Excellent communication and very professional approach.
I was guided through the process with explanations given if I did not readily understand why things happened in a set way.
Yes, I would recommend them based on the experience I had.

Purchased a £200 plate on 16 oct 2025, its now 3 feb 2026 (almost 4 months later).

I still do not have documents for my private plate. I have also got my v5c lost by this company. Now them AND their owner JON KIRKBRIGHT are completely ignoring me.

They have initially asked me to send my v5c to them so they could forward it to dvla, this added weeks to the process. Eventually they said the logbook was sent out to me, yet it never arrived, multiple times. Eventually after speaking to DVLA myself i figured out they have been requesting to send my documents, in MY name but to PLATEHUNTERS address.

As such i have still not received anything. I am now unable to sell my car due to not having a log book. I now have to pay extra out of MY own pocket to file a new V62 form because MR JON KIRKBRIGHT (the owner) simply does not care about his customers and treats them this way.

Im also UNABLE to get plates printed as i do not have the log book and have to drive illegally with my old VRN on display as i have no other option !

Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Its clear that they deliberately issue logbooks to THEIR address instead of the customers.

Currently filing an application with small claims court to recoup all my costs and will be filing a chargeback with my bank

Following a clone of my bosses number plate, the easiest and simplest solution was to get a new plate. Platehunter was soooooo quick and simple to do business with. The plate was on the car, registered, transferred and sorted within 24 hours of finding out the car was cloned. Highly recommended

bought a private plate off them for like 100 quid and its been almost 6 months and i have still not managed to get it into my car

complete joke - been lost in the post about 4 times then they asked me to change the name and address on the logbook so they can issue me a new one and supposedly now the change forces a 4week mandatory wait from the dvla

yet dvla have updated their system so i cant even drive my car legally as i cant get anyone to make me plates without the logbook

half the time i call them no one in this company knows whats going on
