Lies + bad customer service.

I have never complained about an online purchase before, dont go near with a barge pole.

This company may be in trouble but will not admitt so, if they did I may have a little more sympathy.

If this review helps somebody avoid making the same mistake I did and having to chase their money I will be happy.

I imagine a mysterious 5 star review will appear now to balance this. Funny to see only 1 or 5 star reviews

No response to emails or messages, only get lies when I finally get through to them on the phone or their instant messenger system.
Still waiting for my month old order so trying in vain to get my money refunded.

I never normally write reviews on the internet but the outrageous service from Rock and Rescue has compelled me to warn others off.

This company has taken my money and not delivering on their promise.

Paid for item, not delivered. Can't contact them and they will not return calls or emails. Hopefully you read these reviews before ordering from them.

I was sent and forced to accept a different colour pair of boots to those which were ordered and paid for, part of the order was not sent and I had to request to be sent.
The boots developed a fault within 6 months of purchase but I was told to return the boots to the manufacturer at my own expense, Rock + Rescue refused to refund the cost of return and denied any responsibility for the faulty goods which is a breach of the Sales of Goods Act.
In my experience of this company their 'customer service' totally lacked professionalism.
I subsequently received a first class service from the manufacturer of the boots (Mammut) but I received no support from Rock +Rescue at all.

I ordered from R&R on numerous occasions and never had any problems neither with customer service nor delivery. I just recently ordered a Mammut Ultimate Jacket and was under time pressure as I needed it to go away and R&R ensured timely delivery of this item!!! I think some just like to complain unfortunately it is a fact that people write rather bad reviews than praise.

All I can say is that I am a very happy customer and will be back to purchase more equipment. A++++++++++ service.

This company is not what is said in these reviews, I have had no problems with them. I have purchased on two different occassion's and the orders arrived on time. I have spoken to them on the phone to which they were very helpful. Some people just want to complain.

website said in stock...order placed money taken same day. 7 days later order still had not arrived. Contacted them and they said their systems were down and would get back to me but never did. Then they said item out of stock. Eventually offered refund but 11 days later nothing received - despite being told on 3 occasions that refund was processed and would be in my account in 3-7 days. Shockingly poor service and wish had read these reviews first. AVOID THIS 'RETAILER' AT ALL COSTS!

Ordered two ortlieb panniers on Monday, Received email on Tuesday with parcelforce tracking details. Panniers arrived on Wednesday in the colours I'd ordered. I had reservations about ordering after reading some bad reviews on here, but I'm glad I did. They were the cheapest I could find on the web. Don't assume the bad reviews reflect the normal service. But maybe I was lucky!

I was on the hunt for an Ortlieb Rack Pack (blk 89L), the cheapest on the web in the UK came from, surprise surprise, RockandRescue.
Once it was in my cart I decided to add a couple of items to be able to qualify for FREE postage (over£75).
ALL the money was taken but only two (out of three) items were delivered. No mention where the Ortlieb rack pack was (most expensive item and the only reason I'd bought from R&R)! Neither by email nor by notification with parcel. I took initiative and contacted them, they said: "Yes we are sorry about that, we had a slight issue with the colour on our system, but that will be rectified today & we will get that sent out asap for you."
Two weeks later with no update, still no bag! Once again I inquire, they say Ortlieb are in back order and will take another 2 weeks. I ask for refund (several times) and they take another whole week to refund.
AND they misspelt my name several times!

CONCLUSION: Too many PROBLEMS and not enough initiative/too long to solve them! Buy elsewhere and save a great deal of hassle.

Website was showing item in stock, but item was not delivered. Contacted R&R. They argued there was an error in their database. Item was sent following day. Unfortunately wrong item delivered. Ok, can happen. Item was returned, but R&R claimed they did not receive the item back. R&R promised to investigate the issue. Never got a reply. Would not buy again from R&R.

Unlike other reviewers, I found the customer service excellent.

Albeit they didn't have the colour I ordered in stock when their site said they did but with in half an hour they had contacted me and asked if I would l like a similar colour. My order was over £75 so I got free delivery and also found a 10% off voucher online. Item was dispatched Friday, received Monday morning.

All in all I got a quality item for about 20% less that the RRP, I'm sure many people are satisfied but just don't bother to write a good review, so here's one.

They took money from my credit card and did not send out goods. Operators promised to ring back but never did and made up stories that order was ready in warehouse and would be dispatched that afternoon.
They kept my money for over a week then suddenly without any explanation cancelled the order.
Do not believe ANYTHING they tell you!

Will not refund money. They lie to customers.
Never again order from Rock and Rescue.
You have been warned.
