves in it.
Because these all issues doing questions towards whole management and whole system they have in Toyota.

A very satisfied customer!
I’ve been a customer at RRG Bury Toyota for about 7 years now and can honestly say that they’ve always been A1! In fact I bought my first car around the time of my birthday and the salesman bought me a bouquet of flowers and threw in a few little extras for me. Since then I have purchased 2 more cars with Lewis and he’s a ⭐️! Today I’ve been in for my current cars 2nd service. All of the staff are so lovely and can’t do enough for you.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Lost a Customer for Good
Had a very unpleasant experience with a salesman who was not only rude and demeaning but completely lacked basic customer service skills. I was genuinely interested in purchasing a vehicle but was put off by the arrogant attitude I encountered.
I asked to try my child’s car seat in the vehicle—a standard and reasonable request for any family considering a car—and was flatly refused out of concern that it might “scratch” the 2023 model in the showroom. Instead, I was patronisingly offered the chance to try it in a 2021 model, with the warning that if it scratched the car, it would be considered bought. This kind of assumption that I couldn’t afford the vehicle was insulting and completely uncalled for.
In stark contrast, I had an appointment at the BYD Stockport showroom, where they welcomed me, my family, and our car seat for a proper one-hour test drive—with no such narrow-minded or patronising behaviour. They demonstrated what real customer service looks like, clearly aiming to meet customer needs.
I’m now happily buying a BYD Seal U DMI, thanks to their respectful, family-friendly service. I sincerely hope your showroom cars remain unscratched forever—since that seems to be your priority over actual sales.

Misled into buying a car by this lot — absolutely unacceptable.
I recently bought a used car from RRG Toyota and was told there were no advisories, and that the bodywork would be completed before collection. Guess what? The car came with multiple advisories they failed to address, despite a voicemail assuring me there were none. On top of that, it had numerous scratches and two dents, even though we had agreed via email that these would be fixed.
I’m genuinely shocked that Toyota allows them to represent their brand. I’ve already escalated this, but as a new customer, it’s incredibly disappointing to be treated with such disregard.

Disappointing Service & Lack of Transparency – Lost Trust in Toyota Denton RRG Group
I recently serviced my vehicle at Toyota Denton RRG Group on 20th March and left feeling uneasy about the level of care provided. Upon collecting my car, I noticed that my own screen wash had been used without any prior communication. While the cost of screen wash is minimal but it raised serious concerns about whether other aspects of the service—such as the engine oil and filter changes—were carried out correctly, especially since they couldn’t even use their own screen wash.
When I raised this with customer relations, I received a generic response followed by a call from Colin at Denton. His apology felt insincere, and the call seemed more focused on a survey response than addressing my concerns. He mentioned updating the manager, but no meaningful resolution was offered.
Later, I received an email claiming that Steve, the Aftersales Manager, had called me to offer an inspection—which never happened. This lack of follow-through only deepened my distrust. If they can’t be transparent about something as simple as screen wash, how can I trust their work on critical components like engine oil?
Ultimately, there was no genuine effort to retain me as a customer. It’s a shame, as they’re conveniently located, but I won’t be returning. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and unanswered doubts about the service have left me with no confidence in their work.
