After buying the CT6 model, I was initially happy with my purchase. However, within 6 months of my purchase the product developed a horrible grinding noise when used.
I emailed PowaKaddy who pointed me to one of their local service centres which was fair enough. After taking my trolley in, they had it for around 3 weeks before returning.
Excited to get back out on the course, I was immediately met with the exact same grinding noise - this noise is loud and can be heard by everyone in the group throughout the round.
I took it back to the same place just before my holiday to minimise the time without a trolley, they had it for around 2 weeks this time.
Again, excited to go out hoping my trolley was fixed, instantly the grinding noise was there.
Very frustrated, I've exchanged several messages with PowaKaddy, I've asked to raise a complaint twice(but it doesn't seem like they have a formal process) only to be given the option to return my trolley to the factory for however long that will take. I've asked for a loan trolley, but my warranty doesn't cover that.
I didn't think my £800 covered a defective product that wasn't fixable on two occasions within 6 months of purchase...I will now need to bite the bullet and take it back to the service centre and go without for a third time.
Very unimpressed, and this will most definitely be my last purchase from them.

Had my Powakaddy for just over 8 years still going strong, and very much like it and the look it gives. I also bought the accessory of an umbrella holder, but the screw to secure the umbrella handle snapped. Tried everywhere for a replacement but you cannot get one, spoke to Powakaddy sales team who advised I need to buy a new whole unit, which seems a waste when all I need is the screw or the chute which the handle fits into. Pretty disappointed, as have bag to match and other accessories, probably look at a universal holder for future or consider another brand.
Thanks for reply - but expected better with the brand of Powakaddy, now looking at universal accessories, rather than Powakaddy - would recommend others to do same.

Wanted a remote trolley to replace my standard electric trolley. Opted for the RX as didn’t need gps. Bought on the basis that it had straight line technology as play on a mountain sloping course and no tip over. As an electric trolley it works as well as the Motocaddy it replaced. Well made and looks good. As far as the straight line technology goes. Absolutely hopeless. Maintains a straight line as well as I do after a few beers and chasers. I am constantly readjusting its line. I’ve walked off faster than the trolley to see it heading at a right angle to where it started. I basically use it as a normal trolley. On the flat it’s ok but any bump or incline sets it off on a route it thinks is best to annoy me. Conclusion is I’m sure on a flat course it’s fine but inclines are a definite no no. Not sure what I expected from customer services. They advised how to reset. Didn’t work. Then disappeared. The straight line technology on a hilly or sloping course just doesn’t work. The opposite. It is maddening
Thanks for the reply. It’s the first time anyone has mentioned the ability to keep a course is dependent on slope etc and I’ve spoken to customer services a few times. On my course it’s actually so annoying it interferes with my golf. If I’d known I wouldn’t have bought. But I’m sure on a flat course it’s wonderful.

I had a problem with the electronic display on my power kaddy electric trolley. I contacted power kaddy and they asked me to return my handle, which was collected from my house. Approximately a week later it was returned to me, fully functional. I cannot fault the excellent customer service and communication I had with power kaddy, thank you very much.

Had the freeway sport trolly which served me well for many years. Recently upgraded to the new RX model ( not GPS) on first inspection trolley looks and works fine. Not having a screen onboard it is impossible to see what level of charge remains in both the trolley battery and remote battery? This just concerns me as far as overcharging is concerned not really sure if that is something to be concerned about or not! Also dissapointed to learn that my original umbrella holder and drinks holder DO NOT fit the RX model ( so have to purchase again) also the ne RX came with the fitting screw and instructions to fit the accessory station, but there was No accessory station in the box, this did cause some confusion thinking that there was a part missing, after many attempts I finally made contact with Powakaddy and was told the do NOT supply the accessory station, it is a separate part to be purchased, ( I think this is a bit of a con) why then supply the screw and instructions, if it’s a separate part provide the fittings and instructions with the part when purchased thereby negating any confusion. On a final note also I found that the instructions that came in the box were more generic rather than specific to what’s in the box, I think Powakaddy could do more to improve on that

I recently had a problem with a wheel on my Powacaddy, I contacted Powacaddy via their messaging app to explain the issue and received a phone call the next day, after explaining the problem (wheel came off & would not go back on!) a replacement was couriered and received the next day, I cannot praise the staff enough at Powacaddy and would recommend anyone to buy their products! One happy customer.

Had continued problems with my RX1 GPS remote, after many months got a full refund, thank you. Ordered the new RX12 GPS remote through my pro shop at the beginning of May and they were told 3-4 weeks before it would arrive, still no update, read somewhere it may be the middle of July before any are sent out again, can Powacaddy confirm that they are dealing with technical issues with this model and that’s why they are not despatching any just yet. I find it very hard to believe that after all this time they are just out of stock

Waited months to be able to order and than finally received my RX10 remote and sadly I have to say what a disappointment it started with the remote not connecting automatically so performed the refresh process and it did sometimes connect but sometimes not. The trolley stopped dead on me at least 3 times, and the stop button which PowaKaddy told me was high resistance only worked when pushed very hard, leading to me running after it to get it to stop on a number of occasions, I was not using the remote at this point as I was fed up of it not connecting. Also which I understand is a design 'feature' you cannot push the trolley without disengaging the wheels which for me as we need to cross a road was deeply concerning and a potential HSE risk. I tried to discuss the issues with PK via e mail and to be honest found the approach dismissive, and sought to blame me. In the end I took it back to my pro-shop who fought to have the unit sent back and asked for a refund. This was returned with the claim there were no faults, yet the remote connected, the unit did not stop on testing by my pro, but the inability to push remained and as I was so concerned I managed to agree a deal with the stop to take the unit back costing me a few hundred pounds, but at least I no longer own the trolley

Had damaged my new RX10 trolley,s handle due to it falling over - Sam responded to my repair query promptly organising it’s collection and repair, have just received it back as good as new - brilliant service - Thankyou Sam and PowaKaddy 😀

Had a problem with my RX1. I called the warranty team, they sent out a box, arranged for collection, had it repaired and gave it a complete overhaul, then got it back to me within a week. Can’t praise them highly enough. Well recommended.

Enquired about faulty control button on my CT6. Sam was great and arranged to send me replacement part with instructions on how to fit. In today's world, only expected advice on part number and maybe where to purchase. Can't fault pwk approach. Thanks

Powakaddy acheté neuf en juin 2024. Le sélecteur de vitesse tourne parfois dans le vide, sans pouvoir avoir une action dessus ce qui m’amène à courir après mon chariot, parce qu’il passe à grande vitesse… La plaquette de support de cartes en plastique, bas de gamme est cassée et pire : bruit de roulement, très dérangeant et désagréable, malgré le fait d’un entretien minutieux.
I bought a Powakaddy CT 12 GPS Electric golf trolley and unfortunately had an accident which meant the screen cracked. The Powakaddy team were quick to offer advice, assistance with packing, collection and return of the relevant parts with very speedy response/repair times.
Excellent customer service and care.

The lower bungee on my fx3 trolley started to wear away after 2 years of use. I emailed PowaKaddy with photos and they have sent me out a replacement. Thanks to Sam who dealt with my query.
