Fantastic company to work with! Would highly recommend.

I had opened an account with Primary Bid some time ago but it was not until yesterday that an offer came up to which I wanted to subscribe. Through my own fault, some of my set up details were incorrect and, despite it being after normal working hours, Kerry and Dean were able to resolve the outstanding issues to allow me to apply for shares. As a retired stockbroker, I was highly impressed with the customer service and the professionalism shown. I would recommend anyone considering joining Primary Bid to do so.

I originally found Primary Bid through a company I was interested in investing in and found the sign up (very) easy and the app also simple to use.

I'm also a big fan of the alerting (of new deals) and that my broker (EQi) works closely with them to ensure any assets are quickly transferred.

I'd definitely recommend that you give them a try...

I have used PrimaryBid to invest in three deals (SolGold, Tissue Regenix, which are companies I follow) and Hipgnosis,which I read about after seeing the deal notification at PrimaryBid and reading some press).

The service is very easy to use and shares settled to my Interactive Investor account without any issue.

One extra advantage PrimaryBid doesn't mention is that these 'primary' market deals don't incur the standard 0.5% stamp duty that gets charged when you buy shares in the 'secondary' market using a platform like Interactive. If you add that to the 'discount' that companies typically give to investors who participate in these raises, it means greater returns. So it's great that standard investors can now take part in these deals.

I’ve just wasted almost half an hour trying to register and the form keeps telling me to enter my postcode although it’s already entered CORRECTLY and I’ve re-entered it at least 3 times. Given the other 3rd rate reviews here I’m staggered that the LSE (A good organisation) allows such a business to call itself a partner

They make themselves look as if they’re a part of the LSE and I’m staggered at the level of service indicated by some of the reviews on this site.

Looking at the History of PrimaryBid looks very dubious, like most of these financial schemes, the company details in companies house shows no overall significant owner or managing director only a secretary, or director, the significant control of the company shows another company, if that company is still trading theyre overall control falls to another company and so on until you get to a company thats dissolved, PrimaryBid Formally known as FTG Finance Services Ltd had an off shore subsidiary known as WDC Markets this company was listed a fraudulent company getting people to invest but those people could never recover theyre funds, as accounts and passwords became unusable and the company contact details were unavailable. what you have to remember is these companies want your money for the least amount of return for you as possible

OK when things go right, but customer service seems non-existent. While other purchases have been fulfilled in the expected time I am still waiting (37 days later) for the first lot to be transferred to my broker. Took three attempts by email contact to actually receive a reply, but still no shares.

Like others, my ID details were rejected even though they were entered correctly. The other interesting thing is that the ID form automatically entered my full address details before I entered them including the Post Code. How did they know my address from 'just' my DOB, name and phone number? Perhaps it came from my browser stored info or perhaps my info has escapted onto the web.

Sent an email query to them asking if iDealing.com were one of the brokers to whom I could hold any shares bought through them with. Never got an acknowledgement or answer. Wouldn't want to trust them with any money.

Same problem as previous reviewer I.e. when trying to register online with Primarybid it kept failing saying it could not verify my identity. Tried several times ensuring my details were correct but no success. Used their email to contact them but the auto response just took me back to the start of the registration process which again failed.

Could'nt verify, unable to contact. Not the best site ??

Horrendous customer support. Had a problem paying with a card for an offer. I spoke to a lady at customer support and was told I would be phoned back directly, as there were some problems with card payments and my payment might have gone through, I said I was concerned as the message told me to try again and I did not want it taken 3 times, I was told not to worry as this would be refunded. After waiting an hour, I phoned again and was told I would be phone right back again. This had gone on from 17.40 and was now 20.30. I then spoke to a chap who said they were busy and was not anything he could do. Terrible service!

I'm buying share by X-O. Twice I've bought the offers from Primary Bid because I've received the notification from X-O. All went very well, now I've registered myself directly to Primary Bid. Hopefully, I'll have good experience with them in the future.

I have used Primary Bid before to buy shares in company share offerings.
On this occasion I applied for a quantity of shares and was charged accordingly.
Almost immediately I realised I wanted more shares and bid again.
All shares were bought and two lots of charges applied as expected.
Today I received, out of the blue, an email from Primary Bid to say that they have noticed that I bought twice and paid charges twice.
As a result they said they would refund one of the two charges to my bank account.
