Very disappointed! Nationwide pet insurance last year sent me multiple mails saying that the pet plan was going to be ended after November. What my husband and I understood from the misleading language that they used was that they were discontinuing that type of plan, so I asked my husband to look for another company. We started to pay a whole new plan with another company, and guess what? They were charging us this whole time. $600 dollars went to the trash can pretty much. They had the audacity to not send us any mail in the meantime, saying that it got renewed successfully or anything like that. Watch out!

So far so good. I am new. I did have an issue adding a pet the my policy on the website and getting a call back from the previous agent and had to go with a new agent who was very helpful

Actually, it was Jesus that made the experience extremely great. He was very understanding very correct right on par. He just couldn’t have been any better. They also the policy itself was good. The price was decent and I really appreciate it. Thank you people.

Had a really nice representative helping me. I renewed two of my pets and started a third pet. Prices were comparable to other insurances. I’ve been with Nationwide for over 20 years and have had no problems.

I insured my rabbit, Billie, whom I adopted from a local animal shelter. I was concerned when the post office did not promptly deliver the insurance acceptance letter. So, I phoned Nationwide and got the acceptance via email. That put my mind at ease! Nationwide has my bunny's needs covered. Thank you!

Call was prompt and the guy I talked to was helpful in explaining what will and won't be covered while keeping my concerns in mind.

The customer service person explained everything about pet insurance. Was very helpful and informative. This person was the reason I purchased.

I think the policy has worked well for the pet I have but when I tried to add another pet last month and did everything over the phone, a month passed with no email or anything updated, when I logged in, there were still no changes to the plan, so when I called in they said whoever submitted my application didn't push it through all the way so if I wanted it to be active on the date I was told service would start, I would have to pay two months of the policy upfront and for the sake of my pet, I did it but this was a mistake by the backend staff and there should have been some sort of remediation that didn't affect me out of pocket the way it did.
