Very disappointed with my recent visit to PizzaExpress Salford Quays Designer Outlet on Sunday 19th July. The service was extremely slow from start to finish, despite the restaurant not appearing particularly busy when we arrived. We waited far too long for our food to arrive, despite having preordered earlier in the day.
What was most frustrating was the lack of communication from staff. There were no updates or apologies for the delays, which left us feeling ignored and undervalued as customers. When the food finally arrived, the overall experience had already been spoiled by the excessive waiting time.
I normally expect much better from PizzaExpress, but this visit fell well below expectations. Unfortunately, poor and slow service overshadowed the whole meal. I hope management takes steps to improve staff attentiveness and service speed in the future. Sadly, I would think twice before returning.

Hi, apart from food, the service was below standard in Ashford outlet area.
The staff was taking an ages in taking order and forgot to bring plates, glass and deserts. And when we reminded she simply said “Sorry” three times- Infact it took 10 mins to bring cheque. It is not good to take her name here.
One young staff member was avoiding us in case we prompt him to take orders as if I was asking him to return my money-
My family was not impressed and still miss Nando’s world class customer service-
Improve it, give training as people should feel better welcomed, once a customer is lost in the food industry, difficult to bring them back. Unfortunately you lost a customer and feedback to their friend-

No wonder pizza express shouldn’t go to Pizza Hut way-

This has been a family favourite for years. It was our late father-and mum's lunch spot when my late father was alive, and now it's somewhere I still love taking my mum. The food is always fantastic, the chef has been there for years, and the atmosphere never disappoints.

A massive shout-out to Ashley, the manager at the Chiswick branch. She patiently guided me through an online booking, recognised my voice when I called, and even wrote a handwritten note on our pizza boxes wishing us a lovely day. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us both smile.

Ashley always greets everyone with a smile and consistently delivers outstanding customer service. It's little acts of kindness like this that keep us coming back. We are incredibly loyal to the Chiswick branch because of the wonderful service you provide.

Friendly polite staff. Terrible coffee because of the lack of a good quality gaggia machine: the Buddha bowl was very poor value for money, mainly spinach with a little feta, two pieces of tomatoes,some beetroot and about two spoonsful of grains.

We visited Pizza Express in King's Lynn. Our hostess, Sandra was friendly and full of happy smiles. The atmosphere was good, the food excellent and well priced, and the service was marvellous. Will definitely visit again.

Neurodivergent nightmare. Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday, surrounded by screaming children. Waited 20mins for a drink and initially denied an app voucher my boyfriend had for a desert because he was unable to understand the app instructions. Waitress was nice enough but not very clued up or able to help people with ld&a needs. Whole atmosphere overwhelming and triggering. Would be interested to see the nd/ld&a risk assessment for safeguarding us is met.

Amazing service, great staff and management. Clean, cool and comfortable on ean extremely hot day. Ollie, was welcoming and a great host to my friend's, daughter's birthday party. The kids loved him. He was entertaining, informative, caring and fun.

Will be booking in very soon

Had a lovely afternoon at Braintree pizza express….. our waitress Mandy was fantastic….. very helpful, gave us guidance with using our app’s as in a techno dinosaur lol……. Our niece’s birthday….. she asked her if she would like them to sing happy birthday- she didn’t want it….. Mandy asked if she could put a candle in the ice cream for her and sing quietly…. This was accepted and no tears….. thanks Mandy…. Definitely be back to see you. Excellent service.

We ordered for delivery as a treat for the first time in a while and what we received shocked us.

The pizza must have been cut with a plastic spoon as it was not cut well or easy to pull apart. But the worst part was the Polenta Chips which cost £6.45… we did not even get 8 whole chips, the portion size was embarrassing. Surely when they were placed into the takeaway container they looked sparse and the person placing them in knew how embarrassing this looked.

Disgraceful portion sizes and massively over priced.

Prices have become ridiculous and the food has become cheap and nasty.

Literally a Tesco £2 pizza is now £20 at Pizza Express, served uncut and without the sharp knife, essential to cut the chewy raw base and a £10 small glass of wine.

On a Saturday night next to St Paul’s Cathedral with loads of to people walking around PizzaExpress is empty. Not quiet, literally not a single person inside.

Pizza Express has become an overpriced frozen pizza shop and obviously everyone in London have already worked this out.

I predict that Pizza Express, having priced itself out of the market will soon go bankrupt… Certainly after years of loyal custom, they’ve had their last £1 from me…

I just wanted to say what a lovely experience we had when visiting the London Euston Road restaurant and how fantastic the waitress - Tanya - was.
She was kind, well informed and super efficient 🤩 and the food was great!

Website ordering said fill in the password and get free dough balls…no such thing! A con! Expensive pizza with terrible limited offers. Picked up the pizza and they were cold…not even like warm.

Pizza Express and Jazz is, well it’s iconic!
As a musician I have performed at The Pheasantry, Pizza Express Chelsea. Have never been to Holborn. Went there with my son and were warmly welcomed and looked after by their fabulous host,Deborah. I think it’s so important to have a good host as its first impressions and Deborah is just that. The food was delicious and the band, The Mantecas were superb. The whole evening was just what I’d hoped as it was a treat for my son who’s just finished his A levels. Thank you. Definitely spreading the word.

Oredered a takeaway. Said deliver in 50 minutes. Well an hour and 30 mins later a cold and burnt pair of pizzas arrived. Cracked my tooth on the burnt pizza as it was so hard. Complained to just eat and got nowhere. Deleted my just eat account and will never ever use pizza express again. Terrible experience.

Shocking. Spent over £50 for cold and poorly made crap. I stupidly gave the driver a tip. Then realised items missing and cold tasteless pizzas. The fact that the bank holiday was 35 degrees. That takes a special skill to do that. NEVER AGAIN. if you want Pizza go to an Italian restaurant.

We attended with a large group as an end of season celebration.
Lauren was helpful from start to finish.
All the staff working could not do enough for us.
Food was served hot and quickly. I was very impressed with the ease in which Lauren made sure all our food and drinks came out as planned.
When it came to settling the bill, again this process was slick and organised.
Our food and drinks were excellent value for money.
Our group was rowdy (what 6 and 7 year olds aren't), but we were seated in one section of the restaurant, hopefully not disturbing other diners.

Order sauces, none turn up but they were on the bill.
Ordered extra chicken on the pizza, struggled to find any chicken.
Triple chilli wings, taste like they were covered in pesto.
Feedback, staff just ignored it.

I see why they are empty and have poor reviews
