PTL Engineering…Amazing Customer Service
PTL Engineering is a company that manufactures components/parts for the recreational vehicle industry. In 2017, I purchased new a 2018 Newmar Dutch Star Motor Coach. PTL Engineering manufactured the main entry door assembly, which includes a very nice looking vinyl upholstery covering for the interior side of that door.
Over time, the adhesive failed, most likely due to heat, and the vinyl shrunk and curled up. It looked awful. I contacted PTL Engineering and asked if there was anything I could do to mitigate that issue. (That door is now seven years old, and 6 years out or warranty.)
I received an email from customer service (Thank You, Lindsay)… not only did they send me new upholstery, but also the best adhesive for that upholstery, and linked me to their customer YouTube page with a video containing a full set of instructions on how to disassemble key components, clean off the failed adhesive, install the upholstery, and reassemble the door components.
It is very refreshing to find a company that stands behind their products like PTL Engineering did for me. Beyond that, their response to was immediate. This is a superb company with a stellar customer service division, and I very much appreciate their excellence and willingness to go the extra mile. Applause!
