⚠️ Sharing my experience with RRG Kia Bury (for awareness)
I drive a 2020 Kia e-Niro and had an annual service & MOT done at RRG Kia Bury on 10/3.
After collecting the car, I noticed unusual noises which became louder over the next few days. I returned on 23/3, and the technician confirmed the noise during a test drive but advised they could not identify the cause at the time. I was told the car was safe to continue driving.
On 29/3, while driving, I experienced a serious issue and stopped the car immediately. Upon inspection:
• 3 out of 5 wheel studs were broken
• The remaining wheel nuts were loose
AA attended and advised it was fortunate the vehicle was stopped when it was.
The car was taken to another Acorn Kia for inspection. Based on their findings, the issue was related to wheel nut tightening - clearly a human error. They quoted at least £1,500 for repairs.
I contacted RRG Kia Bury and later their head office with the details and supporting documents. They responded that they were not responsible and did not arrange to inspect the vehicle.
In the end, I had to a tow myself and repair the car at a local garage. The repair costed me £800, not including lost income from being unable to work.
After the repair, the noise I previously reported was no longer present. This proves that the earlier noise was caused by loose wheel nuts.
I am sharing this as a factual account of my experience. Please make your own judgement and take care when arranging servicing at RRG Kia Bury.

A huge thank you to Phil for the outstanding customer service provided .He was knowledgeable, patient and never made me feel rushed .As Iam based in leicester, I had requested a video of the car I was planning to purchase .I expected this by the end of the day, but within minutes ,Phil sent me a detailed walkaround covering every aspect of my car .
The level of professionalism ,customer service,and attention to detail gave me so much confidence that I decided to complete the payment even before reaching the dealership. When I finally received the car it was in immaculate condition ,exactly as described .
I would also like to give a special mention to Francesca , the Manager ,who ensured I was kept informed about the delivery schedule while Phil was on his day off .
Overall, a fabulous service from the team RRG Group Skoda Bolton .

We bought a used (12-months old) Škoda Enyaq from RRG Bolton. The service was 5 star, from our first making an appointment for a test drive, up to purchase and even beyond - a checkup call a few days later to make sure all was well.
Unlike many branded car dealerships, RRG seem to treat their used-car customers as well as they treat those looking for a new car. Customer service from the whole team, Mark in particular, was spot on.
Mark also accompanied us on our test drive, during which he was helpful and never rushed us - we went on a fairly lengthy run to get the feel of the car both in town and on a motorway.
Picking up the car a few days later was seamless. It was beautifully cleaned and polished and was brought inside to a dedicated area of the showroom - a nice touch, and handy if it's raining (Bolton was lovely and sunny when we were there!).
All in all, a highly recommended dealership.
And we love the car!

I have always had unfailingly good customer service (on a service plan) from Louise, and superb car servicing from the team at RRG [Salford Quays], and this time was no exception. My Rav 4 was second hand when we bought it from them over six years ago (at least) and has been wonderful. For personal reasons it has been sitting on the drive for nearly 12 months, and the 12 volt battery was dead. I was asked to have it recovered to Salford, which I was happy to do, and they have made it as good as new - valeting included. I thoroughly recommend the entire team - as well as the Hybrid Rav 4. I wish this site allowed a score of 10/10.

I purchased my car from Skoda Rochdale last week and I have to say I was impressed. After having had a negative experience with my local Skoda dealership in Colne this was a lot easier. There was no irritating sales patter and Gordon spoke to me about the car not my partner as I was buying the car. This has not been the case with other dealerships. Gordon was super obliging and could not do enough to help. He went above and beyond and even answered an email out of hours. Gordon took the time to complete a proper hand over despite pressure to move on to another customer. He understood the the slight delay in it being valeted on the morning of collection was their fault and so did not cut corners to make up the time. Thank you Gordon for your service and not only will I recommend you to others but my partner would also consider purchasing from you in the future. As a new customer to the Skoda brand that is high praise.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Mark Williamson in particular was brilliant. Very knowledgeable about the car I was interested in but not pushy in any way. He listened to everything I needed from the car without judgement. He kept me updated and emailed me the cars specifications so that I could refer back to them if needed. Vehicle hand over was also great. Mark went through all the necessary things I needed to know how to set without overloading me with information. The branch manager even came out to talk to me about the car and to make sure I was happy with everything. I never been treated like this in any other garage.
The show room was very well presented and in less than a minute I was welcomed and offered a cup of tea. I will be definitely be recommending this garage to anyone I know who is looking to buy a Skoda. The car itself is amazing and I’m very happy with it and the service I received at the showroom

I had a thoroughly disappointing experience with car finance at Mazda RRG Stockport. I know very well that I’m young, so I did not have high expectations of getting a deal, but still wanted to try and see if there was a small possibility. So, never, was I upset with the dealership or anyone for not being able to get a car - but the customer service was extremely disappointing.
Initially, Kieran did make a few follow up calls and I got some emails asking for extra information to help with the finance application, and in one of the follow phone calls that I made Kieran mentioned that if my finance deal didn’t work out, we could look at used cars — however, he never told me I had to come in at any point I assume because my initial deal was still ongoing. Eventually updates stopped completely, and I was left chasing them with multiple calls. I was repeatedly told I’d get callbacks, but no one ever followed up.
After more attempts, I asked for my £500 deposit back. When I called I believe it was Pete that I spoke with to request my refund, he simply said I needed to come in to get it. At no point did Pete mention coming in to look at used cars. When I told him about never being told that, he began arguing and said, “I have recorded calls, it’s all recorded,” making me feel like we were heading to court to battle it out. How unprofessional! If he truly believed he had told me and that I did not hear him, why not repeat it to me again in the numerous calls I made afterward? If I was truly told to come in, I would’ve been there that same day. Just like I was told I needed to come in and get my deposit back, I was there the next day.
This whole experience showed me that unless you have a stable job, are older, and they can close the deal quickly, they don’t care, because I felt like since I was young, and my finance deal was not straightforward, I was not treated as any sort of priority. I felt like I was chasing them, when I was ready to give them money. If they truly cared about helping me find different options, they would’ve had at least 1min out of their day to tell me that. Avoid this dealership if you expect genuine help beyond the initial step. This was all so depressing and humiliating — I felt like I was being a burden to these people. I’m going to try my best to not dealerships like them ruin my love for the car, but oh do they make it difficult!

We purchased a new Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo.
Dealt with Wez initially, the sight manager to agree the sale. Wez offered a fantastic all round service and he put together a great finance deal.
Gordon finalised the purchase and he was professional, knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to deal with.
Highly recommend this dealership.
We travelled from Birmingham to Rochdale to buy this car passing many dealerships and it was worth the travel.
They have secured my future business and I hope to deal with them again in the near future.
